We had a wonderful stay at the Seaside. It was a more quiet area in Nortb Myrtle Beach. The room was clean and two balconies made it really enjoyable. There was lots to do. Staff was friendly. It was close to the pickleball courts. We will be back next year! read more

Here is our experience at the Seaside Resort. Upon arrival everything looked satisfactory. Upon further investigation and having a few issues with coughing and sneezing and a little snooping around, we found black mold behind the door where the air compressor resides. It was downright gross. We reported it to the front desk (she was very receptive to our complaint) and was told the manager had to be notified prior to any action being taken. There were no other rooms available at the Seaside, so a new location would have been the only other option. Nothing was done that night. The next morning, we were prepared to move to another spot. After speaking to the manager and a maintenance person being notified of the situation, we were offed to have the room sprayed, or to have the mess painted. We chose neither, as that would only exacerbate the issue. We wanted out of that room. From doing my research black mold, the only true remedy would be to have professional remediation. The manager, even after seeing the photos I'd taken said that it could have just been "dirty" NOT! So, she arranged for us to be housed at another location with the same accommodations. We had already packed our belongings prior to speaking to her, so we were ready to move. We did and when we arrived our rooms were not ready. Waited over an hour before we could go upstairs to our room. The room seemed clean. The kitchen was outdated but functional. You be the judge. Mold or "just dirt" See pictures attached. Because of the exposure and inconvenience of having to move, I felt that some portion of the money spent should have been refunded. I will be sending this review to corporate to see if a remedy will be provided. July 21-23 stay. Quick check in, reasonable price, and decent room with amazing view. We booked 2 bedrooms with seaside view during bike week. It has all the amenities that I care about: kitchen, towel service, and pool with access to the beach. Not to mention the lazy river pool and free parking. The downside of this place is they have a little bit of odor in the hallway. Maybe it's chlorine, seawater, or something that we couldn't really make up. There is also signs of water damage in the bathroom. Another downside is the lighting of each rooms. There's literally only one tiny light source that is not enough to light the whole room. If "ballin' on a budget" were a place, Seaside Resort here in North Myrtle Beach would be it. Cramped interior garage parking was just the first of many quirks about this place. If you're not worried about the condition your car leaves in, parking in their garage is certainly a risk you can take. The ceiling is also very low, so if you drive a large/lifted vehicle, you can forget it. Only one of the two available elevators was functional at the time of our stay, and it was a long wait to get up or down anywhere if you weren't keen on taking the stairs. The suite was relatively nice, but cheap furniture and mattresses made it feel more like a boujee Super 8 more than it does a resort hotel. Its beachfront location, direct boardwalk access to the beach, and evening beach floodlights, does make up for a lot of what this place is lacking. I did come here for the beach, after all. These qualities made that experience much more comfortably had and accessible. read more

At first glance, the place is quite dated and could use some sprucing up but the accomodations were adequate for a beach front property. We checked in at 4pm on a Saturday and stayed for an entire week. On our floor, we occupied 3 different units in varying sizes. We ended up with a one bedroom with a murphy bed in the living room. Since there's not a description and this causes a lot of confusion with some of the family members, it's really just a full size pull down bed in the living room that looks like a part of the wall when not in use. It's perfectly fine for a couple of kids. Our unit had a small kitchen with a tiny stoven, a full size fridge, a 4-seater dining table, 2 plastic outdoor chairs in the small patio, and a jetted tub. We never tried the tub as there are plenty of activities to occupy our days and evenings with but it seemed to be in running order. When I said the place could use some sprucing up, I mean, they really NEED to. Our unit had stains all over the couch and carpet and they're not small stains. Random bumps on loose carpet sides which I imagine a shabby motel would have... but was surprised to find them here. My in-laws' large unit had a dining table chair cushion that was torn to shreds. It looked completely awful and downright unappealing. The pools and hot tubs seemed fine and useable. We lounged out there a few times but preferred the beach more. As this place is a beach-front property, it is perfect for families on vacation as long as you're not too picky with the amenities. Don't bring blu-rays because they only have DVD players in the rooms. We were quite disappointed when we tried to watch a movie and couldn't because of the outdated technology. They do have a Blockbuster... I mean, a DVD rental kiosk in the main lobby, if you so desire. Overall, I think this place is worth 2-stars. For all the bad, it at least has really good insulation between rooms. It has some great potential though if they do a bit of work and improve the overall appearance of the units and clean the place up a little more. We found some weird poo-looking thing in front of our room and some general trash laying around in various places. I did not see anyone doing general housekeeping on the unit floors but did see some people mopping and cleaning the lobby area and the spot in front of the elevators where people can drag water through from the pool or the beach. read more

