Derek Dewinter personally helped me every step of the interview process and without his help I might not have succeeded.

I was first contacted by Arika who told me about an opportunity that she thought was a good fit based on my resume. The interview process was exactly as described. Arika answered all my questions. When she didn't know an answer, she was quite clear about this and referred me to Mark. Mark is a manager and he has been fantastic. He has been available as needed and has made sure to give me regular updates on the current status of the opportunity I applied for. We've talked after each part of the interview and Mark offered' his candid assessment based on my description. It is very nice when an opportunity matches the description provided on first contact and when the process goes exactly as described! In the end, an offer was made to me. I am looking forward to starting my new opportunity and offer a sincere thanks to both Arika and Mark for their help in making this happen.

I first had a phone call with Nick to get an overall understanding of what I was looking for. Then, I went to their offices in Downtown San Jose and met with members of their team. Each person came prepared with a few opportunities that matched my interests. In the weeks after, Mark and Kayla introduced me to various companies, and after each call or interview they would contact me by phone to ask me how I felt. If I did not feel like the opportunity fit me, they did not pressure me to continue down the interview process. They were also helpful in giving me tips on how much salary I could be looking forwards to, what my experience is worth, and if my experience was enough to apply for various senior positions. In the end, I went through the entire process with one of the companies that I liked and had a good fit with and received an offer from them. Although in the end I did not go with the offer that Jobspring helped me get, I appreciate the opportunity and would recommend my friends to use them if they want to look for other jobs. Mark, Kayla, and Nick were definitely the most friendly and personable recruiters that I spoke with, and I had contacts with a couple of other recruiting companies as well. They weren't pushing their own agendas on me, and listened to me.

This agency is trash. They gave me the run 2 years ago regarding a job in San Jose. I had several…read moreemails going back and forth about a job they said that I'd fit into since I had the background. I followed up for a couple weeks, sent emails, sent my resume, did Skype calls to chat with the recruiter regarding the role, several phone calls over the phone, but all I got was radio silence in the end. I know one of the recruiters meant well when trying to get me the job but nothing ever materialized and I was trying my best to get an interview in with the company I would be working for. Even after all was said and done, I never got any follow ups for similar job offers, and never heard back about anything really. Definitely wouldn't trust these guys with any job offers. Horrible horrible agency. I don't even know if the recruiters even work here anymore, but if they do, they really need to step it up.

My first impression of the Account Manager was very positive throughout the enrollment process. Unfortunately, that's were it stopped. In the past 8 months, I have not received a single phone call about temp or full-time opportunities. I recently found out that my Account Manager is no longer working for Nelson Staffing. What's worse, the Account Manager's replacement never called me to introduce his/herself. For all I know my file is in the trash. All of the time I've invested to enroll with Nelson Staffing combined with the bi-weekly emails to my Account Manager have all been a complete waste of time!

I was set to work a contract position for 6 months at a non-profit and was specifically told the number of hours constituting this work period that I was to work. Three months into my contract, my supervisor at the non-profit "reminded" me my contract was going to end in one month since the woman whose position I was filling while she was on maternity leave was supposed to return. However, this was news to me because my LMG recruiter, Fernando, informed me I was supposed to have a 6 month contract and not a 3 month contract. I was at first disappointed with the non-profit I worked at and not LMG because I assumed the non-profit was responsible for the miscommunication. But when I informed my supervisor that I was supposed to work for 6 months, she showed me the email correspondence with Fernando from LMG that mentioned the specific dates I was supposed to work. Her email specifically showed the dates for the 3 months I was supposed to work and not 6 months like Fernando told me. In the email thread she showed me, Fernando even responded to her and confirmed the 3 month-long contract. Therefore, Fernando showed a lack of professionalism and high level of incompetence by not communicating this important information to me. When I told Fernando that my contract would be ending early, he had the audacity to blame me for taking a vacation and said that must have been the reason they were terminating me early. This made absolutely no sense since I informed my supervisor of my vacation months in advance. He refused to take any kind of responsibility for the miscommunication that he was clearly responsible for. When I asked my supervisor whether my vacation had anything to do with my contract ending early, she assured me it didn't and said the employee returning from maternity leave was the only reason I couldn't work longer. This was one of my first professional experiences as a new graduate and I regret ever working through LMG, and it was extremely frustrating and negative.
