My sister-in-law was getting married on a long holiday weekend, and just hours before the ceremony, we realized she didn't have a bouquet. Every shop in town was closed--and I was starting to panic. I pulled up to this shop even though it looked closed like the others, hoping for a miracle. And that's exactly what I got. Eva, the owner, happened to be there and kindly told me they were only taking special orders that day. I explained the situation and asked if she'd be willing to sell me a few flowers to make something small and meaningful. Not only did she say yes--she invited me inside, helped me choose the perfect stems, and even guided me through how to put the bouquet together. She took time out of her day to suggest flower combinations with sentimental value, gave me tips on how to tape and wrap the stems, and even told me where to find ribbon. And the best part? She didn't upcharge me for the last-minute request or her expert advice. I left with the most beautiful bouquet--and I don't think I paid more than $15.