My nephew and I stayed here for a couple days in spring 2017. The room was clean and the views, spectacular. The rooms were privately owned condos so each suite may not have the same experience. Furniture wasn't in the best condition, but nothing worth complaining about. Parking is within the building as a lower level structure. Heads up, parking structure was a tight squeeze though! My suite had everything I needed as far as toiletries and kitchen wares. I probably could have cooked a whole meal in the suite with all that was provided. The "back yard' of the hotel is the beach so literally a matter of just stepping outside to the ocean. I can't wait to return... read more

RENTER BEWARE!!!!!!!! I booked a 2 night stay thinking I was going to have a relaxing getaway. All went well until I stepped foot into their water attractions. Let me give you the backstory. I booked my reservation online with no problem. I did not receive a confirmation email so I picked up the phone and called the hotel. The employee found my reservation and made sure I got a confirmation email. Great! Upon getting to the hotel, things started to go downhill. The female employee that checked me in, who was EXTREMELY nice and friendly by the way, told me that there was some maintenance on the water attractions and that they would be taking ONE attraction down at a time to fix. There was a memo also on the plexiglass divider at the front desk with this information. So, after checking into the room, unpacking, and changing into my bathing suit, I made my way down to the pools. See attached pics and video of what I encountered. The Lazy River - EMPTY. The Pool - EMPTY. What was open? An indoor hot tub and an outdoor hot tub and pool. Due to the fact that it was the middle of February with a temperature of 39° outside, I had no choice but to use only the indoor hot tub. Already livid, I tried to enjoy the first night just with the indoor hot tub, thinking that tomorrow one of the other 2 attractions would be open. Day two rolls around and guess what I encountered upon entering the water attractions.... The same situation. I went up to the front desk to complain and was offered a different hotel to stay at. Really? Why should I be inconvenienced yet again, and pick up all my belongings and haul them to a different location to hotel that I am not familiar with, along with all of this aggravation? This is the hotels fault in the first place for NOT BEING HONEST from the get go. Between my on-line reservation and talking to an employee at the hotel (WITHOUT being told of any attraction being down) to then being told upon checking in that only ONE attraction would be down to having NUMEROUS attractions down at a time is OUTRAGEOUS. FIRST AND LAST time staying here! We rented a one bedroom sea view hotel that ended up being on the 14th floor (my child would not go out on the balcony) for starters the room was oddly laid out, tiny kitchen no closet space for luggage and the dining table was tightly placed in between the living room and balcony doors. The beds were soft and the furniture was nice, but we stayed to notice little small black ants on one of the beds in the bedroom, so we couldn't use that bed. The floors were slippery WITH shoes on, and housekeeping never came during our stay. The hallways had a water smell like maybe chlorine or the ocean. And the garage was horrible! It was too tight, we are in a sedan and had trouble getting in and out of the garage/parking spaces. We did not use any amenities like the pool/lazy river because we were at my family condo down the street throughout the day. read more

