The office where papers were signed had old vinyl flooring literally coming up. Almost couldn't want anywhere without tripping. The process was very old school and slow and took almost 24 hrs after signing to receive a wire transfer for the funds. Not only this but it took an extra week to close because the title company completely disregarded any update emails from our mortgage company. Not only over looked it once, but twice. They were short 3900$ Ben, the horrendous lawyer on staff, then threatened lawsuits against me through text message for HIS MISTAKE. Not one apology from his end. So rude, over the top and dramatic. He was the entire reason this process was horrible. Would highly recommend any other title company besides this one. Kept the text messages for record purposes.

We've never been given a straight answer about whether the problem originating with the mortgage company or with Gulf Coast, but our suspicion is that it was the title company that made the error. We've been trying to get this issue resolved since July and we were told today that it would not be fixed because it would cost $125 and they refuse to pay it. I'll omit the name of the attorney we spoke to there, but he was incredibly rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. Here's hoping no one else has to deal with the gross incompetence and failure to take responsibility this company has displayed.
