I went there for my first time. Was referred by a professional male colleague. I got a color and cut, top brown, bottom blondish-brown. I was a think of red, I.e. A small dime size amount in the brown mixture. The top was supposed to go to my chin. The top is dark maroon and 1-2inches from my scalp. it was $346 dollars. Obscene amount of money. I've been to Details a few times for highlights and eyebrow waxing. Unfortunately I haven't been back because the stylist who last did my highlights did not take into account the thickness of my hair and ended up giving me patchy spots of color. I went back to get it fixed by the same person, but still did not get my hair to the color that I wanted. I have since moved on to a different salon with which I am quite happy. The prices at Details are lower than other places, but you get what you pay for in this case. Also, I find it highly unprofessional that the stylists stand directly outside the salon to smoke and seem to be distracted when a customer comes to check in at the front desk. I once had to wait over 5 minutes just to be greeted at the front desk. There are many things left to be desired at this salon. read more

There have been few people I have trusted with my thick hair in my lifetime, and finding a new stylist was challenging after my previous stylist retired. That was until I found Kristen at Details. I cannot say enough good things about her, she makes me feel great everytime I leave and does a phenomenal job. Very detail oriented, patient I. Figuring out what you want for your hair, and makes you feel comfortable the whole time. Great conversation, warm & friendly. I have very thick hair, which can be a challenge. Kristen goes over options, gives input, and hasn't let me down yet. Highly recommend. I just had my first appointment at Details Salon. As someone who doesn't regularly get their hair done usually because it never ends up how I want and stresses me out - I actually had a pretty great experience at Details. I got a cut and all over color from Kristen and just got home and had to drop by to leave her this review. She was so friendly and gave me one of the better haircuts I've had. Update: Brittany moved to a different state :( Moving to a new area is hard, finding a new stylist is hard. I called Details after looking through their gallery online. I told the woman who answered the phone my particular needs in a stylist and she recommended Brittany. That first visit is always so nerve racking, but I couldn't be more happy, Brittany took time to make sure she understood what I was looking for. I have just visited for the second time and took the plunge and did color with foils, LOVE it. Feel like myself again after a long time not quite getting what I was looking for elsewhere. The salon itself is a friendly clean space with a retail section and reception and then the stylists further back. I was offered drink and a snack as I was checked in. I had a mocha from there machine, but I saw others having some wine too. The women who were visiting all were having a fun time and we chatted back and forth between. The first visit was a quieter day, but both were just fine with me. I will definitely return. read more

Arrived at Details salon around 10:30 am (sign says it opens at 10:00am). The front doors were locked. A man who was chit-chatting with the only stylist in there let me in. I asked the stylist if there was anyone there that could cut my hair. She inquired if I needed it cut right that second. She then advised that she was the only stylist there and she was leaving after the customer ahead of me. She advised that someone would be there after 12:00. I always found myself dreading going get a hair cut. Details turned that around for me. I hated having to describe what I wanted and not know if the person behind me (that I was trusting with my look) would do a good job or not. Molly at Details is great. She always delivers a great cut and we have nice conversation throughout. The atmosphere at Details is pleasant and they treat customers well. Wife has told me that Details recently got a barber. She has been going here for awhile now and always said good things. I called up and got a same day appointment at the same time as my wife, which was super convenient. The salon is very clean and staff is very professional and friendly. I met the barber, David, and he was very personable. I haven't ever wanted to talk when getting my haircut but David made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I had a straight razor shave all around and David did a phenomenal job. Very relaxing experience. I would recommend Details to anyone looking for a barber/salon that does an amazing job and take pride in what they do. Exceptional experience overall! read more

Staff was very nice and pleasant. I enjoyed the atmosphere. However I paid 34 dollars for a gel mani in which the whole manicure part was missing. She essentially just scraped my cuticles down and put the polish on. The place I typically go to pampers my hands with massage and moisturizing and skin care for 10 dollars less. Paying more does not equal getting more. read more

Went to Sally for a facial and since this is the first time I ever had one, did not know what to expect. Sally exceeded my expectations making me feel very special. Also, when I went through the door, I was greeted by a very friendly hostess and felt welcome at once. read more
