Each choice is a completely different experience with completely unique flavors. There's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. If you're looking for a great burger, this is the place to go.

We have learnt that in Spain people have dinner quite late so we arrived starving for dinner while they were setting up. Asked what burger they recommend, had no idea what the heck they suggested but we ordered what they point out. With choice of bun and rare/medium/well done for the pattie. First burger had a well balanced of meat, lettuce and tomota. The smokey flavour of the bacon complimented the beef and brought the whole burger together. Huge block of soft feta cheese was lovely. Soggy bottom bun was a little disheartening. Still very enjoyable and would have again. Second burger was the biggest impact of flavour. Three cheeses, one being gorgonzola (blue vein), was so powerful it was like being punched in the mouth with taste. It was overpowering but still delicious. I had to dip the burger into the wife's BBQ dipping sauce, using the sweet smokey flavour to balance out the cheese. Salty and not for the faint of heart. Fries was a little under cooked for my liking. I like a crispy golden brown chip with fluffy insides and a good helping of salt. Very casual environment. A bit like a family steak house meets fast food. Service was great. They were very patient with us and our grapple with the Spanish language.

If you like medium, I would ask for medium well. Mine came a little red in places. I tried the cheese fries with bacon. Very good. It's like ordering the really authentic nacho cheese at a carnival or movie theater. Very bad for you I'm sure, but so tasty. I also order the classic bacon cheese burger with fries. I could not finish everything, but was happy I was able to try everything. On top of all this, I washed it down with a cold beer. Nice little burger joint on Ledesma…read more I joined some friends there for a drink and dessert, because I had already eaten earlier. All of them ordered burgers, fries, onion rings, and so on, with all the fixings and condiments one would expect at a decent burger restaurant. It felt like I was back in the States as opposed to spending my first evening in Bilbao! The conversation was flowing - my four colleagues were from four different countries and had lived and worked all over the world, which made for excellent discussion. The staff was uber friendly. The lady at the front counter gave me free beer samples before I settled on the 1906 on tap (toasty and delish), and steered me towards the carrot cake, which was equally filling and delicious. She also invited us for a live music performance by the Basque-Colombian band that was playing over the music system; they are scheduled to later this week! Gives me one more reason to return, as I've been craving one of those burgers!

After all we have American restaurants in Australia too and we have no quarrels visiting them. This place is a super chill multi-leveled burger house, with the main dining area where you first walk in, the kitchen half a floor up, and another dining area half a floor down (underneath the kitchen). We had one waitress looking after the whole restaurant and she busted her butt making sure everyone was looked after and happy. The restaurant wasn't mega busy but it was still a lot for one person. Needless-to-say she got a great tip. I ordered an XXL Burger and the wife got nachos. My burger was very enjoyable and the fries weren't half bad either. The pattie was cooked perfectly, everything was fresh and proportion of flavours were spot on. My wife thought the nachos were okay but they weren't her favorite. It was lathered with a cheese sauce. This must be an American thing that hasn't caught on in Australia. We do prefer massive lakes of hot melted cheese on our nachos. But hey, everyone has a preference. Service was amazing. The place was clean and looked the part of a modern burger restaurant. They have beer. What's not to love about this place! The only thing that was a slight drawback was the metal chair I sat on would pop in and out every time I adjusted my position.
