Four years ago, I would have given this place a good five stars. Everyone was professional and pleasant to converse with and discuss your progress with. I would even say the orthodontist who worked on my teeth did a spectacular job. Today, I would say this place has done a 180. They wanted to charge me FULL price, a whole $5000 to start all over again after only two years of not wearing a retainer. My teeth are nowhere near what they were when I first went there 6 years ago. The ortho I spoke with was aggressive and rude, with her tone when she pointed out that I hadn't come in for a visit since 2023. I will not be returning to this location at all. I am optimistic I will find better treatment elsewhere. read more

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. I had to sue them because they gave me poorly made retainers that caused my teeth to shift. They are rude and disrespectful. The office experience is poor, the materials they advertise from Insvisalign are FALSE. Took my daughter here for braces and still getting treatment now .The quality of care she receives is above average and the treat her just like family if there's any questions she has they answer with no problem. Her treatment is suppose to end next year for back to school if she stays on track. We can see the results from have the braces I would recommend them for any person especially teenagers. WORST place to ever get your braces done . After paying thousands of dollars out of pocket for my braces because they would not take my insurance I am still not happy with my smile. One of the orthodontist who worked there recommended me get build ups for two of my teeth which would cost an extra $300 dollars for each tooth. I agreed, believing that they had my best interest and wanted me to have a perfect smile. Turns out, the build ups they did were completely sloppy and fell out multiple times in a span of a couple months. Now, I after going to the actual dentist I have been told that whoever did my build ups (diamond braces) did a TERRIBLE job and I will eventually have to get veneers. This is unacceptable and shows how money hungry their business is . I will never recommend ANYONE to go here . Not even my worst enemy. read more

Warning: 1. checking on hidden fee before you sign paper service contract, because they won't tell you. 2. Asking for a copy of contract, scan results and other materials. 3. When there's a problem, asking for email reply instead of having them call you. So you will have evidence via email. If there is a negative star option, I would give one. The experience is so far very unexpected. The employees' attitude, constantly changing doctors/turn overs, service result, management and communications were rude and questionable. Service is not professional--one technician spent an hour to put my attachments on, she attempted 5 times and failed. Later a doctor came and helped her. Things like this add up. The company's internal communication also negatively affected my teeth correction progress. I spent too much patience to repeat myself regarding complaining my experience and acquiring solutions with 6 different employees. Still waiting for a resolution. It's been several months already. Really disappointing experience.  Diamond Braces in North Bergen.   Teeth straightening is a luxury in our family, but I made the sacrifice and set aside $3000 for Invisalign for my 13 year old daughter.   The experience - which began at the end of 2020 - started out great.  The dentist spoke to me / my daughter, showed images of her teeth and plan and did initial scans for the first 12+ weeks of treatment.  They gave clear instructions to my daughter and me that she was to wear the aligners for 12 weeks, 24 hours daily and come in at that point to review and get the next box.   The 12 week appointment fell in the middle of the pandemic and only my daughter was allowed (without me) to see the dentist.  She was given the same instruction and asked to commit to an appointment that they made with her directly (my 13 year old who has no idea about my work schedule or commitments).  Didn't send her out with an appointment card or written instructions that I could view - only a reminder to call and pay the bill for the month.  She wore the aligners for 24 hours daily, only removing to eat, with my constant reminders of how much I was paying for this luxury. The 24 week appointment came along - again, I was not allowed in to the appointment due to restrictions - I was, however, allowed to come to the lobby to make payments.  She was again, sent out with an appointment (set on a date without my consultation).  At this appointment, my daughter was told that the next set of aligners did not fit and they needed to rescan her.  She was told to wear the tray from week 24, at 8 hours a day (when sleeping), was rescanned and then told to come back in a month for the new set.  We argued daily because I didn't understand why I was paying so much for her to wear them 1/3rd of the time but she insisted the dentist instructed her the 8 hours daily and she would have to start with a new set in a month.  But trusted her 13 year old words. Yesterday, at the month check in, I didn't even try to come to the appointment knowing the COVID policy from the previous 2.  While there, I received frantic, alarming texts from my daughter and multiple calls from the office to come inside immediately that 'they needed to speak to me' (I had used the time to run to the supermarket in the complex so I wasn't able to get there for 10 minutes).  My daughter looked distressed as the coordinator told me that we needed to pay an additional $500 to get new scans because her teeth had moved.  And in her appointment with the dentist, she told the dentist that she had missed 2 days with the aligners over the course of the month - she had fallen asleep or forgotten.  I'll be honest - I wasn't surprised - as we argued all month about the 8 hour instruction the dentist gave her in her last appointment.  It didn't seem right. Frustrated, knowing that I didn't have the additional $500, I openly scolded my child about not listening to MY instruction to ignore the dentist instruction of 8 hours and ignoring my instruction to wear the aligners for 24 hours.   The coordinator went to the back to 'talk to the dentist' multiple times to discuss options because I refused to spend the additional $500.  She couldn't go back to week 24 trays or move forward unless I paid this money.  I refused.  This is a luxury in our family.  Finally, the dentist came out and made a comment that my daughter told her she missed 2 days on the aligners and because it was her fault, the cost to rescan was on me.  This was never made clear to us in our initial appointments and/or ever made clear to my daughter.  After the dentist left, I could tell that the coordinator felt bad for my daughter - she even offered to pay the $500 out of her own pocket.  I couldn't let her do that.  The only option then given to us was that my daughter could walk out with the new week 1 tray that didn't fit properly, and we would need for me to finish my $800 balance (which we agreed to do in 8 weeks) and my daughter will then be released with a retainer and tracks removed - 20 weeks short of her final treatment!  What a waste.  Sad for my daughter and a hard life lesson to learn about listening to your mother.  She now has to find ways to help earn the $3000 we've wasted in chores and punishments, and will have to wait until she's old enough to pay for her own teeth straightening when she's an adult. I would not recommend Diamond to anyone.  It's clear that $$$ are the priority.  I will be sure to share this with friends in the community and in any other legitimate review channels.  I think it is critical that they communicate with parents directly (especially when they don't allow them into appointments) - 13 year olds don't always hear instructions and this one in particular isn't one to ask questions if the instructions are not clear. And thank you, to the coordinator (dark curly hair and glasses) who offered to pay for a stranger's braces. The offer was a very kind gesture. read more

Just had my monthly appointment with Dr. LeGroff . I can't say enough great things about her and Joshili (not her usual location ). Both are super professional and kind. I've had several awful experiences in their absence but Diamond Braces is lucky to have these two professionals. Thank Dr. for saving my teeth. AVOID ALL OTHER ORTHOs THERE she's seriously the only competent one from this location which moved to Columbia Park. I have plenty to say about this company but I'll save it for another day. PRO TIP: don't pay off your balance off completely before your treatment is complete they'll try to remove your braces the next week. I speak from experience. read more

Worst mistake ever. First they tell me that my insurance will cover $1500 after 7 month they tell me insurance wont cover anything. I understand this is something cosmetic and that insurance dont usually cover if they had told me i have to call the insurance myself i would have done that but no instead they assured me that my insurance will pay. $4000 later, Im done with my treatment, and have this ugly smile that i dont like my teeth still look horrible. read more
