As she looked over the itinerary , she notices that the cruise's schedule isn't showing the return to Bayonne. She calls Ruth , and is told it must be a mistake. While at sea ,it turns out that it's not a mistake. When she calls Ruth from the ship, Ruth says that after she hung up the phone with her, she said to a colleague ,"That Was A Strange Conversation". She never took any responsibility for the debacle . A strange conversation? Why wouldn't you, as the travel agent ,say how are you getting home from Quebec City? She wouldn't even book flights home for us. Our car was in the garage at Cape Liberty . Plane fare, cabs, extra days parking at Cape Liberty ,( not to mention the stress of dealing with connecting flights )we were out approximately $800.00 . The woman never offered a nickel in compensation. We just booked a California trip, and are planning an Alaska trip. We'll never use this travel agency again. You use a travel agent to avoid unnecessary debacles, not to create them. After showing loyalty to this particular agent for years, that loyalty was not returned when needed. Now she's lost our loyalty , trust, AND SHE'S LOST OUR BUSINESS!!!!