I think it is time for an update of the carpeting and kitchen fixtures. I think Seaside could be middle of the road pricing If they upgraded and swapped some furniture out. I need to write a brief backstory before my actual hotel review... We live in NC and had friends coming down from NY who were staying in N.Myrtle for a week so we said we would come for the weekend and see them. So I called about a DOZEN+ hotels in the area (near their hotel) to book a room for ONE night. They all told me they had a minimum of a 2-night to 3-night stay. (Sigh) This is where the weird part happened... I called Sea Side and they too told me they had a 2-night minimum. I called Avista resort (owned by the same company as Sea Side) and booked what I thought was a room with them because they said we could stay one night. (SWEET! FINALLY!!!) On the day of our "mini getaway" we make our way to the coast and find the Avista resort and go to check in... Only they couldn't find my pre-paid reservation. (HEH???!?!?!??) They then discover that I am booked a room at the SEA SIDE. (WHAT?!?!?!?) TOTALLY AND UTTERLY CONFUSED TO SAY THE LEAST (CONSIDERING I CONTACTED SEA SIDE DIRECTLY AND THEY SAID 2-NIGHT MINIMUM.) Mind blown and completely dumbfounded we headed the short drive down the road to the Sea Side... Review of the Sea Side: So we were TOTALLY impressed with the Sea Side!!! We arrived around 1pm despite check-in being at 4pm. (We wanted to be able to spend the day at the beach since we were only there for one night and wanted to at least TRY to check in early.) I wouldn't say the front desk was overly friendly but at least they were pleasant. Upon walking in (yes, at a kind of unusual check-in time) they seemed confused as to why we were there. But after explaining our situation, they pre-checked us in to save time for when the room was ready. We then decided to head to lunch and were pleasantly surprised when we got a call at 2pm saying our room was ready!!!!!!!!! We got a 2-bedroom unit that had a (part) ocean view. The unit was really nice!!! Each bedroom had (2) queen beds. The unit also had 2 beautiful spacious bathrooms (the master bedroom had a in-room bathroom with GIANT jacuzzi tub), a small kitchen with the basics (fridge, small stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker and pots, pans, etc), good sized dining room table, decent living space and a nice balcony. I opted for the "Continental Breakfast" which cost about $14 more. We had 4 adults and a baby in the room and I figured that wasn't too bad. We were pleasantly surprised with the number of choices. I was actually expecting basically cold cereal, bagels and muffins. They had those but ALSO: French toast, waffles, ham and cheese omelets, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, a variety of juices and of course coffee. The hot items you had to warm up on your own in either the microwave or the toaster but we all filled our bellies and left satisfied. We LOVED having beach access right from the hotel. This place does also have a pool but we did not go in it. Value: We came the second weekend in May (which happened to be "Bike Week" and paid around $200 for a Sat. night. I thought that was reasonable. Some cons for the hotel included: - (Not a huge deal but worth mentioning) Their parking garage was SUPER tight. I mean, tight-tight. We stopped attempting to go around the first turn and just parked in a spot on the ramp when you first drive in just for ease of getting in and out. - The beds were not comfortable. This was a disappointment. I usually LOVE staying at hotels because the beds are so much better than our bed at home but unfortunately, the ones here weren't the greatest. I kind of slept awful but we also aren't used to having our 1 year-old staying in the same room. So my super poor nights sleep could have been a combo of uncomfortable bed and baby in the same room. All-in-all, we LOVED our stay and actually considering coming to Myrtle for another weekend this summer and would definitely look into staying at the Sea Side!!! read more

My family and I have stayed at the Seaside for several years now and have loved it. The 3 bedroom apartment is spacious, clean and has a great view of the ocean. We love being right on the beach, and the kids love the pools. Especially the lazy river. But this year, we decided to cancel our reservation due to the high risk of Covid -19. There is no way we feel it safe to go to hotel at this time, especially with having to use an elevator. We were still charged 10% of our deposit with tax, which cost us about $75. I am VERY upset and disappointed that they would not waive this fee despite everything that is going on in with the spike in Covid -19 cases in Myrtle Beach right now. read more

The staff was very responsive, the room was very well kept up, as was the pool, lazy river, etc. Free wi-fi, and your own router in the bedroom, full kitchenette, washer, dryer, etc. It would definitely a place to stay again; however, this resort charges a lot of taxes and fees that are not disclosed on the reservation site (-2 stars for this.) On a three night stay (two room), we had to pay for pool tags, and over $145 in taxes. The room rate may be decent, but they will get you on the taxes and fees, which they do not disclose to you until you check in. (They should give that to you when making the reservation!) read more

COCKROACHES When we got to the hotel a poster was posted stating they were doing there inspection and pest spraying. We did not think anything of it because of the warm weather figured it's a normal procedure. When we got to our 2 bedroom condo on the 14th floor( after requesting a lower level floor we were on the highest), Everything was outdated.. I did not want this to ruin my vacation so I let it be. On Tuesday August 28, 2018 we had a knock on the door for pest control at 9:10 a.m to "spray". We left the room for 2 hours and sat by the pool. The next day (today) there was a lot going on at the hotel, including throwing extra furniture out and had several items of bedding all by the dumpster. We actually met one guy in the elevator and when asked how he was doing he said, great today is my day of but I got called in for emergency maintenance. Did not put anything together until about 2:35 p.m I saw a cockroach scurry out of the couch. I caught it and called down to the front desk. A maintenance guy came up verified it was a cockroach and brought the bag down to the front desk. He did not apologize or anything, his only response was "oh, they usually die after we spray.." my mother was very disgusted uncomfortable there so I went down to the front desk.. long story short the manager which I can't recall his name but a taller guy with glasses after telling me he would refund our money and reimburse us for our stay told my elderly mother " if you want to leave then be out within an hour , I need to have the room rented so be out by an hour and I'll refund tonight and tomorrow nights stay". I was furious and went down there and he stated he was only refunding tonight's stay and tomorrow's stay because there was no issue until today.. he claims he called his big guy and the big guy confirmed it was a palmetto bug(aka cockroach) and that it was not a cockroach.. still not an apology.. this has totally ruined my vacation we were lucky to find the best western down the street and couldn't be happier.. no bugs at all! Amazing staff and better rooms and view.. Manager was no friendly or sorry for the cockroaches.. Manager told me that palmetto bugs are normal-I just did some research and palmetto bugs are fancy word for cockroaches.. they were well aware of their cockroach problem and made it seem like it's no big deal.. stating if you stayed at the ritz Carlton you can see cock roaches .. this is not an acceptable response from a hotel manager.. there's so much more I have to say about this place but the post is long enough read more

