I chose Mackenzie Holst because when I talked to her on the phone, she immediately sounded confident and already had a plan for me based on my circumstances when we hung up. From the very beginning, starting in August all the way to mediation in November, she navigated me through the process in a way where everything was super clear. I always knew what the outcomes might be depending on what I decided, and she was great about laying out the options in a way that helped me when my brain was mush from work and I was checked out. Right away, Mackenzie moved to get me expanded standard possession. Every time we spoke on the phone or communicated through email, she got to the point but was detailed and clear. Deserve Silva Smith is really rated as minus stars. My divorce cost me $33,500.00 Kody Siliva even posted one of my checks where he stole an extra thousand plus dollars. My attorney was Korin Lewis was supposed to be my attorney but she turned out to be a better attorney for my ex. All she did was take lousy advice from Kody Siliva who I never met . Then to top it off when I gave them a bad review Ms.Candice Deyerle took it upon herself to have reviews posted for the next ten days. I believe that some of the reviews were fake if not all of them. I even went to court to fire Korin Lewis and Kody Siliva. So two of the three we founding partners can give you terrible advice while siphoning every cent you can beg, barrow, or come up with to pay very bad attorneys. Please take your money somewhere else. I let this "new" firm handle my divorce case, I trusted them, and all ended badly for me; they delayed my case as much as they could to keep billing me, my attorney Ms. Lewis, was so unprepared, had no energy, no empathy, and then they pretty much empty my bank account, my ex destroyed her. Then, they were aggressive, rude, and in denial when I asked questions. I regret so much to put my trust in them. Then, I had to hire another lawyer to clean up the mess they left me with. My new lawyer also confirmed the horrible representation I had, and in shocked about my case. I'm paying the price of my bad decision to hire them. read more

This firm is great. They were able to get the job done quickly and efficiently. I will say that you need to have at least 5-thousand ready and able to pay. For a standard divorce where everyone agrees and signs. I looked up how fast a divorce could get done in Texas and this firm was able to get it done faster than anything I came up with on google. I would not recommend this firm! They burned through $5,356.62 without doing much at all. My 17 year old daughter needed help with filing child custody paperwork. While I understand that Texas law considers a 17 year old as an adult in this case, the firm didn't even send me the billing statements, although they knew I was financially responsible. They insisted on sending everything to my kid. Also, instead of listening to my daughter and trying to help her get what she needed, they kept trying to push her into just accepting a standard agreement (aka a template they just have to fill in a few details on). I know this, because I sat silently on several of the calls they had with my child and the lawyer wouldn't even shut up long enough to let my daughter talk. If all of that wasn't bad enough, I ended up making all of the updates to the legal documents myself, so that my daughter and her child were taken care of. But, wait, there's more! The legal documents the law firm sent over were riddled with errors such as misspellings and sections that had obviously been copied and then pasted into sections completely out of context where the verbage didn't even make sense. (Yes I had to clean all of that up myself too.) At the end of it all the law firm made very few edits and just accepted all of the many changes and corrections I had done myself.
