Tony was also looking for some work jeans at a reasonable price. No need to pay full retail for jeans for work that are going to get all stained up anyway. But again we found nothing, today we were more window shopping but in this case bin and shelf diving/shopping. The store was large and slightly bit musky smelling like something had been under some major water and caused damage. But the large windows made it sort of light and airy too..I would definitely shop here again if I was in the area.

I tried to do business with this Rent-2-Own. After answering a battery of questions, I informed the…read moresalesmen "Ben" that I was new to the area, and didn't have to any references in the area. He informed me that was fine and to give references I have. I also asked him not to contact my landlord for personal reasons. He asked about utility bills, to which I agreed and offered several other ways to verify my residence. I received a call back from him less than an hour later claiming "I did not qualify". When I asked why, he stammered over giving me an answer. Almost refusing to answer. I asked for a supervisor. I then talked to "Mark" who informed me that it was because I "Didnt have enough local references". I then questioned why I was being punished for being new to an area. At which point he got very defensive, and informed me that I wasn't. He stated I refused to give a "Home" phone number, which I did not, I simply told my salesman that my Alternate number was a simpler and more guaranteed way of reaching me. I offered any other information that was needed, Mark then again informed me that I didnt, have "enough local references". I repeated about being punished for moving to the area. To which I was informed "It was his decision and that's how it stood"!! It was obvious this company is only interested in doing business in their small town environment, if your not from their small town you are not worth their time nor effort. I asked many times for a reason not to trust me, he could not answer this, except to hint that, he would not trust me because I did not have friends in Chilicothe. Mark essentially discriminated against me because I wasn't a "Good Ole Boy" from his little town.

The Dollar Tree is always a good stop for affordable finds, and one of my favorite budget chains. This Chillicothe location is no different and has a great layout and is well stocked. They have a nice selection of cards, gift bags, tissue paper, and seasonal decorations, and kitchenware. The service here was great as well. The store was clean and easy to shop in. I was looking for Hot Fries on this trip but couldn't find them, so I had picked up some plastic forks and some batteries for back home. If you are in the area, it is a good spot for quick and cheap shopping.

Bill's Bait House is a small fishing supply and gun shop on the edge of Lake White. I grew up close…read moreby and have been here countless times. For fishing supplies they have good low cost live bait, bobbers, line and other accessories. On the gun side for a small country bait shop I call the selection adequate. Prices on guns could be better compared to other locations not far away. But I understand the overhead cost in operating a small shop like this. They usually have a good supply of ammo and regularly have sales. 22 long rifle and 22 magnum are in stock frequently as of this review. I did an online firearm transfer through this shop a couple years ago with no hassle. $30 transfer fee which is normal and fair. Even with ammo prices at a slight premium I like supporting this local landmark.
