I wish I would've read the reviews before taking my car to this place. Elio seem nice at first promising that my car was going to come out show quality. I was referred to him by a friend who worked with him. I had brought in my 1973 Ford mustang in August 2009. No it's 2020. Till this day he Has given me nothing but false promises in my car is almost ready. He finished the candy paint job in 2012, Did not know how to rebuild the car. He lost most of the car parts and used some of my parts to use them on other cars he was fixing. The paint has started to crack and not to mention the chrome on the motor, rims and trim have been damaged. Do not trust this man, he is a crook, a liar, and a thief. I made the mistake of paying him Upfront before he finished the vehicle. Now I am out $7500 and nothing to show for a car that looks like junk. read more

SUPER SUPER SUPER disappointed with this unprofessional body shop. I was recommended through a friend who has been going to this body shop for years and knows Elio personally. Took my vehicle to get estimated here to see how much the cost to repair the vehicle would be and at first everything was fine but I should have known better. Elio was too nice.. and everything was verbal, he said he would not charge me storage fees and would "help" me with the estimate so that the insurance could that there really was a lot of damage on the vehicle because my vehicle was clearly a total loss. That was not the case. In the end when my insurance decided it was not a total loss, Elio turned out to be his true self and was very aggressive with his tone when I told him that I would not be fixing my car here and with everything he told me verbally that he would not charge well in the end he did. He was holding my vehicle hostage until I payed the $1,100 in storage fees that he said he wouldn't charge me. When the tow truck came to pick up my vehicle and take it to another body shop, these UNPROFESSIONAL INCONSIDERATE people just stuffed all my vehicle parts INSIDE my car and ruined my interior! Now guess who has to pay to get new interior when I return my lease, me. So please if you're reading this make sure you look for other body shops and if you do decide on this body shop make sure everything is in writing. read more

Jose is the owner of this company. He contacted me on Yelp after I inquired about mobile dent repair. I live in Santa Clarita, the quotes I received in this area are more than double his prices while most of them did not offer painting unless they replaced the entire bumper. So I called around outside the San Fernando valley and towards the LA area, knowing that the prices were going to be a lot lower than Santa Clarita and Santa Fernando valley areas. And sure enough Jose at Diamond Coats was not the only one with lower prices but he was one of the very few with high ratings. After he realized that I lived over an hour away from his main office location. I suggested to have him meet me halfway, to my clients residence where I would be working there for the day. PLEASE READ: I was involved in a hit and and run at a stop sign and I didn't have comprehensive collision on my car and because they fled the scene the insurance wouldn't pay. It was very stressful getting quotes all that I couldn't afford right away. He helped me save money straight away because I was going to order the bumper online but because of my Pearl White it wouldn't have matched . He ordered my bumper for me at a better price and custom matched my bumper to match the rest of the car because my car is a 2008 and the sun has faded the paint some . He gave me such a great deal I was shocked! After getting expensive quotes from 3 other body shops Elio came recommended by a good friend of mine who has had a couple of his cars repaired there. I called Elio and sent him a photo of the area of my car that required repair. He called me back shortly and gave me a quote that was 40% less than the lowest quote I had received. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about the low price but still decided to bring my car to Diamond Coats based on my friend's experience. Other places also told me it would take them anywhere from 3-5 days to get my repair done, while Elio promised me 2 days, and 3 being the longest if necessary. I dropped off my car to his shop, was going to Uber my way back, and he was so nice to offer me a ride to where I needed to be! My car was ready at the time promised, and his guys did an awesome job.
