So I ended up going to Divine Moment tattooing. Upon arrival, I was impressed by how neat the tattoo shop was and how they were quick to acknowledge me. Getting the piercing was fairly quick and it was a way better experience at this shop. The piercer was very sanitary and professional. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who is interested in getting a piercing!

Went in, the girl offered to put it in for me, I said yes because I had nails on that would've made it difficult to insert. When payment time came around I was charged $20.. I was never told before hand that having someone place the earring in (which took 5 seconds) would cost me another $10. Seems like a nice place, but lack communication, hence the low rating:/

From the temperature to the decor of the room, the atmosphere at The Cardinal was extremely…read morecomfortable. Over two consecutive days I had 12 hours of ink time with Keron and felt cared for the whole time. I believe that to be essential to the experience of being tattooed, especially when it comes to such intense, long sessions. I was frequently checked in on and asked if I needed anything, but I wanted for nothing anyway. My tattoo was based on a design from a movie and I was able to watch it on a TV mounted in front of the tattoo station, which was an amazing perk (and a great distraction from the needle!) The inside of The Cardinal is laid out as an almost open-floor concept, with the desk/waiting area being separated (but not walled off) from the tattooing area. The size of the space and the way it was decorated gave it a really cool warehouse-y feel to me, and I'm looking forward to returning to see the space again. It's a nice escape from the rest of the world. All of this is to say nothing of the art itself - My expectations were high but they were exceeded tenfold. I had reached out to Keron about a design he had made and posted on social media, and he tailored it to my specifications/body placement/etc. - we were both really happy with the result. I left feeling extremely satisfied, particularly with the aftercare instructions, which are detailed and informative. I've begun exploring other artists' portfolios there and look forward to booking some time with one or more of them in the future. I'd recommend this to anyone!

A week ago I went to Cardinal Skin to get a Taylor Swift flash tattoo. They told me there was a…read morelong wait list so I put my name on the list and got a call back hours later in the day. I arrived at the studio and I filled out all of the paperwork and then Karissa started tattooing me. We had great conversation but when she started tattooing me that's when I got nervous. I have a lot of tattoos and some smaller and I haven't had any get done this quickly. During the tattooing process everything was fine but after she was done and was putting on my saniderm she didn't wear gloves, which is extremely unsanitary. The next few days after getting my tattoo I noticed that most of the ink had fallen out and it was flaking off. I was taking very good care of it and moisturizing it. Now, a week later I can see that the letters aren't filled in and that blowout is already starting in some places. It is also raised from the skin a lot, which has never happened with any of my other tattoos. I know it was a long day and I am trying to be sympathetic but a professional should know when to end the day in order to still have nice looking work. I was already prepared to go the next day. I really regret getting this tattoo and wasting $80 on it.

My piercer gave me a waiver to sign, and got a copy of my ID. We talked some about my Jewelry choices, and what I wanted in the future. We then went back to the room for the piercing. She helped me find the perfect spot to get the piercing, especially considering if I wanted different style jewelry in the future. I told her I don't do well with piercings, but I still wanted to get it done. She assured me it was okay, and explained to me that that is how my body responds to things of the sort. She walked me through everything, and then helped me out by fanning me and giving me water after it was all done. Everything is extremely sterile and clean, even the Q-Tips came prepackaged.