Where to begin! Angela in the lobby was an absolute delight!! Very friendly and helpful. We loved our room (1104)!! The view was phenomenal!! We would have loved to have a king bed is our only complaint. We read about the tight spaces in the garage so we parked across the street. Angela checked on us via text message to be sure everything was to our liking. She treated us like family from the moment we checked in. I highly recommend this resort to anyone. We plan on stopping again at some point. read more

This was one of the WORST stays ever!!! It began with booking & continued! We reserved a two bedroom, two bathroom room with a king bed & two Queen beds & complimentary breakfast. When we checked in we were told that the breakfast was not included & we had to pay another $200 for us to get it! We get to our room & we got 4 Queen beds, two bathrooms. Couldn't get the difference back from the resort ( rooms were two different costs) and could not give us the room we booked, bc they were booked. Not what we reserved! The sliding door to the balcony didn't open. Lock was broken, called to get it fixed, Maintaence guy came up and said I can't do this call someone else! When I called the front desk, said ok.. called me back 10 mins later asking if we really needed our door fixed! Seriously?!? After telling her yes. We need our door- we paid for it, door was fixed around 10 Pm that night! Through the night, the one bathroom toilet back flowed into the bathroom -Without anyone using it.. we called in the morning & got a ride and annoyed gentleman on the phone, who says we won't have anyone for another 30-60 mins. Maintenance guy comes up finally, with an attitude that he has to do his job, fixes the toilet & walks out without a word... the bathtub caulking was peeling, water was low pressure & very small shower head, TV was on opposite side of the room couldn't see it from the bed.. room looked NOTHING like we saw on website very outdated. To top it off... Third night there.. our keys were all deactivated! Went to the desk to get another key or get it fixed.. and the guy says he can't do that he doesn't have access to that and he can't check guests in after 9 pm bc there is no desk person.. so he just opened our door with a master key! Maids- just walked into Our rooms without notice or knocking... never - again will we stay at this location!!!! Never will I book through Vacatia either!!! read more

