I've always had this affinity for anything Italian. When it comes to the kitchen that is. Fueling my love for this were my fond childhood memories on late night munching with the parents at Di'Marks. Those nights when they'll pick you up from home and drive to this little cozy Italian joint a kilometer or two away from home. Ah, those truly were the days. But, beyond the memories of fun-filled, late night, recreation with the family; it was actually the rather mouthwatering feast laid out in front of us that definitely stole the show. Brickoven pizza, mozzarella fritters and pitchers and pitchers of soda; our table would usually look like a soccer mom's post-game treat to the team. But going back to the food, these definitely played an integral role in establishing a love for Italian cuisine that's burning strong up until today. What to try? Funny enough, however, it's not the pizza but their hero meatball sandwich that no other similar offering has been up to par with.
