The staff were super nice and the hotel was well kept, but some parts need little renovations. Elevators were super fast and nice, just a bit dirty and looks run down. Lovely location and it is right by some really nice shops across the road. You will NEVER have to worry about not having any money to spend. They have a great breakfast in the mornings that is free with drinks and waffles. Starbucks coffee is also available as well. There are 5 floors total but if you have a room by the end, then prepare for a lot of walking. The rooms overall looked super clean, with neat beds and furniture. Came with a microwave and mini fridge for convenience. I wish the trash bin was larger because they barely give any space for your trash, basically a tiny seperate bin on the ground with a divider that does not help at all. My WORST experience was the showers, THEY WILL SEND YOU TO CHINA! They are WAYYY to pressurized and so are the sinks and toilets. If you are using the shower and sink, USE IT WITH CAUTION. The bathrooms when we got there were dirty, and the floors and shower were definitely not cleaned. We found used towels and washcloths on the top bar, and if you are going to shower then PLEASE use the shower curtain. There is no shower doors, and without the curtains you will flood the whole bathroom. (From experience) The sink is separate from the bathroom itself and has a light up mirror. Outside is a beautiful view of palm trees and nature. Overall, I recommend this for a short trip, definitely not long term. Showers are a hazard for your skin and rooms can be found a bit dirty, but everything else is fine.

It was downright gross. We reported it to the front desk (she was very receptive to our complaint) and was told the manager had to be notified prior to any action being taken. There were no other rooms available at the Seaside, so a new location would have been the only other option. Nothing was done that night. The next morning, we were prepared to move to another spot. After speaking to the manager and a maintenance person being notified of the situation, we were offed to have the room sprayed, or to have the mess painted. We chose neither, as that would only exacerbate the issue. We wanted out of that room. From doing my research black mold, the only true remedy would be to have professional remediation. The manager, even after seeing the photos I'd taken said that it could have just been "dirty" NOT! So, she arranged for us to be housed at another location with the same accommodations. We had already packed our belongings prior to speaking to her, so we were ready to move. We did and when we arrived our rooms were not ready. Waited over an hour before we could go upstairs to our room. The room seemed clean. The kitchen was outdated but functional. You be the judge. Mold or "just dirt" See pictures attached. Because of the exposure and inconvenience of having to move, I felt that some portion of the money spent should have been refunded. I will be sending this review to corporate to see if a remedy will be provided. July 21-23 stay. Best part of stay was the beach, beach view and rooms seemed clean, but how clean can it be with this circulating around in the air?

Negatives: 1) Not enough handicapped parking, 10 spaces total. That equals ONE space for every two floors of the hotel. 2) Could not get to and from pool to beach area. Gate were locked and blocked by large trash cans! 3) Safe took up entire closet in the master. Absolutely no where to put luggage. Nowhere to lay anything, TV filled the chest top. 4) Areas were tight, swivel chair in Livingroom could not swivel to face the ocean. This resort is described as a…read morepremier (3-star) oceanfront timeshare resort featuring 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom suites in four towers with full kitchens, lots of pantry space, balconies, and within-unit washers and dryers. Resort amenities are abundant and include direct beach access, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, (small) lazy rivers, a fitness center, an arcade, and a fire pit. We made a relatively late reservation here for five nights when we learned that international guests would be visiting. There would be seven guests (all adults) for two nights, and only four of us for the other three nights. We used extra timeshare points (making it more expensive) in order to get a unit on an upper floor, hoping that the upper floor would give us the best ocean view. Unit. (3/5). Our unit in Tower 2 was spacious (especially when there were only 4 of us), and had everything that we needed and was clean. We especially appreciated the fully-stocked full kitchen with generous pantry space, having a washer and dryer in the unit, and the jacuzzi in the main bedroom (which we under-utilized!). The beds were comfortable, and had high quality linens. However, we were somewhat disappointed with the unit as our ocean view was limited (although you could see the ocean, beach, and one of the pools from our balcony). And, as the resort was built in 2002, and last renovated in 2011, it's now beginning to show its age -- with sofas and chairs that were no longer firm, some chips on furniture, and the musty smell that comes with high humidity. Amenities and Activities. (3.5/4). Tower 2 was convenient, and had many amenities that we utilized. It was home to the Lobby and Registration, had direct beach access, a lazy river, access to indoor and outdoor pools, game room/arcade, activities center, gift shop, and fire pit. As with our room, some of the amenities need upgrades. For instance, the hot tub was lukewarm at best, and the markings on the shuffleboard had eroded off. The resort also had a full calendar of "Resort Experiences", which included arts and crafts, shows, fitness classes, and more. HOWEVER, we were three days in before we even learned that there were resort activities, as we weren't given a schedule at check-in. For instance, we would've gone to the Sunday evening "Karaoke Welcome Party" at the fire pit, but we weren't aware. We DID enjoy the "Hula Fire Show" a few nights later. A few other random points. (1) Parking could be challenging if it's important to you to have parking close to your unit. If not, there's plentiful parking (and a free shuttle, which we didn't utilize) behind Tower 4. We were able to get parking in Tower 2 most evenings, except one evening when we got back late. (2) we were surprised that the concierge did have discount tickets to the shows in Myrtle Beach that we wanted to attend. (3) we would stay here again, but probably wouldn't pay extra again for a higher floor.

