The quality of his team and his work is exceptional and we ended up with a fantastic new master bathroom. His designs tend toward contemporary and coastal which fits the vibe of Carlsbad and the surrounding area. He is attentive and at the job consistently which was important to us after having previous contractors who didn't always show up, or, sent their team and didn't come to oversee the work. Our job involved moving our shower, changing out windows and re-doing the bathroom from the ground up. We went from a dated, non functional bathroom to a modern, beautiful and highly functional bathroom that is now a feature of our house and is enjoyable to use. I highly recommend Drew and his team.

These guys did a horrible job! In haste when removing the baseboards holes were made in the walls…read moreand the baseboards were destroyed. While the flooring was being installed I questioned why all the cross seams were all even, in other words not staggered, the reply was that this way the way the boards came. Next to my bathtub and the exit to the garage 3/16" areas (strips) were left without flooring-just gaps which I had to fill and fix myself. They made a mess cutting the wood and made no attempt at any cleanup. I had to pay them to install new baseboards even though they destroyed what was there. Their work in installing the baseboards was lousy. They did not caulk the nail holes and they did not use a sponge or anything to remove the caulk they got all over the walls. Some of baseboard cuts and installation were so sloppy that I have had to pay to have them redone. Why would I do that. When I called them back to fix the things I was aware of I was told that if they came back they would charge me! This company is a young man 22-24 years old who this thinks he knows everything and his assistant, a more patient person but the one who advised me I would be charged for further service AKA completing the job. Last but not least I have discovered (by a pro contractor) that the door thresh holds were improperly installed so that the flooring would not float as it should. Steve was very friendly and educational on what he was going to do vs what other contractors do, cutting cost and efficacy. I asked about prices. Steve wasnt extremely low on price, trying to get the job not was he ridiculously expensive. We scheduled a couple days out and he arrived at his scheduled time. (We had the bathroom tile installed, backsplash removed and installed, sub-floor/laminate ripped out, base boards cut and installed and a new toilet added) Steve got to work with his son, cleanly. I left him at my house alone Bc I had to go to work. I had valuables on the counter and not one thing was touched or missing. Steve was communicative through the whole process, even when I was not at home. I asked questions throughout and he gave me choices. I am EXTREMELY pleased and excited with the work. I'm OCD so inspected every inch of his work. All the fine details are perfect (grout is even, cuts are straight, nicely cleaned up the work area). All said and done, for 2 half days of work I paid $1000. With all the reno's we are doing Steve's business was the smoothest, clearest, and most efficient.
