Got here around 1 on a Thursday afternoon and it was quite although it slightly picked up by the time I was done. Spacious and mostly indoor seating. Ordered a Spicy Kebab and a lamb shish kebab for take away. Started with the Lavas bread freshly made in the wood fire oven. So light, hollow ballon resemblance and hot, paired perfectly with the delicious Haydari (yogurt sauce.) The spicy kebab (the most popular for the Turkish as my server shared) was similar to one that I had in Bodrum. Perfectly grilled, tender beef and spiced just right-seasoned and not really spicy. The Lamb shish kebab was also very tender and just right grilled. Loved the rice that came with the order. Paired it all with an Efes-local Pilsner Beer-crisp, cold and tasty. Service was attentive and upbeat. Make the short walk to this spot for some authentic, local deliciousness!

It has earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand and we decided to stop by for a quick bite. The Lahmacun was made fresh and was light and aromatic. It could've used more meat for my liking, and I wish the toppings plate came with pickled cabbage or onions which is still traditional; I've never seen Lahmacun be eaten with lettuce so maybe that's the "tourist option". The Sarımsaklı İsotlu Lahmacun is basically the same thing with garlic & hot pepper if you're looking for more flavor. And of course, you can't eat with this without washing it down with a classic Ayran drink! I wish I tried their grilled meats but maybe next time!

On our day, it was just my husband and I but Nilay said they can accommodate larger groups (10-20). We cooked with three generations of family and ate the most delicious meal. She even picked us up from the cruise port and took us back. This all took 4 hours, but I'm sure it could be shortened if desired. Also, it was way more affordable than the options the cruise had.
