I finally made it to **Healthy Haus Spot** in Deltona, and I'm so glad I did! I've been visiting…read more**Haus of Vibes** in Orange City, and this time I thought I'd give Healthy Haus a try! Zilk, (the owner) is incredibly kind and helpful, which makes every visit even more enjoyable. Although I enjoy their **Pumpkin Cheesecake Protein Shake** at Haus of Vibes, I decided to try something new at this location. I went with the **Pumpkin Banana Bread Protein Shake** from their seasonal menu, and it did not disappoint! One of the best things about this spot is their rotating seasonal drinks, which always keep things fresh and exciting, making me want to come back and try more. Each standard size shake is around 200 calories (depending on what you add) and packs 24 grams of protein. They also offer **protein waffles** with just around 200 calories (80 additional calories depending on what you add on top) and a solid 30 grams of protein. Their shakes are water-based, helping keep the calorie count low, and they even have cookies that are around **15 calories**--the lowest I've ever seen! I loved the cookies so much that I brought a box home, especially enjoying the caramel and sugar-free chocolate flavors. The **Pumpkin Banana Bread Protein Shake** was delicious, and their muffins are absolutely irresistible! The vibe at **Healthy Haus Spot** is so cute, too. The mural of the Volkswagen van with an "H" adds a fun touch! If you're into fitness or health and wellness, I highly recommend checking this place out. Every shake I've tried-- whether it's Dutch Chocolate, Pumpkin Banana Bread, Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake, or the **Caramel Iced Protein Coffee**--has been amazing. My favorite protein shakes off the menu are: #1 strawberry cheesecake, #2 Reese's #3, pumpkin bread, #4 Dutch Chocolate, #5 Pralines and cream; however, all of these shakes are absolutely delicious and I would order anyone of these again and again. Also, their waffles, and cookies are absolutely irresistible! Exciting news: They're opening a new location in DeBary, and Zilk's daughter Adriana will be running it! I can't wait to try even more flavors! I also saw **Healthy Haus** as a vendor at the **Marketplace with a Purpose** event at Volusia International Bible Fellowship in Orange City. This event was a delightful surprise! I found out about it from a flyer Zilk told me about at Healthy Haus, and they even saved some cookies for me to buy--how fun is that? Their protein-based cookies and drinks are amazing, so I couldn't resist grabbing some at the event. It was such a great time supporting local vendors, and I look forward to more events like this in the future!

They do their Cubans panini-style, pressed just right, and they've got a huge menu of similar pressed sandwiches to work your way through. It's the kind of spot where you immediately start planning what you'll try next before you've even finished what's in front of you. Their homemade green salsa is a standout. It's bold, spicy, and seriously flavorful, almost too good. Fair warning: if you go all in like I tend to, it can overpower everything else on your plate. Doesn't stop me from dipping every bite, though. Parking is easy, which is always a plus, and they've got both indoor and outdoor seating. The vibe is relaxed, down-to-earth, and very much that "local mom-and-pop" feel done right. Overall, a really solid spot, especially if you're into pressed sandwiches and Cuban flavors. Definitely worth a visit.

So this Planet Smoothie has served me as a great "pit-stop" where I also get a smoothie as lunch. Most of the times I will pick their Captain Cherry smoothie, my favorite! I always ask for mine to have the granola "extra blended" (You can do that, you know... helps with keeping the granola flavor to a minimum, but still giving you the protein that you need in order to substitute a meal). Finally, contrary to other smoothie places (which shall not be mentioned), they have a good selection of sizes and fair prices for each size. Can't beat that! Bonus: Don't forget to enter your phone number at the tablet on the register... It's part of their rewards program!
