Stay away! I would NOT recommend buying your jewelry from here! Horrible customer service. I had picked out a diamond for my fiancé's engagement ring and when I had come back to finalize and purchase, i have reason to believe that the diamond had been switched with a lower quality one. I was able to tell by looking through the microscope and I could clearly tell this was not what I had originally wanted. The diamond dealer, Major, eventually told me he might have "accidentally" sold the original diamond to someone else. Also, i was not given any certification for the diamond which obviously led me to believe that something wasn't right. I was forced to pick another diamond but I probably should have walked away from the beginning.. After being told that the new diamond and engagement ring would be ready to pick up within 2 weeks, I had to wait a month later and was told that it would be a couple more weeks until I would receive it! That's 6 weeks in total but had originally been told it would be 2 weeks. I had enough and decided to take my business elsewhere. The two that work here/owners, Sandy and Major, are extremely unprofessional and you get a sense of poor business ethics from these two. In terms of customer service, Major has no sense of business ethics and is a total clown. Also, if you think you will be saving money by buying your diamonds from here, think again. The price of the diamond they give you has been inflated before you are able to 'negotiate' a deal. You would be better off buying elsewhere and getting a better quality diamond for the same amount or less than you would spend here. Save your money, save your time. This company and the owners/employees are a complete joke. read more

Shopping here was a Dreadful experience. The store and particularly the staff (Major and Sandy), do not posses the prestige, customer service and class that you would expect when making a very expensive and significant purchase from a jewellery store. The following is based on my experience while shopping for a diamond engagement ring at Diamond Deals Jewellery. Pros: N/A Cons: -I was shown a poor selection of diamonds, majority of which were very dull and unappealing - I had requested to find diamonds that were clean to the naked eye but was not shown any. I felt they push inventory that they are unable to sell to other customers. -Required to pay 500 dollar deposit before being able to view any diamonds you are interested in. -Awful customer service: They were never on time for scheduled appointments. Unreliable: I put a diamond on hold with a deposit for 48 hours so I could show a friend and get a second opinion. Within 14 hours, the diamond was no longer available to sell and I was not given much details as to why this was. Calls and messages were never returned. Very pushy and pressure you into buying something you are reluctant on purchasing. -Lack of professionalism: They did not provide me with accurate information for the many diamonds I was shown. i.e. Some diamonds were not accompanied with a diamond certificate or diamond report, making it hard to tell exactly what it is that you are looking at. Lastly, diamond deals jewellery will charge you a hidden fee if you use your credit card for your purchase. Be aware of this and educate yourself before even considering to shop here. I would not refer anyone to diamond deals jewellery. read more

We met with several wholesalers in Vancouver. Major was nice, but there were several red flags during our meeting. Major was the only broker who tried to sell me a ridiculously overpriced EGL diamond. Every other broker strongly advised me to stay away from EGL and only buy GIA. You are not getting a "good deal" with EGL. You are only paying more for an inferior diamond. Major thumbed his nose at GIA I and J colored diamonds and said he won't even order J's - but he WILL order inferior EGL diamonds? Ok. In an attempt to sell me on a higher color grade, he presented a laughable comparison of diamond colors. You cannot adequately compare color in two diamonds with such a huge size difference (he showed me a 2.5 carat J and around 0.75 carat D). He also failed to disclose the diamonds specs or grading reports, so I really had no idea what I was looking at. Two other places I went to also did color comparisons - except with diamonds of the exact same carat size and cut. He made some alarming statements about how all GIA labs are not the same and he orders his diamonds from Belgium so somehow they are superior. He also said he is the only one who will bring in 3 diamonds for only a $500 deposit. The broker I ended up going with brought in diamonds for me to look at with no deposit required. Word of advice: do your own research. read more

We recently purchased our wedding/engagement rings from Diamond Deals and we are thankful to the team @ Diamond Deals for guiding and informing us throughout the whole process. My husband designed my engagement ring, I'll admit I was a little apprehensive about being in the dark with regards to my ring. Sandy contacted me for my general likes and dislikes when it came to jewellery, she communicated this with my husband and together they created a beautiful 3 carat ring surrounded with canary yellow diamonds. It is absolutely stunning. When it came to my husbands ring, the process was simple, DD ensured that his ring would include enough white and canary diamonds to compliment my own ring. Our engravings still make me emotional to this day, the wedding planning process can be exhausting and stressful at times and I am thankful to the DD team for ensuring our experience was enjoyable and easy. We will be making our next jewellery purchase here because of the good relationship we have established with this store. I would highly recommend this store. read more

