I received a reading in exchange for an honest review. I am an established blogger and product reviewer and I have wanted to speak to a medium for quite some time. I have needed to do so and in recent weeks it was extremely important I got to try to reach out to my Mom. In the phone call before I set an appointment Diane already surprised me with things that she said and was able to know and I was really excited for the reading last night. Almost instantly, she mentioned a few things and I was very stilled by what she knew. She knew things only my Mother would've known. I intentionally did not say who it was I was trying to reach out to nor did I tell her when they died, how they died etc. There's nothing on the internet that can be searched about my Mother's death at all or how she died so that was my test and she passed. I simply can't say enough good things about Diane. After reading the negative review, it's just difficult to believe that the person was ever truly open to the reading. That's the things about speaking with Mediums - you must be available to be read, and allow yourself to relax and open up emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Both my husband and myself had a reading from Diane - me a few weeks prior. He was very skeptical, but definitely believed in the gift. I went in with a very open mind, not sure what was going to come through. In the beginning of the call, Diane makes it very clear that she is essentially playing a game of charades, so she is shown pictures, worlds, sounds, names, etc. She immediately picked up on someone, a friend of mine's brother; then before I could even say who it was that I hoped to speak with, she said her name. It's not a common name either, and we weren't even related. Believe me, I scoured the internet before my reading in search of ANYTHING that could have been used in the call. I found very little, but definitely nothing that could have been used. At first, I was very reserved with my answers, not wanting to give too much away,and still a bit apprehensive. However, within a few minutes, Diane had already told me things that she would have NEVER known, had my loved ones not been sitting with her. She is the real deal, and she loves what she does. After letting my husband listen to my call, I talked him into getting one himself. (He was raised in an extremely religious household and was always taught to stay away from this type of things. As he's grown up, though, he's developed his own beliefs, but his was still in the back of his mind.) As the call approached, he began to feel very nervous, wondering if it would be a waste of time or money. 9:00pm rolls around and he's dialing in. When Diane answered, I saw his face relax, and he was immediately warmer. She has a way of making you feel okay - like you're talking to someone you've known for years. It's very difficult to not get attached to chatting with her! Anyways, BOOM, right off the bat, she mentioned that my husband was a curriculum man and that he would be making a major decision in the next year regarding a change of direction in his field. That's amazing because he is a teacher and had JUST completed his principal certification, hoping to move into administration. The next thing she mentioned was his grandma, who is exactly the person he was hoping to connect with. Then his great aunt, and finally his grandfather. She mentioned that they know about our 5 month old son. She mentioned things that only he and I knew. What made him nearly lose it, crying very hard, was when she mentioned something that his grandparents had told only him - I didn't even know about this. He was truly blown away and spent the rest of the night just assessing what had been said to him. He seems lighter now. He seems free of anything that was once weighing him down. We can't thank Diane enough for this. I cannot express just now grateful I am that we found Diane. She has truly changed our lives, especially my husbands, with the amazing answers she gave us. My suggestion to all, takes many notes, and record the phone call if you can. You will want to listen later when the adrenaline and emotion have died off - we have listened to each of our calls a couple of times and get something new out of it every time. My reading was at least 6 months ago. I agree with a few things from the previous reviewer: Diane does seem like a nice person, during my session she might've been having an off day & she did seem completely inaccurate in about 90% of the info she gave me. I decided to email her before scheduling an appointment because on her website it looked like her first opening wasn't for 3 weeks. At the time, I was in the process of final interviews for several positions out of the state. I wanted to see her ASAP & not have to wait so long out, or rather book something, pay in advance, when it would be very possible I'd be out of town for a final interview or have to move by the time my scheduled appointment came around. I emailed her to ask if she might have something open sooner than what her website indicated, as last minute cancellations happen. The response I received from her was short, but came across as somewhat selfish. However, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt as it's tough to get a read of someone's personality from email alone. If I don't know someone, it's not my place to assume that they have a super flexible schedule or that they can just drop what they're doing to meet up for an appointment. I expect others to treat me the same way. How do you know I don't have a flexible schedule, I'm in the process of moving to another state, I'm taking care of a very ill parent, I'm a single parent, I work as a doctor at a busy ER, etc.? When I arrived for my appt. the energy/vibe (in the waiting area) was calm. However, she was running 15 min late & when the previous person walked out of her office, the energy was very heavy/morbid & there were about 4 people with them in the room. I went in & she said immediately that I was a writer- I'm not. It's not a dream or aspiration of mine, not something I've ever pursued professionally, nor is it something I'm interested in trying as a new profession. I'm not passionate about writing, but sometimes we need to try new things & get out of our comfort zone in order to unlock a new door or new opportunity. Sure, it's healthy & can be considered therapeutic to try exploring the arts as a way to heal from many maladies both mental & physical. I'd love to go sky diving at least once in my life, but that certainly doesn't make me a professional thrill seeker or adventurer. Nor would I be interested in trying that as a career/profession. As