After hiring the The Roof Doctors, they: a) removed the existing layer of roofing shingles to wood deck, b) installed ice and water shield on all eaves and valleys, around chimneys, and on all low pitch areas of roofing b) installed premium GAF synthetic vapor barrier on field section of roof deck, c) installed GAF Timberline Lifetime shingles, d) installed new roll vent ridge vent system e) installed new step flashing and counter flashing including base around chimney, f) installed new GAF Hip and Ridge caps, and g) installed new counter flashing on chimneys. They even installed gutter guards and trimmed low-hanging branches above upper roof section -- at no extra cost. The entire project was all for under $10,000! Not only that, due to an oversight by the supplier, Roof Doctors fought for them to upgrade my shingles to to ultraHD shingles at no additional cost. They were professional and efficient, which is why I referred them to my friend who also raved about their service. My referral earned me $250! While the initial water remediation was thorough and acceptable, the subsequent reconstruction and administrative process were terrible. The project took months longer than expected due to internal personnel issues (employees stealing from the company) that ServPro failed to communicate, leaving me completely in the dark. Furthermore, the billing and administration aspects were highly problematic. ServPro Howell overcharged for the work, billing for services that were either unnecessary or not performed at all -- such as charging an exorbitant fee to move furniture a foot for painting, and billing for covering floors and counters when it was never actually done. While it may seem convenient to use them, especially since Home Insurance may pay for much of the process, I strongly advise taking the time to find a qualified, independent contractor to restore your home instead. If you do find yourself dealing with home damage, please remember to document everything and take detailed pictures throughout the process.

Seven months after the fact, they went to the police department and file a false criminal complaint stating that I stole a check that was due to them. Finally, they requested that I sign a contract, and I refuse to until was approved by insurance company. They said it to the police that I did Sign which is false.
