What started out as complete bad luck--going forward onto a curb, which nearly pulled our front bumper off--could have easily turned into a costly nightmare but this place not only saved us, allowing us to drive home safely, but also fit us in the very next morning to do the repair! And they did a fantastic job at a generous price! I think most places would have tried to talk us into buying a whole new bumper but they salvaged our existing bumper nearly flawlessly. I am beyond impressed! We visited them due to their positive reviews and proximity to where our accident occurred but I would make the drive back there to see them specifically again. I have a high deductible so I expected to come out of pocket. That said I searched the Sacramento area, made many calls and stopped by some shops. Now I know sometimes it makes sense to go to franchise type businesses that gives the perception of guaranteed satisfaction, but when it came to auto body work that wasn't my experience. This small family-owned business is fantastic. I have had them work for me twice. The first was a small paint-only job for an aftermarket part I was putting on a car. The second was a bumper cover and crash bar replacement after a hit and run that I didn't want to deal with insurance for. In both cases, the value was excellent. The quality of the work far exceeded the price I paid. That first paint-only job involved a tri-coat paint that is known to be hard to match, but the match was perfect. The second job also involved the labor of removing the damaged parts and replacing them. I provided the parts. The work was perfect; the bumper lined up exactly, and again, although the paint for this car was a traditional base and clear, it was a perfect color match. read more

I bumped my car into the metal walls and broke the plastic fog light cover in the front. I was so worried to pay more than $1000 to get it replaced because my car is a new model. Luckily, I found Diaz Auto Body & Frame online. They quickly helped me find the part at the dealership for $200, which I confirmed it myself on their website. The labor cost is pretty fair in my opinion ($180) because I definitely cannot take the bumper off to replace that piece. I have a few scratches on my car, but I don't mind them right now. The very best body shop I've ever been to. Excellent work performed, upfront and honest with prices and services. I found the Diaz family, after a collision resulted in a rip-off insurance company sending me to their rip-off body shop, who fraudulently claimed the vehicle was totaled. It was not. The Diaz brothers, and Father, put my 1998 Chevy Suburban back together like brand new, every part, all work, and the new paint was and is still beautiful. I paid 2500 to put a bumper on my 74 corvette and a new hood. The bumper was held on with vise grips and locking pliers. The hood wasn't properly aligned. I took my vehicle to Diaz Autobody after some ass sideswiped my car while parked in a parking lot at my doctors office. Since they did not take responsibility and leave a note I was forced to pay out of pocket for the repair. Diaz was fair in their bid so I took the car in the next week. After dropping tge car off Alan dropped me off at home and picked me up after they finished the job. I was impressed with the quality and workman ship. The repair area looks like new. I dislike driving in a damaged vehicle and had considered buying a new car but since the repair I reconsidered. After all why have a target worth 25-30 K new vehicle when this is the second time my car has been hit by a jerk and does not take responsibility. Hopefull this is the last time someone hits me but if I am involved in an accident I will have Diaz Auto Body do the repairs. Great work guys! read more

We went to the shop to get our front and back bumpers restored. They were in really bad shape. We just wanted to make the car look good. After going over alternate suggestions from Mr. Diaz, we decided to use bed liner paint. This great team painted the hood, front, and rear bumper with truck bed liner paint. They also adjusted my front bumper that was rattling and fixed some rust and other issues, working with our budget. It ended up looking fabulous and very original! We are getting many compliments. We are very happy with the service, the price, the work Mr. Diaz and his son Alan did, and of course, the final result! They are very honest, conscientious people. It was a great experience.
