My wife and I recently visited a number of window showrooms in the Sacramento area. There are so many choices of window manufacturers on the market today. But the one that stood out among the rest for us was "Diamond Head Windows & Doors". They are located off of Sunrise Boulevard in Rancho Cordova. When we arrived, we were cheerfully greeted by the owner (Todd). He was happy too answer all of our questions and demonstrate the different types of windows in the showroom. There was no pressure to purchase what so ever. My wife was so impressed with Todd's experience & knowledge about windows that she made an appointment for Todd to come too the house right away ! We had 18 windows and an patio door replaced. The workmanship of the workers were amazing , plus his price's were very competitive. I highly recommend giving Diamond Head Window & Doors" a chance . "Special thanks" to Todd and crew for doing such an amazing job ! read more

I had 9 windows installed by Diamond Head Windows. From the initial quote to the finished job everyone I dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable and showed up on time. Bryan did a great job of explaining the product and getting a quote was pretty quick and easy. Come installation day, the installers arrived right on time and finished early. They also did a good job cleaning up before they left. Would definitely recommend Diamond Head to anyone looking for new windows. The windows function much better than my previous windows and should help keep my house cooler during the summer. read more

Company rep was professional, knew his business well and did not sales pressure me. With a product like theirs there was no reason to; I contacted them needing replacement windows and the samples and display spoke for themselves. Add financing options and it was a done deal. Installation was 1 day for 7 windows and a slider. The instant updated look to my home is worth it enough but I also have a far greater energy efficiency and security. Thank you Diamond Head read more

We were pleased with how helpful Bryan, the sales rep was with us. He did not pressure us. When the guys came to install they were fast and professional. I sure love my windows. read more

My experience with Diamond Head started with Joshua who did a walk up call. He explained about the windows, special offers completely going over the brochure. While talking to Joshua I pulled my door closed as we were talking outside. After deciding to make an appointment for estimate I realized my door was locked. Joshua hoped over my fence (no way I can) as my slider was unlocked, he came through and opened the door for me. The next step was an appointment with sales rep Bryan H to come give a demonstration and extimate. He was a little late for the appointment but called to explain why. No problem there. He did the demonstration answering all questions as we went along. Before signing the contract he made measurements of all 12 windows and slider in oder to give an estimate. After signing the contract he explained that Peter would be contacting me for actual measurements. Peter called and set up an appointment to measure to order the windows. Estimated delivery time was between November 30 and December 30. Due to rain the installers were unable to install during the estimated time frame. However once they were able to get to the house they completed the job in 2 days as promised. The windows look great inside and out! There is a little paint touchup needed inside but I expected that since they had to re-frame several of the windows. What a difference in the heating of my home. No cold leaks!! Thank you Diamond Head for a great job! Cindy B read more

It's been a couple of weeks since we had our windows installed and we could not be happier. Our entire experience was great. Bryan came for the consultation and boy was he prepared. Previous company's had just blown through, took measurements and said they would get back to us. Which often took weeks. Bryan brought actual windows for us to see, showed us how it would help with the heat and cold and had a quote (far below others I might add)before he left. Sign us up. Peter came out and did another more precise measurement and set up an install date. On install day we were told they would be done in one day (17 windows including two very large 8' & 9' picture windows and a second floor slider). They showed up on time and ready to go. By days end we had new windows and sliding door and very little evidence they had even been here. I can not recommend these people enough. They did what they said they would and we are very happy. read more

We just used Diamond Head Windows and Doors and we were very happy with the people as well as the quality of work. We did have a small issue but the team at Diamond Head Windows and Doors stepped up to resolve the issue. Starting with Neil the sales rep, Dave, Maka and Jake the installers and to the Business office person Janine. All great people and a pleasure to work with. We have more windows to do and will use them in the future. We will also recommend our Friend and Family as well. Thank you and Aloha, Michael and Jennifer read more

We had a slight problem with our installation and timely manner to complete the project. But Thank You to Jorge he corrected all issues and made sure we were happy with the completed job. I had previously post a unsatisfactory review and would like everyone to know, go to Jorge he makes the customer happy! My windows are beautiful! Thank You Jorge at Diamond Head Windows read more

