They did a mirror wall in my dining room. It is amazing! I love it so much. They were wonderful to work with from start to finish. I would tell anyone and everyone you are in good hands with them.

I had met with 4-5 different flooring companies that came recommended by Nextdoor neighbors, but after meeting with Jeff Roy, my mind was made up. As you can imagine, preparing a house for sale while still grieving a loss is not easy, especially when you don't live in the area. Sure, Jeff understands flooring, but he also has a sharp eye for detail and an understanding of real estate trends. He did not try to oversell, and in hindsight, all his advice proved to be sound. Jeff and his crew completed the work in less than two and a half days, working around the painters who had fallen way behind schedule. They removed the wall-to-wall carpeting on the upper level: one huge master bedroom, two smaller rooms, hallway, common area space, and stairs. The floors are gorgeous, giving the house a much needed facelift.

When he came out to measure our rooms, he worked hard to minimize seams and reduce waste. This made for a much better finished product and a very competitive price. On the day of the install, John arrived to review the install plan with the team. The installers were on time, professional, and we are very please with the installation. Highly recommend Renovation Flooring, and ask for John!

In the past we've agonized over finding a new contractor or handyman who not only did good work but didn't hit us with questionable or surprise charges, but from the time we first found Eric's business profile on Facebook with examples of his gorgeous tile work and had him redo our bathroom floor, we haven't needed to find anyone else. He has redone the tile in both our bathrooms and our shower (looks absolutely amazing and we are SO pleased with it!), installed toilets, bathroom vanities, painted our hallway and bedrooms, and helped us switch out a ceiling fan with a ceiling-flush fixture with multiple lighting settings, and installed a new mailbox (w/post). We gave him a key to go into the house while we were out of town to install a cover plate for an empty outlet box; he fit it in on short notice so the listing photos for our house would look good. Not only has he done great work on everything, but he's a clear and kind communicator. In the past I've had contractors be very short with me and make me feel foolish for asking detailed questions about aspects of the work we're having done (not great for my anxiety), but Eric has always been extremely gracious and patient. He broke down the process of how the tiling job would go when I asked, he's shown me the most efficient way to patch nail holes and use tools properly, and during the first job we hired him for (as I was just getting comfortable with power tools and DIY projects) he took the time to show me how to properly (and safely) replace the blade on my miter saw! To boot, he's good with our large dogs which is a big deal for us having had many fosters and adopted a few rescues of our own. We can't recommend Eric and his work highly enough. Quality, fair prices, good communication, and trustworthy! Once you hire him for a job, you'll never need to look elsewhere for handyman work and tiling.

Oh my goodness - we are so happy…read more My husband got the information about this business from a friend. He asked Justin (the owner) to come and provide a quote for replacing our master shower floor. The "penny tiles" were popping up and we were doing everything to try and get it to stay down longer than a couple of weeks. He gave us a reasonable price and we hired him. He told us where to purchase our tile replacement and what to look for. The day that Justin was first scheduled to come, he had to quarantine for 2 weeks. Justin told my husband that if we wanted to hire someone else to do the job, he totally understood. We were impressed with that. We waited for Justin after some other places we called said that they would have to rip out the entire master shower to fix the floor. We are SO glad that we did!!! Justin came on a Tuesday afternoon for the install of the tile floor. About 4 - 5 hours or so later, the tile was installed. He asked us how we wanted our tiles laid, which I really did not think about until he asked. He also asked us to select our grout and he brought it back on Wednesday to grout and clean up. After a couple of hours on Wednesday, he was done and we are in LOVE! We are looking forward to standing on our new tile floor in our master shower (even if it's too pretty)! Justin was very professional, brought all his tools with him, and did an impeccable job. We highly recommend him to anyone who wants to use his service. (NOTE: He will be moving to Florida soon to be closer to family, so use him while you can!)

