We have learnt that in Spain people have dinner quite late so we arrived starving for dinner while they were setting up.
Asked what burger they recommend, had no idea what the heck they suggested but we ordered what they point out. With choice of bun and rare/medium/well done for the pattie.
First burger had a well balanced of meat, lettuce and tomota. The smokey flavour of the bacon complimented the beef and brought the whole burger together. Huge block of soft feta cheese was lovely. Soggy bottom bun was a little disheartening. Still very enjoyable and would have again.
Second burger was the biggest impact of flavour. Three cheeses, one being gorgonzola (blue vein), was so powerful it was like being punched in the mouth with taste. It was overpowering but still delicious. I had to dip the burger into the wife's BBQ dipping sauce, using the sweet smokey flavour to balance out the cheese. Salty and not for the faint of heart.
Fries was a little under cooked for my liking. I like a crispy golden brown chip with fluffy insides and a good helping of salt.
Very casual environment. A bit like a family steak house meets fast food. Service was great. They were very patient with us and our grapple with the Spanish language.