This company is the worst. It started with the salesman lying to me when the project could be completed. I told him what my deadline was and was assured they could make that date. Needless to say THEY DID NOT!!!! On top of that when they did call to make the appointment to install the front door and upstairs windows; they did not come at that time or date. They came the next day and I was originally told the job would take three days, then two, then they decided to do the entire job in one day! That did not work out very well. I will say the two guys doing the installation were very nice and worked hard. The Company that manufactured my front door did not send all the parts. They were supposed to send them to me in the mail. That was two months ago. I have left six messages with no return call. I would NOT recommend them to anyone!!! read more

Overall, our experience with Diamond Head Windows was very positive. It began with Bryan H., who in this case was our sales rep and was very friendly and responsive to our questions and concerns. He was also patient with us as we went through our process for vetting service providers who contact us via door-to-door solicitation (we always check Angie's List, and do other research to make sure a company is as good as they claim). It only took a few short hours to view Bryan's presentation, get his quote for the work we wanted done, complete our research, and sign the contract with peace of mind. After Bryan left we decided to change how we financed the windows and received excellent service from Cheryl F. when we called Diamond Head. She helped us make the change we required and promptly sent us the revised contract. When the revised contract arrived, there was clear instruction from Cheryl as to what we needed to do to complete the process. Next, Peter T. scheduled a time to come and measure for the windows. He was easy to schedule with and very helpful when we decided to make a change to one of our windows. Once the windows order arrived at the warehouse, we scheduled installation with Peter and a few weeks later the installation crew arrived - right on time. The three guys on the installation crew were very efficient, and clearly knew what they were doing, however this is the only portion of the process where we have any complaints. First, there are several window sills that were damaged and some of the plaster texture and paint was scraped off. I am not too concerned with this as I know our original window openings were not very square, and a quick painting to the sills will fix most of the scrapes. Next, the installation crew has a policy to try and touch nick-knacks and breakables as little as possible, which means they will move them for installation, but leave it to the home-owner to put them back. This is perfectly reasonable to me, however there were several pieces of furniture that were moved and not put back after the crew was done for the day, and it was my understanding all furniture would be put back into place. Luckily, they weren't BIG pieces of furniture and I was able to move them back myself, but for a mom of a 5 year old and 1 year old, this extra post-installation clean-up was not appreciated. Overall, these issues are not a big deal and wouldn't preclude me from choosing this experience again. Our last experience thus far, has been again with Peter T. The sliding glass door lock mechanism was catching, and one of the windows had a few sticking points making it difficult to open and close. Peter came out, and adjusted the window track so that now it opens and closes with ease. The sliding door lock was a little more work, but Peter quickly replaced the locking mechanism and now it also works great. We absolutely love our new windows and they look great! More importantly to us - they are good quality and we have noticed a difference in noise and heat transference. We know we are saving energy as well, since the air conditioner comes on considerably less and we are able to keep our house cool during these 100+ degree days, where before our air conditioner struggled and failed to adequately cool our home. All said, we are happy with the products and service provided by Diamond Head Windows and recommend them to others. read more

This place is a joke! I received a follow-up call saying that they had been purchased by Sierra Pacific and they knew I didn't have a good experience previously. Asked if we could make an appointment so they could make it up and provide us with a quote. I decided I'd give them a second chance. Arranged a date/time and AGAIN they were a no-show without even a call to apologize. What an absolutely unprofessional company. Again, if they can't even bother to show up for an appointment, why would I think they would show up if a problem arose from their install? read more

RE-POSTING MY REVIEW BECAUSE IT WAS FLAGGED "NOT RECOMMENDED" BY YELP! ---------------------------- From March 13, 2015: We LOVE our new windows! Diamond Head's customer service is incredible....from the initial contact visit to the sales rep, the installers, and the office staff. I'm one of those skeptics who researches something for at least 6 months before purchase and Diamond Head did not disappoint! Our Amerimax windows are absolutely gorgeous! The new slider really opens up our living room, the installers did an amazing job adding new moulding inside and out. Our home is stucco and I was concerned about how the new windows would look yet as soon as I saw the first window installed I was absolutely impressed and set at ease. We replaced all of our front and side windows as well as switch out the old French doors to the beautiful 6 foot slider. The window replacements included a large front window (84"), a transom window, and one window with the extreme tint option (garage). The installers were very clean and professional, they took special care to properly handle our new blinds (they took them down, and put them all back exactly as they were), covered our laminate floors so as not to get dirty, and moved/put back our furniture when finished. Our sales rep was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the product, the office staff was great with following up prior to and after to ensure our satisfaction. I highly recommend Diamond Head, they were easy to work with, flexible, reliable and they are very well priced...truly top-notch customer service and product. Thank you Diamond Head! read more

