Normally, physicians I've seen in the past have only addressed the primary reason for my visit. Never really caring about "the rest." Dr.Thornton is my new primary doctor. She goes above and beyond her job and has helped me in countless ways. When she was out on medical leave, I saw Dr. Patel who was also very kind and understanding. The staff working at the front desk are always very helpful and I never have to wait in this office which is amazing. I was just there yesterday and I didn't even have a chance to sit down on a chair in the waiting room as my name was called right away. Your time is valued which I greatly appreciate. They used to have an office in Coatesville which was much closer for me but it's worth the further drive to West Chester for the great care I receive. Like many doctor offices, book your appointment far in advance because their schedules get very full. I can't say enough good things about this practice and I would highly recommend Dr. Briones!

I have been a patient of Dr. Beitman's since 1999 to the present day. When I was first taken to…read morehim, I had such horrible pain in my esophagus, that I couldn't swallow water. Dr. Beitman performed an EGD on me that same day, because I hadn't eaten, and diagnosed me with erosive esophagus with hernias there as well. His treatment and knowledge of what medication to prescribe to correct the issue as quickly as possible, given the amount of discomfort I was experiencing, was amazing in that I was infinitely better in about three months! I stayed with Dr. Beitman as my General Physician because when I went to other doctors, they would tell me I didn't need everything I was taking - by a nurse practitioner. Needless to say, that was the last time I saw anyone else. Knowing the high costs of medical procedures performed in a hospital, he offers to do procedures such as an EGDs and Colonoscopies in his specialized rooms set to perform these procedures, saving the patients hundreds if not thousands of dollars especially those without insurance, or those who have percentage co-pays. Dr. Beitman treats my hypertension and has gotten my BP under control and he is a kind and attentive Doctor who listens to me no matter how busy he is. In my humble opinion, I believe Doctor Beitman is a brilliant physician in every specialty field he's certified in, as well as General Physical needs. I would highly recommend him to anyone with gastro-intestinal problems, bowel disorders, and geriatric care, to name a few. But once eve ran around the office letting everyone know she going give me a rectal exam( very unprofessional & where's dr. Patient confidentially?, I had one done and yes glad I DID NOT LISTEN TO DR. & waited 2 more years( be dead waiting for what the dr think is right.)other issues you have to go there 3 times for same issue before they take it seriously. Then medications they prescribes YOU NEED TO READ MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS, case in point eve prescribing 2 a day one in morning and one in evening when really your supposed to take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. So I finally had my fill with this practice and send a letter in the portal that we always communicate through, stating I had enough with the lack of unprofessionalism this practice and I'll be finding a new dr. This weekend. Once again eve shows how out of touch with her patients & sends a certified letter that I'm guessing states she's not going be my de anymore. SAD IT TOOK EVE 6 YEARS TO FINALLY BE ON THE SAME PAGE. Now they sent me a $10 charge for a certified letter that's saying the same thing as I sent them in their own portal!! Remember your health is your responsability, and never put it in an other persons hands cause they are here for the money not you!! I could go on on how they screw up prescriptions, X-rays on wrong shoulder, etc., if you thinking about this practice look further then here. Unless you want to be your own dr. But paying them. Really this practice was only good at writing prescriptions but then they can't get them to correct pharmacy or prescribes the correct dosage. I'm just getting old and putup with this crappy service way too long. My health gotten worse going to this practice but my prescription load had quadrupl. When I started going to this practice I told my PA about my heartburn and that I'm a soda whore. Hear reply is here's a prescription for heartburn medicine. Nothing on trying to fix the problem such as stop your intake of high fructose corn syrup. once again your responsibility is finding a good Dr. and this isn't the place to search for one.

He is extremely thorough, includes you in your healthcare decisions, and responsive. I can send him a portal message and he will respond within the day even on weekends. Heather, the phlebotomist is exceptional. She is the only person I will allow to touch me for blood work. All of the the front desk is great, I just wish there was more of them. The wait time on the phones can be very lengthy upwards of 20+ minutes.
