No Grumpy Old Men found here just friendly service and a lot of bait for your buck! The young man behind the counter always greets us with a smile, and gave helpful recommendations on what bait to use depending on what we were fishing after that day. I bought the usual minnows and took the recommended night crawlers hoping to catch CatfishHunter! I didn't catch him (story of my life) but ended up reeling in a big one, a nice looking Northern Pike! I know pics or it didn't happen, guess I'll have to post it! The shop also has some snacks and soda including locally made jerky, the fish are not the only ones who need to eat! If that's not enough right next door is Emma's Diner, I was told the locals are hooked on the sandwiches so definitely need to catch one of those next time I'm in town. Next time your in the area and in need of some bait, give them a try! Great bait, great prices, and great service and that's no fish story!

My mom and I stopped in Tuesday @ open, we were greeted by friendly Reuben. We told him I had a…read moreyoung nephew who had took up archery last year..... Reuben talked us through bows, targets, arrows and their shooting range room. You can shoot targets for two hours for $12, if you also need to include bow rental, the two hour price is $25. We thought two hours was a bit much and he even said the kids get pretty tired before two hours.... Surprisingly he said even my younger nephews would also be able to rent the target range! Rueben also talked us through their selection of targets. Who knew there were so many options? Archery Country was a great find. We will definitely be back once we find out more what he's looking for and likely to bring him to shoot in the target room. Not that we looked at them but I was surprised to see there were a few fat bikes on display when you came in the door. A lot of great inventory to peruse and accessories.