My experience with Diamond Head Window and the owner Todd has been a nightmare. We ordered windows back in March 2018. I started calling after 6 weeks because I had not heard from them regarding my windows being in and ready for install. They finally came for installation in May. The windows had grids that looked nothing like I had been shown for an example. My new windows looked like prison bars. I was not happy. I made several calls to Diamond Head and was told someone would call me back. No calls back! I sent e-mails that got no response. Finally after almost a month I got a call from the owner's wife. They would swap out my windows, but at additional cost. It was about 6 weeks again before I heard back to set an installation date. When the owner came to install, there was one window missing. Another window had a sticker on the inside grid. He told me he would have the manufacture replace that window for me. he said he would be back in a few weeks with the other window and the replacement for the window with the sticker. Several weeks went by again. When he showed back up, he did not have the replacement window for the sticker. He said it was the manufacturer's responsibility to replace it. The missing window replacement was only half right. He switched out half the window with the new replacement and left the other half the old window with all the bars. He left saying the manufacturer would be responsible to complete this mismatched window because the error was theirs. WRONG, they were mis-ordered by Diamond Head. This was unacceptable. I had been extremely patient with this whole mess. I had to make the calls to Amarimax (the manufacturer) myself. I explained everything I had been through. They were great. They must have got ahold Todd (Diamond Head's owner). He showed up with-in 2 weeks to finish changing out the last half of the window. I was hoping this was the end of dealing with this company. In Citrus Heights you are required to get a permit for retro-fit windows. I had to arrange the final inspection myself. The inspector wouldn't pass my windows because the contractor, Diamond Head Windows, were supposed to get a mid-install inspection to make sure the original frame was still intact before putting on the trim. He said that Diamond Head needed to come remove one side of trim from my new sliding glass doors so they could come back to re-inspect. Then they should be responsible to replace the trim piece. Here I am, 2 weeks later. I cannot get Todd to return my calls or texts. He sold his Citrus Heights location recently. I have called the new owners who have been trying to reach Todd to resolve this. He is not getting back to them either. He still has his widow business in Hawaii. NO WAY WOULD I RECOMMED this company to anyone!!! read more

Outstanding. We had 14 Amerimax vinyl windows installed replacing all of our metal frame windows. The quality of the windows is exceptional. The value cannot be beat. The installers were professional. I have a small toddler and I am concerned about the language contractors often use on the job. No issues here. These installers were the best we've seen. Don't waste your time with the mega-companies that you hear advertised on the radio. read more

We have had our windows for about a month now and we are so happy that we did! The service was wonderful and after ordering our windows came within a few weeks. We can now sit in our front room that was always too hot due to the afternoon sun coming in. Both of my daughters love their new windows as they can sleep with the windows open due to the locks that are on them and feel safe. Thank you Diamond Head Windows and Doors!! read more

They did out doors a few years back. We got an awesome front door with a speak easy painted just the way we wanted. We also got a couple of security doors. The installers were polite and professional. The office staff were awesome and responsive too. I would recommend this company if you want great doors and windows. read more

I can not say enough good things about this company. We were not planning on getting our windows replaced for a few years, but when their representative knocked our door, we thought we would try a meeting. Byron was FANTASTIC, and it was obvious from the start that this was a good company. I was never rushed, even when Byron came out multiple times to edit my requests. Peter was quick and as another reviewer said, he measures flawlessly! The installation was a dream. Anthony was extremely professional and attended to every detail. I have never seen a better installed window. I don't imagine I will ever need to use it, but the companies warranty is amazing. I am so happy we found this company. It might be smaller, but the family type crew is spectacular! read more

We purchased 15 windows for our home. Their sales rep, Bryan, gave us a very competitive estimate and was able to secure no interest financing, we were not pressured into buying. Peter did an outstanding job in measuring our windows so that when the installers came out they were able to install the windows effortlessly. Anthony and his co-workers did a great job on the installation. They were very experienced and knowledgeable and managed to get the job done in two days. The Amerimax windows we purchased are of excellent quality and we are enjoying how they improved the look and efficiency of our home both inside and out. The Amerimax Rep came out and made a few adjustments on some windows and they all now work flawlessly. I would happily recommend Diamond Head and Amerimax to anyone interested in replacing their windows. read more

