Went here with my family to get some workout clothes for the girls. Good selection of clothes &…read moredecent selection of shoes. Customer service is awful. None of us were greeted when we walked in, despite about 5 people working. We spent a total of about 45 minutes in the store trying on clothes & looking at all of their products. Employees kept walking by but didn't say a word to any of us or acknowledge that we were there. All the employees were talking to each other laughing and carrying on while I was going back and forth from the dressing rooms grabbing different sizes. Finally we just put back all the clothes that we wanted to purchase and left. Will be ordering online, but really disappointed when a locally owned business doesn't even acknowledge the customers in their store... Will not return.

There were GENEROUS options for Texas Tech and Texas A&M. After this disappointment, I decided to wander around the store and heck out what else they had to offer. I found some woman's mesh shorts for $7.99 that I was SUPER EXCITED FOR! (The pair of Champion ones I was wearing have to be about 20 years old and the elastic is so loose.) I was so ready to retire these and get some new ones. Only problem... so there were 2 styles: 6"mesh basketball ones (with a draw string) and "shortie" mesh shorts (shorter in length and no draw string). I decided that the "drawstringless" ones were more comfortable and searched the rack for my size. Literally ONE pair out of the hundreds of shorts in a plethora of colors. ONE PAIR. ONE LOUSY PAIR. I got them but REALLY would have appreciated more options. I don't know if they were changing over stock or what but there were tons of pallets of merchandise in the aisles. It was a little difficult to maneuver around. As for the staff... definitely not very friendly or helpful. The girl in the fitting room literally said 2 words to me and then continued to interact with another worker WHO WAS TRYING ON STUFF. Then, waiting in line, there was ONE register open (and 4 workers behind the registers). Ok? There was a customer service register open but the girl was chatting with another employee while I stood waiting my turn for a few minutes. Finally, who calls me up? The customer service girl. Couldn't she have called me up and not had me wait. THEN while she was checking me out, she was still having the conversation with the other employee instead of having any interaction with me... the CUSTOMER! Very bizarre. Just felt like the workers were more interested in chatting with other employees than helping customers. So the 3-Stars is because it is good that there is a sporting goods store here in Midland. Not happy with the selection of merchandise or the customer service.

She did not reply with the usual, " not my department, I'll call someone", no, she laughed and said she wouldn't let me do that, I was a customer, so I found what I wanted, she offered further assistance and she was so helpful when her coworker walked up I told him how she helped me find my balls and how happy I was. Dynasty, is the definition of what customer service should be. She found my balls, offered more help, when I saw her again later, she smiled huge and asked if I was still okay or if she could help me further. How cool is that? They have a limited stock on some things, and then great selections on others. The bad, if you go in there expecting customer service, forget about it, there was only one guy working and he pretty well stayed hid behind a display leaning on the shelves messing with his phone. I think if my intentions are to go in and drop almost $200 on a belt, I expect some customer service, and I shouldn't have to solicit it, either. He looked up on occasion but then right back down to his phone. Sales people shouldn't be allowed to carry their phones while on the floor. If they were set on burning a potentially loyal customer into someone who will never come back, congratulations, you did it.

Moments later another amiable employee asked me if I needed any help. She guided me towards the girls' jeans section. This store has mostly Western wear and "workin' man" gear. I'm happy to report that there were some good options here - a bit on the pricey side - but because of the friendly service and mostly clean and well-kempt place, I'll return. They're open 7 days a week and accept cash or plastic.

I usually shop in the Buckle for my Miss Me jeans, but I don't like being 'sold to' so intensely, so I haven't been in a while. I walked by American Eagle, and they had some great jeans on display. I haven't been in there before, so I went in. First of all, the kids working there are amazing-friendly, super helpful and NOT pushy! I asked for help twice, to find specific pairs of jeggings and to ask about sizing. Jessie was such a huge help! She nailed my size with one look, and the jeggings fit to perfection! (Fyi: Miss Me size 29 is equal to size 8 jeggings in AE). Love this store, love the clothing and the sweet staff! Definitely my new go-to store in Midland.
