He has been reported to Farm Bureau Insurance for this exact scam. I am out $2,200 "upfront" and the additional $1,100 + it cost me to actually do the work in 24hrs. He had my vehicle for 12 weeks - including 2 Hurricanes and 2 vehicles "stolen" from his prior business Dickinson Auto Works. He even blamed delays on hurricanes when he had vehicle for 6 weeks prior to 1st storm. He still could not find the time to call and update or complete the work on my vehicle. Every time I stopped by he was gone. I have the original bumper on my vehicle he said he replaced 2x and the parts were defective. My last conversation with him he stated if you're not happy take me to court. What a business plan, and what customer service. SO please, please save yourself the stress and loss. By the way his wife is the office person and quits during and after every argument so don't count on any assistance from "management". Make sure if you stop by you ask him to smile with his gold teeth. I guess I know how he can afford them. Sorry to be listed as a victim. I was debating on taking him to court, but now seeing Shawn M complaint and warning and 2 other current victims under "New Beginnings" - He needs a new name Same Ole Stealing New Location". I returned to Yelp, looked for another auto body shop, and found Deloach Body Works. I met with Steve, a delightful gentleman who quoted $744.50 on Friday, October 25. He said the job would be completed by Tuesday, October 28, at 3:00 p.m. They wore spot-on, with the vehicle ready, and even washed the car; Deloach did a magnificent job, and I highly recommend them.
