I woke up early Saturday morning to go and get some labwork done at LabCorp. I think prior this I…read morehad gone to one other LabCorp in my life on the other side of Hialeah. Since then, this one opened up and my doctor sent me here for tests. That said, this one felt so warm and cozy, at least in terms of interior design. Spacious, clean, and pretty modern with kiosks for check-in. I know this is all due to COVID-19, but I was still pretty impressed. There were lots of people there, but it didn't feel crowded and everything was easy peasy. Upon entering, I had already checked in on my mobile device, so really the only question I had was: What do I do with the paperwork my doctor gave me? I eventually got to the front and asked. Gave it to the guy at the desk, but really I could have just given to whomever attended me. Never got asked for my driver's license or insurance card, even upon leaving, but then I realized the paper I turned in had that. Well, that and my history hasn't changed, so I was clearly in the system. This is something I wish they had told me upfront rather than me realizing it. Armando ended up being my phlebotomist. He was amazing. Typically I detest getting blood drawn as I have thin veins, so it's a mission to get a vein and for it to actually drain. I'm so used to being pinched several times, but he did it one go and it was just seamless. Friendly, efficient, and perfect. All in all, a better than expected experience in Hialeah. They just need to work some minor organizational issues, and well, maybe speak some English. I didn't see one person there speaking it.

I'm always in and out in less than 30 minutes. Also super important, I've never had bruises the day after!! Thank God! I was shocked today when I had a terrible experience because all the staff I've come across have been nothing but kind, patient, and helpful! For some reason the nurse had it out for me today. She was rude and gave me attitude from the beginning. I thought that she didn't want to help/work because they close at 2pm and my appointment was for 1:20 but she kept seeing other patients. I have always emailed my lab form but she was not having. She kept telling me that the internet and emails were down and that if it didn't come in 15 mins before they closed, that she wouldnt help me. Around 1:45 I asked her, if she could check and she said that they still hadn't received anything. I asked if they had tried restarting, to which she replied "do you think this is a game" to which I replied "no, that's why I need to get my labs done". I came to find out after that they received my email less than 10 minutes after I sent it. She was literally lying to my face and gaslighting me. Then when another nurse helped me, she came in to the room and caused a scene while I'm getting my blood drawn. So unprofessional. I want to thank Mayselisse for taking the time to search for my email, and call me after I had left because the other nurse told me to leave. She was sweet and caring! I definitely recommend going in the afternoon. The mornings are packed!

I was originally speaking in English with a Spanish speaker who spoke no English and she was extremely rude, transferred me to a line where no one picked up without trying to help me or get someone who spoke English to help me, and when I tried calling back twice she hung up on me both times. The only way I got through was by calling *67 and then Diana informed me that this location and Doral are under reconstruction and she doesn't know when they will offer their services again. Diana was very passive aggressive and did not care at all when I complained to her about the other receptionist. All she said they can provide is medical reports in person, no info at all over the phone. I asked to speak with her boss to file a complaint against the other woman who hung up on me and she told me there are no bosses I can speak with, just her (the receptionist). Hopefully the owner of this company or someone is informed of this terrible experience and makes sure to have a bilingual receptionist at the Doral location to answer any questions about their services, it's very misleading to show online that they are open when in reality they are not. At least give everyone online notice that this business is closed until further notice to save any woman in need of this rude experience.
