She told me that she would have someone out the following day between 12 and 2. Yay! Dan arrived today at 12:00. Very courteous and professional. He has been with the company for 18 years. That says alot. He replaced the spring and bushings (they were cracked) and lubricated all the moving parts. The door now works like new. On top of that, the cost of this service call was... Called for a replacement bottom seal for our garage door. Schmitz said they could have someone out…read morearound 11, and they showed up around 8:30 AM. They took a look at the door, told us they could do the job, and then left. We didn't hear from them for a week. Right before we were about to call another company, Schmitz calls us and says they can get the seal on our door, with an 11:30 appointment time. The team showed up again around 8 AM, swapped the seal quickly, and then left all their trash from the job. I'm not impressed. Yeah, we got our new seal, but it took a whole week for no reason, and the company can't keep their own schedule.
