I hate to be writing this review but I do not recommend using this company. What should have taken…read morea couple of weeks, ended up being a nearly 5-month process. From the very beginning, I experienced communication problems with them and would keep calling to follow up regarding the next steps in getting the work done. I admit I became very frustrated with the communication and contributed to the lack of communication a couple of times. Overall, Sparks did a very poor job with follow up, providing correct information and acknowledging and addressing problems. Not only was there communication issues with me but among themselves. When I tried to address issues with one of the guys, I would often receive incorrect information due to not communicating with another staff. At one point, I was told not to bring anything up with the owner because he wouldn't write things down or remember to follow through. As the work was being finished, I had texted one of the guys to inform of issues such as paint being ripped off from the tape used or paint being on the wood floors and did not receive any response back. It wasn't until I received an invoice asking for me to pay them was there any response. It took much time to get anything resolved and there was little acknowledgement that there were actual problems. Additionally, some of the work was just sloppy. One example was that a vent was placed in a different spot than it had been originally. I was first told they couldn't put it back to where it had been which wasn't true. I had to protest multiple times to get it fixed. When two men finally came to fix it, it was quite the ordeal with them yelling and arguing with one another. They even cut into the wrong place on the sheet rock, leaving a small hole. It would take months and some coaxing for Sparks to fill in the hole. When leaving, I could hear the two men argue about not telling me about something that one of the men thought I should know. I still don't know what that was. Furthermore when painting, some of the nails were jut painted over. The movers also did a pretty sloppy job with furniture placed in random rooms. Curtains were placed on backwards. Wood floor now has a deep scratch from furniture moved. One bed was pretty dirty. When I received an invoice following no response of the issues I was trying to address, the amount due did not match the estimate and was a pretty even number with any explanation. When I asked for an itemized list of charges, it took a couple of weeks to get this and the total amount due still did not match the invoice. I have finally have gave up and wad tired of dealing with it. I'm glad it seems others had a better experience but it was pretty poor one for me.

The bad was dealing with the owner, to do some minor repairs. I was accused of being passive aggressive, because I touched base on Zane's website, reminding him for the 3rd time, that I still needed the job completed. The second time was while we were voting for the Presidential election. He had ample time to input a reminder on his phone calendar, to reach out to me. I waited 3 weeks more and contacted him on his website....merely reminding Zane...nothing aggressive, or rude, just a reminder. His response? I was passive aggressive!!! I would find a company that is glad to provide excellant service. Funny...these companies are all too talkative before they get the job. Yet seem to make rude remarks when you need 15 minutes of their time for a simple repair. The real kicker...he lives maybe 1 minute away. I pray that others that live 15 minutes away, or more, get better service. There are other companies to consider. ​

We initially chose this company because they were located so close to our new home. They were…read moreincredibly friendly and worked fast. Unfortunately the quality suffered with that speed. We originally had hardwood floors in some places and carpet in others which created uneven areas and damage to the baseboards, which was expected in those areas and not at all their fault. What was not expected was the random cutting and piecing together of the baseboards in level places. There are fourteen of these corners. We were left with extra pieces of baseboards that we discovered thrown on the floor of our garage that don't belong anywhere we can find. Given that we paid for removing and resetting the baseboards this was very unimpressive. I wish I hadn't told them that we were planning on replacing the baseboards as soon as we could because that could've contributed to their lack of care on that issue. We ended up having to level the whole bottom floor which took our budget from that. They removed the flooring in our laundry room which was not part of our original plan/budget and replaced it with much thinner linoleum (we were not presented with any options, they selected it themselves without consulting us) which tore immediately when moving in our washer and dryer and has made it nearly impossible to move them since then because they get stuck. They assured us it would be replaced and that has never happened. When we did our final walkthrough we were happy with the main flooring but asked them to come back to fix the damage they had left behind. In addition to the linoleum there was some minor damage to our new dishwasher and multiple places where chemicals ruined our paint. Over time we discovered that a lot of the baseboards were not even attached and chunks were falling off the corners that were cut and pieced together and there was nothing attaching them. Some were unrecoverable when dogs got to them. This was obviously a safety issue for our dogs and children. We made calls within a month or so of this happening but never heard back. Given that they never followed up and left us with more damage than necessary we will be looking for another company to do the top floor of our home.

The customer service and assistance we received in helping us to make decisions was superb. Miguel and Tim are true professionals in the business. They made us feel like family and were not pushing us to make quick decisions. They were very patient with us in that we had to do our floors in phases due to the amount of furniture we needed to move around. The craftman ship of the installer was great. Aaron worked quickly and had our floors done in a matter of a couple of days. He gave us a time that he would show up and he was there on time each day. Unfortunately, the positives stop there. I feel EA stone completely dropped the ball on communication, execution, and accountability. * They completely botched the installation of the backsplash and tried to blame me for their mistakes. Ultimately they did fix the backsplash after a lot of wasted time and unnecessary debate * They caused extensive damage to my cabinet paint during installation - their response: it's on you * They used a grinder and took big chunks out of the side of my cabinets: their response: it will be covered so it's acceptable * They cut the kitchen island top 2 inches two long which left large open gaps on the sides of the island. They refused to fix it. I feel that EA Stone left the job unfinished, caused extensive damage, and when confronted, they made excuses, deflected, and ultimately blamed the customer. They left a huge mess of quartz dust throughout the house with zero attempt to clean up. I feel that EA stone failed every step of the way - and while everyone makes mistakes, I would not recommend doing business with them due to their compromised integrity and respect for the customer.

Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient during the entire process The care and professionalism during the installation was second to none they are truly perfectionist during the installation and all finishing details. During the installation of the very last piece, Edgar noticed a cut going the wrong way and made the statement, it was unacceptable and went back and got another new piece to install so it would be perfect. They will be doing any additional projects we need to have done. This is the quality that they provide and that you're going to be looking for as well.