These guys are great! Professional, quick, and they beat the competitors by a lot. I also loved that if we weren't satisfied, they would come out and fix it until we were. We haven't had any problems, and the windows and door we had replaced have made such a difference to the temperature on our second floor. I will 100% recommend them to anyone looking for windows or doors! read more

Took 4 calls and 4 confimed appointment and they decided not to come. The last guy decided it was not worth his time to even to come give an estimate because i could not tell him that i purchase the window before i actually got the quote. I would be scared if you have an issue with the work to get anyone to come repair it. read more

We had 28 Amerimax windows installed by Diamond Head and the total experience was outstanding. Todd, Cheryl, and Peter were great to work with on the front end. On installation day Anthony and Serg showed up on time and were very efficient and professional. Anthony's installation work is A+. His attention to detail is duly noted and acknowledged. Anthony is a master at his trade and we were fortunate to have him be the lead installer. After the install we received a follow up call from Cheryl to make sure we were satisfied and everything was in working order. We are 100% satisfied with DH and would recommend Amerimax and DH to anyone looking for window replacement. We are appreciative of DH business practices in today's market, thank you DH. read more

We are delighted with our new Amerimax windows and doors installed in April 2015! As promised, the house is much cooler and quieter. You can stand right next to a sunny window on a hot day and barely feel any heat. All the doors and windows operate smoothly and quietly, and have secure locks. The installers were very pleasant, courteous and efficient, and the job was done and cleaned up without a trace of construction mess in two days. I feel that this was a very worthwhile investment in our home, and I highly recomment Diamond Head Windows and Doors and the Amerimax products. read more

We had 29 windows replaced in our home by Diamond Head Windows. We choose them over 5 different companies. We had a "funky" garden window problem which all 5 other window companies would not tackle, but Peter came up with a solution and the outcome is beyond our expectations! The quality their product is superior, and they offered more options with the best price. The installation team was professional and the job was completed as planned, even with the problem garden window. We experience noticeable noise reduction from outside and more comfortable temperatures inside. We've had many compliments on the look of our new windows. We highly recommend Diamond Head for window replacement. read more

My husband and I purchased 19 Windows for our home with diamond head Windows and doors, and we couldn't be happier!!! Our sale representative was thorough and gracious as he demonstrated the effectiveness of triple pane Windows and really took the time to answer all of our questions. The gentlemen that installed our Windows did an outstanding job, and we have received nothing but compliments from our neighbors and people passing by. We have been amazed at how much of a difference in climate, energy efficiency, and the overall volume of sound in our home since our new window installation. Our PG&E bill is lower than its ever been, and we owe it all to our new Windows. I will recommend this company to all of our friends and family, and I encourage people to check this company out if you are entertaining the idea of upgrading the windows in your home!!!! I had a excellent experience with Diamond Head. A sales rep, Bryan Harrell, was so patient with my husband and I. I felt like I was being a difficult customer but Bryan didn't make us feel like that at all. When the guys installed the windows, they were very nice and professional. I work from home, and they quickly installed my office window. I'm glad I got my new windows at such a great price. read more

So we were first approached by a non-pushy street marketer for Diamond Head Windows and Doors. After speaking with him, we scheduled an appointment. We met with the sales representative at the scheduled appointment time. Very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Second appointment was set and made and once again we were contacted on time and business was taken care of as promised. Our windows were ordered and date for install was made. The installers arrived early, a whole day, but that was okay and they promptly got started. They were courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Two days for 18 windows as promised. The windows look awesome. I work outside in the heat all day and I arrived home the day after the windows were installed and I actually thought the wife had ran the A/C. Nope, just great replacement windows, providing a huge difference and cooler inside my house. We can actually open our blinds and see the outside world!!! Windows are beautiful, clean and sharp looking!!! We are 110% satisfied. Today, I watched a person get out of their car and grab a brochure from our lawn sign. I really wished I could have spoken with her and showed her the end result of a great product. I would definitely recommend Diamond Head Windows and Doors for not only a great replacement window but solely based on a great overall experience including a friendly staff and install team! read more
