Haven't been to a world market in a long time since we lived in Atlanta. This one had quite an…read morearray of unique options. My favorite section is the snacks area so we headed straight there. You can always find the most eccentric and coolest things here. It ranges from strange chip flavors, to ramens, popcorn, crackers and some sweet options. I definitely left with a good variety of things to try. They even had a small German and Vietnamese section which I thought was cool. Outside of food they had out already Halloween decor, candles and other local goodies. They had a half off section of more snacks near check out so I also took advantage of that! Things are on the pricier end here but it's expected. Staff were friendly and assisted when I needed help finding something.

I got to admit, having lived across the US, I used to love Dean and Deluca (not sure if Summerville…read morehad one and if they still exist). The place had an upscale vibe to it with better than your grocery store type of food offerings and products. World Market kind of, sort of, not really but sort of fills a little of that void. It also has a certain Bed Bath and Beyond feel, geez anyone else these once great pillars of our shopping experience are gone? Anyways, World Market has a lot inventory and items for the home chef, as well as some Hoby Lobby type enthusiast. This particular store is in a safe part of town with plenty of parking and is very clean. Walking in, I mentioned all the other examples that seem to have an influence on this retailer. So, if any of them fit your liking, well this is the place for you! The reason I was in the store is to get some rare pasta shapes. Quick aside, I love different pasta shapes b/c they literally taste different b/c how they hit the pallet. Don't believe me? As a former chef, tell me macaroni and spaghetti taste the same, they don't! Anyways I was purchasing some principesse pasta (think fettuccini with the lasagna frills on the side, splendid). It's cut with a bronze dye which means it gives a rough texture, perfect for holding sauces and gripping the tongue rather than sliding off. I also picked up some German egg noodles (mini-lasagna) which look like pappardelle with ruffles. Besides online, this is the only local store that carries the shapes. Ok pasta course is over. They have a wide selection of interesting chips, wines, coffees, Asian drinks and ramen noodles, specialty candies and more things that I don't have time to discuss. In other words, this place offers products that you've probably never consider, which really will enhance your life. If you're there, steer clear of the Lindl gourmet truffles unless you have a deal with the belt b/c they're so darn good. I highly advise taking a moment to scan their spices and oils section as well. My only draw back is I wish they had a refrigerated section. While there, they have an interesting kitchen utensils section as well as creative dinnerware, not like those huge cheap places which have no character but only corporate uniformity. I rather liked a lot of their dishes and could envision myself with my pinky up eating crumpets and sipping noon tea! Now they have some furniture and stuff but to be perfectly honest I had no interest in their offerings so I can't speak to quality, price or selection, but it's there if you want to take a looksie. Finally, they are holiday influences so lets say it's Christmas time, they'll have a good amount of space dedicated to things like reefs, lights, ornaments, you name it. I think it's refreshing to have options out there to offset the mainstream. As far as prices, they're a little higher with good reason, it's not the normally created stuff. But at least the option is out there. To wrap up, the employees are nice and ring you up quickly while joyfully answering questions. They have an inventory of items unlike many other places making it a unique shopping experience. Furthermore, it's clean and safe which provides for a laid-back shopping experience. Drop on by, but avoid the upscale candy isle, your hips will thank me!

The pharmacy staff -- including the pharmacists and technicians -- are consistently professional, knowledgeable, and kind. A special thank you to the pharmacy manager, Jasper Wolfe, who truly goes above and beyond in managing my Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, Arthritis, and high cholesterol medications. He takes the time to carefully review my prescriptions, check for potential drug interactions, and provide thoughtful guidance on over-the-counter products. Jasper is always helpful, informative, caring, and compassionate. What stands out even more is how proactive he is in helping me save money. He searches for manufacturer's coupons and adds them directly to my profile so I can benefit from the savings. He helped me get the Veoyah card for my hot flashes. The prescription is $700 per month but with insurance, my monthly co pay is $75 per month. With Jasper's help my Veozah prescription costs me only $30per month. Today, Jasper helped me to save $25 on my Ozempic monthly prescription. In today's economy, that level of attention and care is deeply appreciated. The front store team is equally impressive. The employees are consistently positive and helpful, making sure I know about sales and reminding me when I can apply my ExtraBucks. The store itself is always clean, well-stocked, and welcoming. The front entrance is beautifully decorated with the latest holiday theme and live plants. Lottery is also sold at this location. There is plenty of parking in the front and the side of the store. This store also has a drive thru which is really helpful and convenient. This is hands down my favorite CVS store in South Carolina. I am grateful for the exceptional service and genuine care I receive every time I visit. I highly recommend. Staff is great, and we usually find what we're looking for without any issues. Some of the best things to pick up at Dollar Tree: mailing/shipping supplies, garden stuff in the spring, the box candy, and food storage. We love to browse the food section to see if there is anything fun to try, and even like to do Dollar Tree dinner challenges to try to save a little money. One heads up, this location does NOT have a freezer section like some Dollar Trees do, and that isn't a big deal to us, and no fault of the store itself. Definitely stop in, save yourself some money, and find something cool!

There were a few people in the store but it felt like the life was being drained from my body. I'd say most of the items are slightly discounted from that of larger retailers with generic brands too, however the savings aren't as large as I anticipated. The selection is very poor as the shelves weren't stocked. The facility, had very little unkept and products were all over the floor. For instance, two of the refrigerators were out of soda options and many shelves were bare as if they were desperately in need of a shipment to arrive. As for the employees, I was so disgusted I didn't bother getting anything, I just felt the overwhelming desire to leave as quickly as possible. Overall, this is Dollar Tree is by far a horrible place to stop by and I always try to be positive about some aspect, but I couldn't do it with this place. Avoid at all costs.

Walking in there isn't much that distinguish it from other discount stores but it's far from the worst (see my other likeminded reviews). The employees are pretty nice but extremely quiet and distracted. As for the cleanliness it falls back. There is stock laying around, junk on the floor and the shelves were poorly stocked. I understand having to restock shelves but as you can see in the pictures, this stuff has been laying around for a while and needs some TLC. What's more is it makes it difficult for those with health issues to navigate. As for the items they're a little behind on the trends. For instance, most other places a month or a little more before July 4th we would see flags and stuff, but not here, not yet. The atmosphere isn't drab but is far from cozy. I felt the urge to get in and out quickly. I can't state why it's just how my skin felt. That and I was disappointed that I couldn't find the item I was hunting for and I had to dig through the crap on the shelves. Overall, this is exactly what I would expect from a discount store, hence the reason I rarely go. I'm not sure when discount stores stopped giving discounts but isn't that the whole reason to stopping by!? The service is slow from people that would rather be elsewhere. At noon on a Sunday there's crap laying around everywhere as if someone will address it tomorrow or whenever. The place is safe but has an odd vibe. Since this isn't close to where I live, I don't see myself coming back.
