This is a nice barber shop to visit, plus they have a salon in the back. The shop owner and master barber is Vincent. I have followed Vincent around for years, and he always delivers an excellent haircut. If you need a haircut on one of his days off, he will be happy to come in. (Of course it will cost you extra.) The rest of the staff is great. They are friendly and will deliver a great haircut with a great conversation. Plus they have WiFi, TV, and vending machines. read more

Never take your child here. My son's dad insists on taking him here because of some barber loyalty code or rule just because it's where he used to go. I live in Greensboro but was in Garner to work with my client. I took him to Diamond Cutz this morning and I was pleasantly surprised. I had prepared myself for a long boring wait and that was not the case. The wait time was less than 15minutes, the prices were good and the Barbers were very friendly. Gerald Jarrett, Jr. took care of my client. He was friendly, patient, kind and most of all professional. Not to mention a good barber. The relationship you have with your barber is truly something special. Coming here made me realize that right away. I live in Charlotte, but come home to garner for the summer. My barber in Charlotte is amazing, and I have never had a problem with him. He really does quality work and even if I have an issue he quickly resolves it and or gives me a discount. Since I cannot drive to Charlotte for a haircut in the summer I decided to try diamond cuts. I was seen by the younger man in the first chair to the left once you walk in (I believe his name is Q). I asked for a bald fade like I do all the time and I expected no different from him. This barber gave me the sorriest attempt at a fade I have ever seen. I was on the brink of asking him to stop but once the hair is gone there is nothing you can do so I let him finish. He proceeded to ask me "are you going to the army" which I assume was him trying to justify this attempt of a haircut. He is an embarrassment to this organization, which was recommend to me by many of my friends. I can't speak on any of the other barbers so I assume they are better than him. This is a very professional and clean shop. 7 black barbers, all skilled in their own ways. Expect some good music, good barbershop conversation, and a sports game on the TV. My wife took my son to get a cut she got there at 1:45 and left at 3:30 with 2 ppl in front of her for the barber Black she was trying to support ....my son came home with corners and hairline was cut tooo far back and he has cuts from the clippers all around his forehead sides and back...i mean it looks so crazy after she said she asked him not to push his hairline back and my son confirm she told him ....now my son has to walk around with a jacked up haircut/line while we let it grow back in?????Never sending him back or referring here because of poor work you should be ashamed to let a customer walk out of this establishment looking like this read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I left with the haircut of a women from an uneducated asshole that did not listen to a word I said. I was so shocked about the state of my hair that I left without saying a word. I immediately went strait to a girlfriend that has never cut hair in her life and she made it 10x better. I repeat, this place is absolutely awful! I was the only Caucasian in there and could feel myself being scrutinized, judged, and getting a completely, possibly, purposefully AWFUL haircut. I took my son to get his haircut one morning for picture day at school. Great guys, very professional and nice. Not too long of a wait time. They have tv on in waiting room, comfy chairs, and vending machines. Make sure to take cash, if you use debit card it costs extra. Hence 4 starts instead of 5. read more
