We spent over 30 minutes simply talking before any testing was even done, which meant so much to me. It's rare to find a doctor who truly listens to your concerns and wants to understand the full picture rather than rushing through the appointment as though I am cattle. What I appreciated most was that she focused on finding the root cause of my issues instead of immediately prescribing antibiotics, which have repeatedly failed me in the past. She offered thoughtful at-home remedies and approaches that made me feel genuinely cared for and supported. Something that was super important to me is that the vitamins/supplements she suggested were ones without additives, just clean ingredients which I have at times spent hours searching the web for. It's comforting to know she gets it and I can fully trust her recommendations. On top of that, the annual exam was the most gentle, thorough, and comfortable I've ever had. As soon as I left the office, I called my sister and two of my closest girlfriends to tell them about my experience because I was that happy! They thought I was crazy for going to someones home but I knew in my gut it was what I've been looking for. Glad to share that I was right again :) If you have any reservations, let me negate them, her home was one of the most comforting places I've been, it feels healing, inviting, and warm. It's like your moms artsy friends house you went to as a kid who you just knew was the coolest in the 70s, and probably has killer stories you hope to hear when you're a little older. I'm beyond grateful to have found her and will always go back!

The reception experience gets 1 star. I had two appointments, a week apart. Both times, the…read moremiddle-aged Hispanic woman at the reception desk ignored me while I stood in front of her face. She was typing away. I've been a secretary for 35 years and I don't let anyone enter my office without acknowledging their presence within 5 seconds- even if it's to say, "hello, I'll be right with you". It was so unbelievably long that I decided to walk away and go have a seat. Once I sat down, the woman flung open the glass door and asked how she can help me. That alone is enough to make me never go back there. Dr. Somers is hard for me to deal with. I just think our personalities don't mesh. Sometimes it feels like she's talking down to you or making you feel like what you have to say is ridiculous or doesn't make sense. She seems judgmental and I don't feel like she listens purposefully at all. Now just some "bedside manner" things... while you're laying in the bed with your feet in the stirrups, your coochie is facing the door to the room. The nurse stands at the bottom end of the bed with full view and during my last visit she had to leave the room meaning opening the door while I'm laying there wide open. That's very uncomfortable. When your visit is done, Dr. Somers closes the stirrups without pulling out the foot rest which helps you push yourself up. You're left to dangle with your feet hanging and need to use the stomach muscles to sit back up which isn't comfortable after certain procedures. I don't like that she doesn't leave the room while you're getting dressed. I see someone else addressed this as well. Yes, there's a curtain so you can get dressed in a little corner, but she sits and types her after summary while you're getting dressed. That can be done in her office. Patients appreciate privacy. I think she's a good doctor as far as her work itself goes, but the human to human experience leaves a lot to be desired.

She goes over my health history and seems very judgmental. I asked her about issues such as endometriosis and pcos for more information relating some of my symptoms and she quickly told me that I couldn't have pcos as I get my period. Swiped all other concerns off the table and quieted that issue. She spoke very loudly as I could hear the entire conversation she had with another patient next door to me .i can only assume other people heard my private conversations as well. She then goes to tell me she's giving me some motherly advice. Then goes to belittle me and decisions I've made and I left feeling judged . I never had a doctor stay in the room with me while getting dressed but guess her typing was more important than my privacy. I asked her if we were finished and she continued typing and said you're good to go. I responded with , it was nice meeting you and she said uh huh you too. I heard she's changing offices but I guess since I was a first time patient, she didn't feel the need to let me know. I will be looking for a new obgyn who will hopefully be more mindful and respectful. This is the first time I have left an obgyn office feeling judged. I don't need motherly advice, I need a doctor who is professional and is going to look after health issues and address health concerns in a respectful and appropriate manner.