But for…read morethe price and the fact that it's oceanfront, we thought, "Why not give it a try?"After all, we went for the beach and the views, and we spend very little time in the room other than enjoying our balcony--which has been one of our favorite parts! We did enjoy the pool area but do recommend getting there early if you want a chair, we had beach chairs so for us it wasn't a deal breaker. Yes, the hotel is dated, but we understand that it's in a hurricane zone, so we're pretty understanding of that. Our room was clean and decent, and honestly, our only real complaint about the room was that the sink and tub didn't drain very well. We didn't use the stove but it was very outdated but atleast it was there If we wanted to use it. The elevator floor was wet & sandy but here again it is a beach front hotel; you're going to have it! The breakfast bar was just okay, and while the eating area is on the smaller side, they have to-go containers available and a nice-sized outdoor patio. The parking isn't directly on the property, but there's a parking lot right across the street, so it really wasn't a big inconvenience for us. Overall, for the price, location, oceanfront views, beach and pool access, we really can't complain! Would we stay here again? Absolutely! Sometimes you just have to experience a place for yourself instead of letting the reviews make the decision for you!

Breakfast was typical hotel faire however felt like I was standing in the lunch line at school to be served my food by the cafeteria lady and the dining area was very tiny. The staff has been amazing from the time I checked in to the housekeeping. Upon arrival I requested a fresh set of sheets since I never trust that the ones on the bed are actually clean and I received them expediently and with a smile. Also, the gift bag I got for being a Platinum Best Western rewards member was one of the nicer I have received and the front desk clerk was very helpful. It's usually hit or miss with Best Western whether or not they acknowledge your status. Please note that there are three different buildings and I was in the annex. I would probably not stay hear again because the accommodations are very dated however if I were judging based on customer service I would in fact come back.

We came in early around 930am and the check in was painless although our room was not ready. The associate was wonderful and explained everything. Parked our rental car ourselves and waited literally 10 minutes before we got the call that our room was ready. We have an ocean view on the 8th floor. Our original room was to be on 15 but was not ready same type of room so we took it. The room is on the smallish side. The closet is tiny. Bathroom seemed as if it had been upgraded and was adequate. I think most folks who come here likely only bring shorts, a bathing suit and flip flops. We do not plan to spend much time in the room except for sleeping. It appears a bit dated. But the view is fabulous. Not sure how old the place is but some refurbishment should be considered. Also the television had very limited offerings. I guess everyone uses their phones and tablets nowadays. Everything in the room worked and it was clean. The bed was great typical Marriott we slept well. We went down to the pool and found a couple of chairs that were in the shade. It was not crowded. There are fancy lounges with umbrellas for 2 at $150/day. We did not do that. The pool was delightful. It is steps from the ocean and many folks were down at the beach. We will spend today at the pool then consider the beach tomorrow. Service at the pool starts at 11am. We got a couple of cocktails. Service was simpatico. We got to the pool right after breakfast the second day and procured a couple of nice lounges with umbrellas. Suggest you get to the pool before 10 am as most of the choice spots are taken by then. Many families with young children ok with us. We like kids. Suggest that they have complimentary coffee running in the lobby. Most high endy places we have been at offer such things. A lot of nickel and diming. For example we received complimentary coupons for breakfast each day but if you wanted an omelet or waffle $6 dollar up charge. Parking was not complimentary we were charged every day. You could however get water bottles at the front desk no charge. Typically these are included or complimentary. We had a meal in the Blue Bar overlooking the pool area. I got a grouper sandwich it was delicious. We ate there on the second night as well. The second day we had breakfast in the Ocean 82 restaurant it was great. Just about anything you could want and the typical omelet waffle station was on offer. Service was excellent. All staff are absolutely delightful. We ate breakfast there each day. We spent every day at the pools and a bit of time at the beach so nice having them so close to each other. Beach chairs were arranged by the Myrtle Beach Coast Guards $55/ day for two chairs and an umbrella. A very nice place and for Myrtle likely the best you can get. Not high end luxury however. We would return when in the area. Nancy & Mark.