Declining Fast: This was our third consecutive year staying at Seaside for our family Christmas. Unfortunately, it will be our last due to our reservation upon arrival not being correct, an ill equipped, unkempt room, and no response from management during our stay or via follow up post guest survey when contact was requested. We thought we found a gem.... Spacious three bedrooms, great views in higher rooms, more modern furnishings, but after year three it's just another mediocre Myrtle Beach property that feels well worn and better properties can be had for the same price during this slower time of year. *see photos 48-60* The Good: The property is in a great location close to all things and easy to access once you figure out which avenues directly connect with ocean blvd. The staff is nice, particularly Tim at the front desk (who was under the weather), and Larry, the maintenance man who had to come to our room several times to fix the tv, the dishwasher, and the smoke alarms. They were responsive to our needs while there. The views in the upper 3 bedrooms have walls of windows and oversized windows in each of the back two bedrooms so everyone gets a view! Go 12th or 14th floor. Really unmatched by anything we could find on the strand. The 3 bedroom #1203 has a sunrise view and #1206 has a sunset view. #1203 has Better beds with memory foam mattress toppers. Nice to have a comfy bed away from home. #1206 had carpet that was in great condition What matters most to us when selecting a hotel in this area is a sanitary room, great views, decent pools (for the kiddo). If you feel the same, then you'll get 1 out of 3 at seaside. The Bad: Perhaps it's because we chose to come in the low season when the hotel was having pool deck repairs, had scaled back on staff, and were not highly occupied during the time of our stay. But if a hotel chooses to be open to the public, then it should be operating as if December guests matter as much as July guests. We started off on the wrong foot when we arrived and the room we reserved #1203 (and were told was booked in our name) was occupied by other guests. We had stayed at seaside enough to know that we wanted this particular room. So at check in the front desk told us that booking a particular room was not their policy which is understandable, but we felt misled during the reservation process as it seemed to be no problem at all. They had put us in room #1206 which we stayed in the previous year and didn't enjoy as much which is why we were careful to be particular during the reservation process. So #1206 again..... We asked for a different room after we took a peek into #1206 and the only thing they could offer was a unit on the 6th floor. It was comparable in square footage only, not in view (looked at a neighboring balcony) and was even more worn than #1206.... So we stayed put. We asked to speak with a manager to further inquire about the mixup and the staff Christmas party was that day so no one was available. She mentioned we could talk with Tim the next day. So we unpacked and settled in. It was our Christmas.... This was not a big enough deal to impact the holiday spirit. As we got more comfortable in the room, we started to notice things that grossed us out....stained & overly worn furniture, trash left under a living room chair, a very ill equipped & worn kitchen (bring your own coffee mugs...theirs are small), non working remotes, tv issues, non working dishwasher, smoke detectors beeping, and things that with an extra eye or managerial walk thru prior to check in could have been taken care of and we would have been none the wiser. Felt like someone checked out 30 minutes prior to our arrival. Ugh! We decided to get out of the room and head down to the pool. It was rainy during our stay so this was our main activity. The indoor pool and lazy river were freezing cold. It literally took our breath away after stepping in. They were not kept at the 80 deg. mark maintenance said. The plastic walls were ripped and flapping in the wind making the room drafty. The pool deck was gritty and felt unwashed and end of season repairs were being made on the pool deck which were noisy and obnoxious putting a good coat of dust everywhere. The hot tub was nice though! Warm! Which was needed to brave the pool! Went in to speak with Tim at the front desk the next day to see what our options were ( could we go to the sister resort to swim, could they provide a continental Bkfst since the kitchen was not equipped etc). His title was front desk, so we asked for the GM. She was out with a cold and would return on Monday (our check out day) and he'd leave a msg for her to call us. Never did. Disappointing. Recommendation: We do like Seaside in comparison to the majority of where we've stayed. But if you book here, adjust your expectations as their special competitive edge is lost. read more

