DHL are a pretty solid delivery company, I've used them many times for sending and receiving parcels, I often find, they are pretty reliable, but you should expect this as they are on the more high-end pricing scale. This is made worse by different prices for the same service, I often find using third-party parcel services which then use DHL's labels is cheaper, I don't like this as I feel they shouldn't hide the best deals and make them harder to get.
I do find their features and online website interface isn't as good as other couriers such as Parcelforce, DPD and UPS, the tracking is fine.
I did find the number of emails I received to be rather spammy, it would have been better to have this available on a tracking link, I received multiple emails, one of them was just to say I will receive another email with a one-hour time slot for a parcel collection on the day of delivery, which all could have been included with the label which was also emailed.
They have a good number of service points on the high-street, some of which are in locations in large retailers such as WHSmith and Ryman, which is pretty handy.
3* - Reliable parcel company as both a sender/receiver, I do find sending parcels to be made slightly more difficult and it is often easier to use DPD, who have a greater deal of services for the recipient on the app/website, but DHL certainly isn't a bad alternative. read more