As a lifetime Titanium member, she was excited to tell us all about the room they gave us on the top floor. She offered us water bottles and a late checkout. She was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. When we got to the room, the views were awesome and with a corner room, we could see both the Ocean in front and the beach to the South. It was stunning. The bed was also so comfortable, it was the best sleep I had since we left home. We had a fun dinner that night at the Ocean on 82nd Restaurant with a delicious Grouper entree. Grouper is a South East Coast delicacy and I was not going to miss the chance to have it fresh. Even the fries were perfect. The next day, I had the full buffet with the custom omelet. As a Bonvoy Titanium member, I chose the breakfast coupon option at check in and with a minor $6 upcharge, I had the full buffet option. The omelet was excellent as were all the other accompaniments I chose from the buffet. I even got a cup of tea to go when I finished. Later the following day, my wife and I had lunch on the patio overlooking the Ocean at the Blue Bar. Great food and views. We were there for a destination wedding which went flawlessly from the Ocean view deck for the ceremony to the reception and buffet. I would not hesitate to stay there again on a future visit.

However, as a bride, I had high expectations for our wedding day (May 1, 2026) but unfortunately our experience at Bay Watch Resort and Conference Center fell far short. Several issues occurred throughout the event that reflected a lack of preparation and coordination. Before the ceremony even began, the venue's speaker system failed on the beach, leaving our DJ without working audio. This created unnecessary stress right at the start of what should have been a smooth ceremony. Our daughter had a small portable speaker, but even our immediate family in the first row couldn't hear a word.  During the reception, the food service was disappointing--many guests received cold meals, and service overall felt disorganized. At one point, a server dropped plates onto the dance floor, which was both disruptive and concerning from a safety standpoint. It was also clear the event was understaffed, as delays and confusion continued throughout the night. There were also noticeable attention-to-detail issues, such as incorrect signage in both the lobby and upstairs areas displaying the wrong month for our wedding. Perhaps most frustrating was that my photographer ended up helping coordinate aspects of the evening--something that should never fall on a vendor hired for a completely different role. Despite these challenges, the venue has since attempted to place blame on the DJ and photographer rather than taking responsibility. Overall, the lack of organization, staffing, and accountability made an already stressful day even more difficult. I would strongly encourage future couples to ask detailed questions about coordination, staffing, and contingency plans before booking!

Unit never washed comforters or any brown blanket. Spent 6 hours cleaning and washing. Black mold all over unit. All around a terrible spot. Baywatch sucked! The ice cream store had maybe 4 flavors, all at the end. Bathrooms were broken the entire time, front desk people sucked. Completely bothered if you asked a question. If you leave your towels on chairs, make sure you are back in 30 minutes or they will move. So don't plan a long walk and set timers to check back on your towels. Plus, not ONE door was secured. Random people walking around all the time. Everyday had to deal with awful people who snuck in, then had to hear them argue until they leave.Bonus, smokers constantly smoking by gates to beach...which overflows right into pool are. Would definitely not recommend, there are TONS of better spots right down the beach.