Discovery When we were at North Myrtle Beach this past spring we were walking along the beach and saw SeaSide. It looked very appealing so we went in and got a key to view an available three-bedroom corner unit. We were very impressed. We also learned that their off-season rates are very reasonable, so we looked forward to coming back to SeaSide in the fall. SeaSide is tall enough and the buildings around it short enough that on the upper floors you can see not just the beach and ocean, but all across the forested community behind the resort--a very beautiful view. Our Visit I would first say that we very much enjoyed our stay here. The large living space, large kitchen, nice balcony, and especially the full two-wall expansive tinted windows on the corner units with their wonderful view is very, very nice. The big master bathroom has a large whirlpool tub. Add to that a large well maintained and clean outdoor pool with comfortable lounge chairs and umbrellas, a covered pool, a small lazy river, two hot tubs, a nicely appointed exercise room, and a large parking deck, and you have the makings for a relaxing stay. I cannot say enough positive things about the view from the rooms at SeaSide. It is magnificent. As we walked along the beach we wondered why everyone doesn't offer such a grand benefit. Instead, we were surprised at the tiny windows at almost all the other complexes along the beach. This hotel looks solid and those big thick tinted windows are hurricane strength. We would have no worries about staying here during a hurricane. It may seem a small thing, but we were also impressed with the abundance of towels (nice quality towels) provided. There are five levels of parking below the living space at SeaSide. So even the "bottom" floor has a good view of the beach and the ocean without the view being blocked by the protective dunes. The incredible panoramic view from our south facing wall-sized windows allows us to see all the way to Myrtle Beach. At night we enjoy watching the color changes of the Skywheel off in the distance and the occasional fireworks. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue, readily correctable, that prevents me from fully recommending SeaSide: intense chemical smells. Stepping into the elevator you are overwhelmed with a sharp cleaning agent chemical smell that is so strong it should be visible in the air. Those chemicals are also used when cleaning the rooms. For some this may just be a nuisance or not an issue. But many people, including several in my family, are highly sensitive to some scents including those of the chemicals involved here. It triggers migraine headaches and severe illness. For the health of some in our party we had to ask for maid service to be stopped. The elevators could not be avoided...too many floors, so those affected had to try to hold their breath. When I called to inquire about it, I was further astounded at the response. I was told that if they do not clean with their scented products, guests complain about rooms not smelling fresh. It's as if there's only two choices, unsanitary smell or killer chemical plant smell. They seemed completely unaware that there could be any problem or that it could possibly be different at any other hotel. The Beach: We love the beach here. It is very flat and broad. There are many more people here than at a family beach like Holden Beach; however, because we're here in the off-season the crowds are small. Unlike Holden Beach which faces south, Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach face southeast, so the rising sun shines on the balcony all the way into mid-afternoon. For one who likes to spend his time on a shaded deck (or balcony in this case) reading a book to the sounds of the ocean, that is a problem. Sun lovers will love it. I stay at SEASIDE RESORTS every January and September when I book ahead. In my years of experiences, it is one of the most desirable resort condo hotels on the GRAND STRAND. It is so safe, small sized with 60 some units, NOT CROWDED, even in season; seven yrs. of building age, extremely clean with all updated furniture, beddings, etc. as required by the Homeowner's Association. This was my first and last visit to Seaside. I started out with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth when booking my reservation and discovered they do not have any ocean front one bedroom units. The only options for one bedrooms are ocean view with balconies on the side of the building. I understand that's the way it was built, but couples without kids and small families should be able to enjoy ocean front views, too. The unit itself was acceptable. It was clean, but oddly laid out. The bathroom is of good size but provides little counter space and towel racks with over half the space taken up by the jetted tub. The "kitchen" was tiny. Very little counter space, so we were forced to put our food on top of the refrigerator and on the dining room table. There isn't even a drawer for flatware - that is stored in a tray in one of the cabinets. I know many people eat out their entire vacations, but we prefer to eat breakfast and lunch in our room, so it was awkward trying to find room to put everything. The amenities such as the lazy river and indoor pool are nice, particularly since we were there during a rainy week. The free DVD rentals in the front office were also a nice touch. I found the security guard who checked us in late very nice, as well as the housekeeping staff. The front desk clerk I interacted with completing my check in the next morning as well as check out was not very friendly. The reason I'm giving this property a 2-star instead of 3-star review is due to the parking garage. It is the tightest garage I've ever seen. One way traffic only, and the spaces are absolutely tiny. We have an average-sized 4 dour sedan and are both normal sized people, but had to squeeze in and out of our cars each time we parked. We were dismayed to find scratches on both sides of our car and a sizable dent that cut all the way through our car's bumper - repairs that will cost us at least $500 if not more. The property does have an open air lot across the street, but we arrived close to midnight and did not see it until we'd been there a couple days and the damage to my car was already done. I'm sure upon check in I signed something releasing the property from liability, but I fault them for building a ridiculously small garage, packing in spaces so tight that cars are damaged. I've stayed @ Bay Side twice now - once in a 2 bedroom and once in a 1-bedroom. The 2-bedroom I stayed at was definitely better. I know they're owned individually so maybe some are better taken care of than others? Anywho, I'm currently staying on the 14th floor (one bedroom) and I'm not too impressed with overall condition. Here's a list of the pros and cons: Cons -floors are tile and SUPER slippery if there's an ounce of wetness on your feet. Very dangerous for kiddies. -master bathroom stinks. Ours smells like mold. -no room for storage (clothes, luggage, etc) Pros - we're ocean 'side' but on the 14th floor it may as well be ocean front. Exceeded expectations. In conclusion, I don't think I'll stay here again. I strongly believe there's better options at same price point. read more

Seaside was decent. If you're looking for just a spot to lay your head this is it. Not many amenities during August 2015 when I visited. Free breakfast is basically microwavable foods, no buffet as we were told. Pools weren't cleaned as often as they should be. Stayed four days and saw the same bugs floating in the same place 3 days in a row. read more

Excellent...snowbirds spending 2 months here...great hospitality..Always something to do

I looked at this resort thru a timeshare tour today. The resort was a bit run down, the indoor pool and surrounding area were filthy and infested with roaches ( they call them water bugs but lets be honest they are roaches). There were spots that the paint and concrete were missing he said they were planning a remodel off the complete area witch may be true. But remodel or not a clean pool is not to much to expect and pest control should be expected by any guest. The sales said on a scale from 1 to 10 he felt this was a six and a half and not the best resort the capital group had. The guests suites themselves were not bad at least the one they keep reserved for tours. It is just all the common areas that I can see leave much to be desired. I will hit the one star rating only because it is the lowest option They need to add a negative side to the star rating system so one could pick minus one or two stars. read more