Everyone was very nice and efficient with the entire vist. Dr. Keen was very nice and professional with my daughter. Giving her a chance to talk and ask questions. I love that her didn't make it seem like she was in a hurry. She took time to really hear her and solve the problem she was experiencing. Dr. Keen ordered tests and made a convenient next appointment before we left. The only negative thing I have to say, which has nothing to do with the practice is finding the office. Finding the campus is easy, but the building the practice is in is not clearly marked. After walking around and asking people.....I found it. I would just suggest a sign, outside the building to help guide you. I would highly recommend this practice for women. P.S. There is free parking on the campus.

After going through this and placing multiple calls and portal messages to my MD, not once did she ever reach out. I feel like I was completely alone going through this with no contact to a physician. That was a horrible first time experience with this office, no bed side manner at all. As other reviewers have noted, it is nearly impossible to get anyone in this office on the phone. Virtually every time I called, I had to leave a message because no one answers the phone. During the course of my pregnancy, I left several messages that were never returned. If I was lucky enough to get a callback, it was sometimes days later. The nurses who answer the nurses' line, Jackie and Gail, were two of the rudest healthcare staff I have ever met. As this was my first pregnancy, I had questions about tests and procedures that the dr ordered. Jackie and Gail were annoyed at every question I asked and acted as though I was inconveniencing them by wanting to understand my care. Jackie actually hung up on me at one point on purpose. Most nurses I have seen in my life have been caring and compassionate - Jackie and Gail are the opposite of this. One of the doctors I saw at the practice admitted that there were some "communication issues" with the nurses - apparently everyone there knows how they treat patients, but refuses to deal with the problem. I reached out to the nursing manager, June, at one point to express my concerns and I got similar treatment from her. It seems the issues with their nursing staff start at the top. I saw several doctors over the course of my pregnancy. Most of them were fine, except for Dr. Alice Roberts. I will never go to her again. She was condescending, demeaning, and rushed through our entire appointment. She treated everything I asked as though she could not believe I was asking such a stupid question. I see that other reviewers here and elsewhere have had similar experiences with her. The practice really should take note of this issue. The one bright spot was Dr. Sarah Warsetsky. She was kind, patient, understanding, and took the time to answer my questions. If you have to go to this practice, she is the only doctor I would recommend. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the care I received here and wish that I had spent more time finding somewhere that would have provided better care and treatment of patients.

I signed in at 9:50 and sat there for about 40 minutes. I watched while two patients who had arrived after me were called back to see Dr. Wasserman. After complaining and asking why I am still waiting I finally spoke to the office manager who told me Dr, Wasserman was running an hour late(as usual). I told her that other patients who arrived after me were taken back before me and was told I would be next. At this point I had waited over an hour. I had to wait another 15 minutes. I was told that I would be seen next(before the other patients that had been called). I was taken to an examination room where my info & bp was taken down. I was told I would be taken to another room to see the doctor as soon as he finished with the patient in there. Another 15 minutes. The office manager was trying to be nice & apologized, but at this point it didn't mean much. If you can't manage the front desk, then what is the problem. I had received several text messages that I didn't see. One said let us know when you arrive for your 10am appointment. The next said let us know when you arrive for your 11am appointment, followed by one that said you missed your appointment. I told the office manager about those texts, she said yes she knows and not to worry about it. They really need to do something so this won't happen again. It never happened at the old office at Jeanes. I don't really care for this office or workers there at all, especially at the front desk, who talk to each other very loudly. It just has a weird vibe. The waiting room is vey dirty. There was trash underneath one of the seats and the rug looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There was a visible stain on one of the seats. This place is horrible. The examinations rooms are very close together & the walls are thin. You can hear the doctor talking to other patients through the walls. When I inquired isn't this a HIPAA violation I was told no it's"incidental disclosure". The only reason that I go there is because I have to, as my doctor unfortunately moved his office there. When I finally saw him, he was upset too, apologized & we joked about how both our blood pressures had gone up. By the time my visit was over I had been there for 2 1/2 hours. This is totally unacceptable. Do better Temple Health.