I had the best experience here. My now fiancé - yahhh - had heard about this place from a bunch of friends who had also bought their rings at Diamonds Deals. We couldn't be happier with the experience. All I had was a picture and I knew I wanted a round stone. Major thoroughly explained the important factors in purchasing a diamond and showed me a few different examples. He was personable, professional and super helpful. I showed him my picture and he explained how he could improve upon it and showed me examples of ring settings. We were able to customize the perfect ring. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my ring. I couldn't be happier. My fiancé couldn't be happier with the price as he paid WAYYYY less than retail. The only issue we had was a slight size adjustment which was adjusted in 2 days. From service to pricing to expertise we found Diamond Deals to know exactly what they were talking about and did everything to make you happy. I would recommend going to diamond deals for an engagement ring or wedding bands. read more

I wanted to upgrade my original diamond to 1 Karat. Both Sandy and Major helped me pick out a beautiful 1 Karat Diamond and they helped me create a gorgeous wedding set. With the advice from Sandy and Major I was able to use my princess diamonds from my original band in the new band that was created. With my original diamond from my engagement ring we created a new ring with a beautiful Halo setting. I absolutely LOVE BOTH of my rings!!! I really appreciated the fact that they were honest with me regarding my original stones. I have had my diamond for over 12 years and the prices in diamonds decreased in value since that time. They advised that I not sell the diamond because I would be losing a lot of money. I was very grateful for their honesty, and am so happy that I still have my original diamonds, sentimental value. I would highly recommend Diamond Deals for unique and beautiful jewelry, and above all great customer service and outstanding professionalism!!! read more

My husband and I bought our rings from Sandy a few years ago. They still look amazing. My husband wanted me to pick my own engagement ring so I dealt with Sandy directly. I had decided on two different styles for my ring, but could not decide which one I wanted. Sandy was very patient with me and gave me great advice on the various types of diamonds and styles. She was also very honest with her opinions. She helped me make the right decision and years later, I still LOVE my rings! I have also bought other diamond jewellery from her and I have always received many compliments on my rings and jewellery. Since then, I have recommended Sandy to several of my friends who have all bought their wedding and engagement rings from Sandy and Major and they absolutely love them! I have no hesitation in recommending Sandy and Major to give you exactly what you want. They will get to know you and your wants and desires and will create the perfect piece of jewellery for you. read more

I had an idea of what I wanted for my engagement ring but had a difficult time finding it. Fortunately my fiancé's sister referred us to Diamond Deals where I was able to work with a broker, named Sandy to create my vision. I went in for my first appointment to essentially describe what I wanted and view their selection of rings. My second appointment was to view diamonds and was very helpful because I learned about what I should be looking for, which made it easier to compare multiple stones. Overall the service was great, as Sandy was attentive and a lot of fun to work with. Buying an engagement ring is a big deal and is an expensive purchase, which is why I was so pleased to have found a store that happily answered my questions and provided me with a very reasonable price. This place deserves two thumbs up. read more

Diamond deals has been our go-to for beautiful custom made jewelry for over 6 years now. We we're first introduced to sandy through my sister and brother in law as they purchased their wedding rings through them. We're quite picky when it comes to designing jewelry and want to make sure things look perfect and Sandy always patiently answers all of our questions throughout the entire process. You can see that she is passionate about what she does and she truly wants to help you achieve the perfect piece, whether it's earrings or an engagement ring. She does it all with precision and care. We've had a few pieces designed through her and will continue to do so as we can't imagine going anywhere else. Thanks Diamond Deals for always making sure we're happy with our purchase! read more

