This school is so unprofessional and disorganized. I attended and they basically misfiled my state…read moreboard cosmetology exam to some completely different address without even showing me what they sent in. I had given them my address on multiple occasions and they even had my ID on file, yet they somehow managed to screw that up typing some other person's home address. Because of this I had no idea my application was pending and never received a test date. And even worse, the school lost their accreditation and refused to refund me my tuition back because I finished all my hrs. If I had known I wouldn't be able to take my exam, then I would not have even enrolled in this school. The intent of enrolling in cosmetology school is to get take the state board exam and get your license. Who the heck would enroll just to waste 1600 hrs of their day?!! One of my biggest regrets and financial losses that year. At least they are no longer in business so they cannot scam other students out of their money. Pro: the only English speaking teacher is really patient and takes the time to teach her students. Cons: the owner, administrative staff, disorganized, outdated equipment

it's very organized from the second you step in i was greeted by someone who asked what i came in…read morefor as i said a haircut and with that she going to a teacher an from there the teachers sat me down with a student and the haircut began. It was really nice and interesting experience as many teachers kept coming by each with tips of their own and giving long and honest feedback. I can go on and on about the experience but to sum it all up it's very nice and it made me feel like a student with how interactive and instructive the teachers are to the student as they had performed my haircut. Most importantly the haircut came out very nice and i was expecting middle standards but it actually was very good as if i went to a professional barbershop. I will for sure be returning.

Ever since they came here there has been big difference in educational and student's working skills . All the students have improved so much in a significant ways and I notice more customers are all happy and satisfied with their hair because they leave here with a big smile and giving compliments. I am also so happy that I enrolled at this school !!!!! This is a great place to learn about the beauty industry because you are in good hands with great instructors here. Angie the owner is a wonderful sweet person with a beautiful soul and a big heart. She has always been there for me whenever I needed help or whenever I have any questions. Angie made me felt welcome with a big hug! . Everyone here is so friendly and helpful! They are great at what they do, so I would really recommend this school to everyone who needs to either enroll or get their hair, nails, and skin done!!!

When we initially registered for the program, we had a conversation with Ms. Keisha, the program's owner, to understand the details and expectations. During this conversation, we were provided with some information, but there were significant omissions. Keisha informed us that my daughter would complete 200 hours of theory and practical training at Simply Divine and then seek an additional 3200 hours of apprenticeship in any salon of her choosing. It was explicitly stated that Simply Divine did not interfere with the salon's operations and that my daughter would need to work out the apprenticeship details directly with the chosen salon owner. However, our frustration and difficulties began when we started searching for a salon to continue my daughters training after her 200 hours at Simply Divine had ended. Many salon owners were unwilling to work with apprentices, creating substantial barriers. My primary grievance with this program is the lack of transparency that we encountered, particularly from Keisha the program owner. Important details were withheld, and we feel that this may have been deliberate, with the intention of securing payment while making it extremely challenging for any student to find a suitable place for apprenticeship. To make matters worse, my daughter was informed that the hours she had completed at Simply Divine are not transferable to any other institution. This means that, if she cannot find a suitable trainer to complete her remaining hours as an apprentice, she would need to start all over again at a different educational institution. This revelation comes as a substantial financial burden for my family, particularly considering the high cost of gas. I believe that Keisha, being the professional in this field and the program's owner, has a moral and ethical obligation to provide potential participants with comprehensive details about the program. Failure to do so takes advantage of the ignorance of individuals, particularly young and naive students like my daughter. I am a single mother, and we were overjoyed when Kennedy had the opportunity to attend cosmetology school at a reduced cost. However, we have encountered numerous roadblocks along the way, making us question the value of this endeavor. Now, at the end of the apprenticeship, we have no place for my daughter to complete her training, and the hours she has already completed are non-transferable. This situation has incurred significant physical toll on me. I struggle with leg circulation making driving painful difficult however I scarified my physical health because we saw this opportunity as a blessing. When I spoke to Keisha the owner she was provoking, rude, unwilling to help us find a solution. I asked Keisha if my daughter can do her apprenticeship hours at simply divine and her exact words were "no I do not train anymore". I also asked if she can refer a salon since she has worked many years in this field and her answer was "no". She basically did not care per her own words "she did her part". My daughter was so happy to pursue on of her goals to be a licensed cosmologist and I feel really bad that all the work and hours she has put in does not count for anything. Be careful dealing with this school and program owner do your research and do not make the same mistake we made.
