(unlike vets) they make easy conversations, they recognize frequent customers, they always get me where i need to go, ive never had a bad experience with them. It's only one driver, so not necessarily a representative sample. But can't recommend on basis of recent ride to airport. Driver reeked of cigarettes, and drove distractedly, scrolling on his phone throughout the drive to the airport, AT NIGHT! Very dangerous. read more

worst company in Saint John...dirty cars, dirty smelly drivers, car broke down...had to call a REAL taxi company to finish my fare. AVOID at all costs...walk, take a bus, take any other company...but avoid Diamond Taxi at all costs. read more

Not a reliable taxi service. Pre-booked for airport and it did not show - followed up with dispatch and taxi was 15-20mins away. I agree with the other posts. I would not recommend this company. read more

In the last year or so I have travel a lot for my job. I only live one and a half KM from the airport but I still use a taxi service to go to and from the airport. As Diamond taxi has the contract for the airport this is the taxi service I call.. My experience with Diamond Taxi has been less than pleasurable. The dispatch service personnel is unprofessional to the point of rudeness. I guess this would explain the unprofessional manner in which the drivers behave. Often their appearance is unkempt and the cars less than clean. During the times I have had to use Diamond taxi in the last year and a half the fee has never been the same, It has ranged from $7.50 to $30.00 that is travelling from the airport and to the airport depending on the driver..My latest experience is why I am writing this review. On Sunday December 10/17 I called to book a taxi for Monday December 11/17 for 7:30am at 7:40 I called Diamond taxi to ask where my cab was I was told in a very abrupt tone that the driver does have to drive from the city. I told him I understood that but he should have left earlier. Without saying good bye the dispatcher hung up the phone. A 7:50 I called Diamond taxi again to find out how far away the driver was and I was told that he was on his way and could not fly on slippery roads. I was ready to tell him again that he should have left earlier but he hung up before I could complete my sentence. At 8am I called the Diamond taxi yet again to find out where the cab was because at this point I was scared that I was going to miss my flight to be told that the driver would be there when he got there, I asked if he could call to see how far the car was and he did this while I was n the phone and he said the car was 5 minutes away and again promptly hung up on me. At 8:05 the taxi finally showed up, I went to put my bags in the back and the door was frozen so I asked the driver if he could help he told me to sit in the front to which I replied I cannot fit all my bags in the front with me. At this point he grab my suitcase and tried unsuccessfully to throw it in the back. As now I was rushed i just said lets go. On my return December 14/17 Diamond taxi was at the airport the driver asked where I was going when I told him my address he said I'm not driving there for less than $22-28 dollars. I said you should be using the meter and he said he doesn't have to use the meter because he had to come out 1/2 hour earlier to wait for the plane and that it was just a flat rate. I called dispatch again and was told that they have to charge $30 because the airport makes them,but the airport denies that. read more