The sales people would have earned 5-stars, but since the installers are part of their business, I have no hesitation rating it 1-star. I was deployed to the Middle East in support or Operations Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, when my wife went to Carpet One to have our house renovated with new carpets and install tile and hardwood flooring as a surprise for me when I returned. She told me the sales folks were really friendly and knowledgeable, and they were patient with her until she had finally made her decisions. My wife was thoroughly pleased with them and felt confident she was going to have first-rate installers install everything professionally. Oh, how wrong she was to assume that. As I said before, I was deployed at the time, so I wasn't around to oversee and quality check the installers' work, and I think they thought they could pull one over on my wife and do a half-ass job. At first, my wife thought after all the installation was complete that they did a really good job. But after some time passed, and the excitement of having new carpet/tile/hardwood flooring installed in our entire house passed by, she began to see some flaws. But she didn't see problems that were that big of a deal. When I finally returned from my deployment and settled back into routine life, I began to notice some serious issues that even I - at the time, completely ignorant of all types of flooring installation - knew were unprofessional, sloppy and lazy work. Here are just some of the problems I found (I'm sure there are quite a few I'm forgetting): With having new hardwood floors, the installers had to put in quarter round moulding at the baseboards. The problem with that was they didn't cut them to correct sizes, and didn't even use "returns" where it terminated at locations like doorway jambs or middle of the wall. If you aren't sure what moulding returns are, please see the following website: http://www.homedepot.com/c/molding_how_to_cut_crown_molding_with_a_miter_saw_HT_PG_TH. What quarter round they did install, they didn't fill in the nail holes, let alone even caulk or paint it. At our back door we began to see water damage to our hardwood. We had someone come out from the store, but their lame excuse was that we had a leak from our door and it wasn't their fault. They didn't listen to us when we said we didn't have any problem before having hardwood installed. Our kitchen/breakfast room have tile, while the living room has hardwood. The installers used a strip of wood to cover-up the seam between the two mediums, but they didn't sit in flat, nor even cut it to the right size. As for the rooms we had tile installed, I have found numerous places where they didn't cut the tiles correctly, got grout on the baseboards and they didn't seal the tile grout. And it really pisses me off that these idiots didn't remove the baseboards' old caulking prior to installing the tiles and sealing them with grout. Now one can see caulking sticking out from the grout, but if I tried removing it, then I would pull grout out also. All in all, it is the lack of quality these lazy, non-professional charlatans demonstrated to us that has caused me to learn DIY for everything inside and out for our home (plumbing, electrical, flooring, etc), and I now refuse to hire any more "professionals," because I have learned I am the only one who really cares to do the job right in my house! Final words: If you know how to install carpet/tile/hardwood, then I would recommend you stop by and see the sales folks, because they really are nice people. If you need installers, then steer clear of using Carpet One's folks!!!

They are the contractor I wish we could get for every project. They provided a schedule and performed everything as promised. This company provided us a timely, quality project for the less money as other local companies here in Panama City. I highly recommend using them. We started shopping for a company to replace the flooring for our house in March. We searched around and started with two flooring companies. These companies we started with were very kind and would tell us they would come to the house the same day as our call. However, both companies took a few days to get to the house. After which we did not hear from them. We had to call and ask when we would get our quote. The one company took 3 weeks to write the initial quote. But at least it was detailed. It contained a breakdown of the work per room, itemized with material & labor. After this initial estimate, we asked to change some rooms from carpet to wood. But we never get the second estimate. So we decided to try the other company. We were finally ready to sign a contract, partly based on the other company being part of a larger national chain. Keep in mind, this took two months working with both companies to get to this point. It's now May. But when they sent us the contract, it only specified a unit material price for carpet. There was no detail of the rooms in our house, no labor, no information about hardwood flooring that was half of the area of the house. They added over a page of clauses to the contract. The contract clauses spelled out all of the things the company was not responsible for. Specifically, their clauses meant that for any reason the flooring did not turn out the way we liked, it would be due to the conditions of our house and not their responsibility to address. We called and talked to them, asked them to provide more specifics about the work to be performed, and asked what we could do to minimize any problems from our house. They never sent any more information or contract containing any more details. It was at this point we decided to look again for flooring and glad we did. We found Habitat Flooring. They answered us back promptly. This was the first company not to say they would see our house the day we contacted them. Instead, we were given a date that someone would be in the area. At the time, their work was more than two hours from our house. Within a couple of days, they came to the house. Then we were given a date to expect the completed estimate. That too was sent within a couple of days. The entire project, we would get a date and the work would be done. They usually would finish a day or two earlier than anticipated. Everything was completed as scheduled. Habitat is flexible about requesting changes during the project. For example, I decided to do some of the work myself. They allowed me to do this and took it out of the final bill. They were clean, prompt, and did a beautiful job transforming our house. We are pleased with the final result of flooring.