We made our first purchase from Diamond Deals almost six years ago. We worked with the team to design an eternity band which turned out to be absolutely stunning! The quality and craftsmanship exceeded my expectations and most importantly the team listened and delivered to all the specifications (square vs circular setting all around, size of setting and stones). The customer service and quality is what keeps us coming back to the Diamond Deals team. We have since referred many family and friends to Diamond Deals and love seeing all the custom designed pieces especially when heirloom stones and gems are used - amazing to see the conversion of these stones and gems into timeless and classy pieces. Keep up the great work Diamond Deals! read more

So I had no idea where to start but asking some friends around I was told to go to Diamond Deals Jewellery. I wanted to get something custom made as my girlfriend had given me a picture of a ring she loved last year and I had saved it. Diamond Deals was able to custom make exactly what I was looking for. I made an appointment and met with Sandy. She was genuinely excited and went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with my ring. I had a custom design that I had in mind and they made it exactly the way I wanted it to be. And the price? Amazing. I wouldn't have gotten that price elsewhere. I'll be recommending anyone that comes to me for advice on jewelry to go to Diamond Deals Jewellery read more

I have bought a lot of my jewellery from Diamond Deals. My husband bought me diamond earrings from them and a breath taking white gold bangle embedded with diamonds. My recent purchase was for my one year old daughter. A gorgeous necklace with her Initial in Diamond's. I showed Major a picture of the necklace I wanted and they duplicated it perfectly.Customer service is just great. Major and Sandy actually listen to you which is breath of fresh air. Other jewellery stores I have been to are very pushy and just want a sale. That is my biggest pet peeve. I would recommend Diamond Deals to all my friends and family. Thank you Major and Sandy :-) Cant wait for my next purchase. read more

I was looking to purchase diamond studs and after shopping around at many stores, I ended up going to Diamond Deals. They had a great selection to choose from and I ended up getting a pair of customized studs that were exactly what I was looking for. Sandy was very helpful in picking out the right size, style, etc. based on what I had told her my vision was and not pushy at all which made me feel more at ease. The best part was that it was at a price that couldn't be beat by any of the other stores I had gone to. Based on my great experience with Diamond Deals, I would definitely go back and refer them to anyone I know looking to purchase diamonds! read more

I recently got married and knew nothing about diamonds so I did my research and shopped around comparing prices and quality. After our consultation with Major my husband and myself felt a lot more comfortable with the process. I highly recommend Diamond Deals. They are friendly, knowledgably, easy to work with, and deliver the best price and diamond. I love my ring, it turned out better than I imaged! I have referred many of my friends, and have heard back nothing but positive things. I am currently in the process of a custom diamond earring order and cannot wait to see them. I found my diamond store and am very pleased :) read more

I stumbled upon this store while getting ideas for a ring. So professional and extremely knowledgeable about diamonds and patient with my hundreds of questions :) I have nothing else to say other than the fact that I would recommend you to every single person I know, and trust that you would do just as amazing on their rings as you did on mine. Thanks again for making my dream ring (I know cliche, but I really have no other way to describe it loll). See you guys in a few months for wedding band designs! Nothing but smiles. Thanks a lot! read more

I had heard about this store from a co- worker and I am definitely glad that I checked it out. I found shopping around for my engagement ring to be very stressful and so I just wanted to go somewhere trustworthy and efficient. The staff at the Vancouver location were friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I worked with a broker named Sandy who made the ring buying process super easy. I described what I wanted and gave her a budget, and she literally took care of the rest. My ring turned out beautiful, thanks again Sandy! read more

We purchased a ring from Sandy a few months back and couldn't be happier. My fiance initially wanted a more expensive Diamond but Sandy was able to find a higher quality yet more cost effective option. She could have sold us the more expensive option but took an honest approach, unlike the experience we had at Birks! We appreciated the honesty and it will go a long way in creating credibility. Keep up the good work, and we will see you again. read more

I found Diamond Deals to be extremely helpful. I had no clue about diamonds but both Major and Sandy are very knowledgeable and helped me through the process. I had shopped around at a few stores and definitely found the best price at Diamond Deals. I would recommend Diamond Deals for anyone looking for an elegant piece of diamond jewellery. read more

Its funny how your response to every negative review is "we have been targeted by a competitor". I assure you that I was one of your customers. Of course, I'm using an alias, you have all my personal info; it would be dumb to use my real name. My experience with you guys was awful. Nothing you can do now or say can re mediate that. read more