my reading continued there was this air of "I know better than you, I have more knowledge than you," she actually said something to the effect of "there's no excuse for people to be out of work, there are many jobs available regardless of the economy." It was clear she knew little to nothing about me & my current situation in life. Perhaps she was having an off day, was too drained from the previous reading with the 5 people in the room. She kept going on & on about me & writing & what types of writing exercises I should do each morning. I told her several times writing wasn't my thing or my passion. She then went on about how I should try teaching in the arts. I didn't mention anything (as I shouldn't have to considering her profession), but I studied at Juilliard & teaching/writing isn't what I trained for 15 plus yrs to do. I asked if I would get one of the jobs I was interviewing for & if she could tell me about my chances with either one, where I might be moving to, when? She gave me a very vague & blanket answer. She said it all depended on my energy, where I would make shifts...OK, that's interesting. I've been to many gifted people on both coasts who could give me specific time frames of events, regardless of my energy said events came to fruition. She must've known the reading wasn't going well because then SHE decided to switch it up & turn it into a medium type of reading which was NOT what I came to her for. Even then, the things she told me that were "coming from the other side" were completely off & not accurate at all. She asked to touch my hand to "make the connection stronger," even then nothing she told me was on point or resonated with me. She should've stopped the session when she realized she was way off base. The fact that she didn't felt unethical. If she became aware (by my speaking up) that she was so off, then she should've stopped & issued me a refund, plain & simple. People need to be cognitive of their words & what "advice" they try to give. You don't know someone's situation, what they're dealing with as well as what they've had to endure. To tell someone they should try this or be open to doing that can be very irresponsible. Do you know how hard they've worked, are you aware of what they deal with on a daily basis? We truly don't know someone's mental or physical state of mind & therefore we shouldn't make ignorant assumptions or attempt to steer someone down a path that isn't for them. I recently had a reading with Diane Gremmel and I found her to be dead on accurate with the information she had for me. Things that she knew about a deceased family member that I did not even know myself at the time of the reading, turned out to be true when I spoke to his sibling. I'm sure everyone has off days, like the negative posters below experienced but my reading was exceptional!!! The hour flew by and I felt like it was money well spent. I've never done a review on Yelp but I felt compelled to write a review for this. My reading with Diane was a few weeks ago, and I couldn't have been more disappointed. I do believe in this sort of stuff as I've had a reading in the past that made me want to do it again. I saw the negative reviews right before my reading, but I went anyway because I saw some positive press. Diane is a very sweet woman and she is the type of person you'd love to have as a friend and talk over coffee about problems but a reading with her is definitely not worth the hefty price tag of $120 (I thought I read that her readings were only $100). She may have a gift but I don't think it's something that is consistent. I spoke with her for an hour and nothing seemed like the previous reading I had. She felt like a friend who listened to what I had to say and I ended up filling in all the blanks for her. Her reading felt more like a friend having a conversation with me and encouraging me and less like a psychic reading. If you are looking for a therapist, she would be a great person to talk to. If you are looking for a psychic, I would probably advise you to go elsewhere. Again, the woman is very kind and sweet. But I can't help but feel like I left with an empty wallet and a reading that was just a repetition of what I told her. read more

Eh. Not impressed at all. I read an article in the Houston Chronicle and one from the UH newspaper that said she was really good. My reading was 30 minutes. $55/30 min. $100/hour. She told me which chair she would sit in and gave me the option of 2 seats. I thought she would begin by telling me something, giving me some kind of feeling she got from me, or what a spirit wanted to share, but I didn't get any of that. She started by asking my birthday and asking if I had any questions. Right off the bat! Everything she said was based off of something I said. Such a cold read. She made no predictions or said anything that would lead me to believe she is psychic. Ex: Me: "I just don't know what to do." Her: "I feel like it's a very confusing time for you now, would you agree?" lol. She didn't even get everything right I told her. She asked for my ex-gf's birthdate which I gave to her. Then later in the convo said she's 40 right? I said no. she said oh I thought you said she was born in 1980. (I didn't say that. Even if I did, she would be 32). That being said, it was nice to talk to someone and have someone listen to me and talk to me about different "problems." But that kind of thing, in my opinion, should be left to a counselor/psychologist. It would probably cost the same, if not less and you'd be getting a professional. I completely agree with Kid A. Do not waste your money or time. Ms. Gremmel is a very sweet lady but definitely not a psychic. Her "predictions" were totally dependent on facts I had already mentioned, were still inaccurate and would change to reflect my response when I would disagree with what she was saying. Example: My main question (she'll ask you at the very beginning what your question(s) is/are) was regarding relationships. She began by saying, "I sense you were involved with someone." I corrected her, I am currently involved with someone. She continues, "I sense you are in a relationship and are confused." The conversation continued to be inaccurate and ended by her saying that the outcome of my problem was my choice, definitely not a prediction. Ms. Gremmel also does most of the questioning such as what you do for a living etc. Throughout the session she continously looks at the clock. I felt terrible for her as I believe she genuienly believes she has pyschic abilities so I stopped disagreeing, felt glad I hadn't scheduled an enitre hour, and even gave her a tip for her effort. read more
