I moved here a few years back and finding someone to capture our family in a genuine way mattered to us. She never made it feel staged or forced , it honestly felt more like spending time together while she quietly worked her magic behind the camera. She has a calm presence, a good eye for detail, and somehow captured moments that actually felt like us instead of overly posed versions of us. The photos came out beautiful, timeless, and natural. My husband and I genuinely appreciated the care she put into them, and you can tell she takes pride in her work. If you want photos that feel real instead of overly manufactured, she's wonderful to work with. read more

Morgen created an amazing photo experience for my family. We found her through Instagram and were smitten with her colorful and candid style of photography. Setting up an appointment was incredibly simple and she was very communicative throughout the entire process from scheduling, selecting a location, the photoshoot and the review process. The photography session was very fun, she was able to identify the best spots and suggest natural ways to capture our family enjoying ourselves, plus we were lucky with a stunning beach sunset. Her turnaround to delivering the final photos was also incredibly quick! We will keep her in mind for future sessions! read more

Morgon is incredible.. she came to our house and we had a newborn photoshoot. She was incredibly patient with our baby boy. She did not rush and made sure to get all the shots we wanted. She also had a lot of great ideas for photos! She took at look at what cute baby items we had, mainly stuffed animals and included them in the photos. I am so happy with the final product and plan to use her services again in the future! read more

I can't say enough great things about Morgen and my experience with her. I had a couple of professional photos taken over the years but after receiving a life altering diagnosis, I really wanted something special that included our adult children and granddaughters. I didn't want to make it all about me, I wanted everyone to get the photos that they wanted as well. The experience made my heart burst with happiness. Morgen was always in touch prior to the session and had great ideas about color schemes etc. Things that no other photographer had thought to discuss. I wanted someone to take charge and give us all the suggestions, not the other way around. I wanted a true "professional" and that she was beyond words. She choose a beautiful park that I didn't even know existed. Everyone in the family really enjoyed the session. It wasn't a chore that Mom asked them to do. My family & I will forever cherish the beautiful shots she got that day. I will forever be grateful to her and hopefully will do this again in a couple of years. She was definitely worth every penny. She thinks of all the little things down to the engraved wood box with a thumbdrive of all the photos we chose and even a doggie treat for my daughter's dog. She is so thoughtful. Don't put it off, time flies by way too fast, just book her! read more

When I found out i was expecting baby #2, I knew I wanted a photographer that would match the style I was looking for and who would be able to have patience for my autistic kiddo. He's not very good with posed pictures and I find candid photos to be perfect for him so that was definitely something I was looking for in a photographer. Morgan did beautifully with the photos and getting my son perfectly! She was able to work around him and got so many great shots. I love how fluid the photos were and not so forced. I was a bit concerned on the weather as unfortunately it started getting gloomy in our session, but Morgan did amazing with the edits. We are definitely hoping to work with her again l in the future for family photos read more

I wouldn't even know where to begin on how much I appreciate Morgen and what she did for us. We traveled to LA to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday and celebrate her last year of HS for a few days just she and I and while there thought it would be amazing to have her senior photos taken while there. We had looked prior to traveling but struck out. We stumbled in Designed in Love Photography and Morgen and she responded almost immediatelyu. At first she did not have an appt. But then reached back out sharing she had a cancellation and could fit us in. She was exactly who my daughter was looking for. Morgen is patient, genuine, sincere and it's so obvious she absolutely loves what she does. For her you gather she loves capturing those special moments and creating photos that you can look back on and cherish. She delivered our photos after the session very quickly and they are stunning. Morgen is one of those "special" people in life that is memorable and sincerely just a good person who embodies kindness and cares deeply for others. We love the photos and will cherish them forever. read more

Morgan was absolutely awesome, we wanted to do a small family photo shoot with my 2 year old. I figured it would be hard to keep his attention - but she immediately connected with him, told him her camera was a robot and got him engaged. He was so comfortable with her immediately and allowed her to take some of the most beautiful and candid pictures I have seen. She also did me a favor and sent them to me in a week so I have it for my sons bday. She is truly talented and great to work with read more

We just took our family photos with our now 9 month old and OH MY GOSH they came out so perfect. She captured all our love. If you're looking for a great family photographer, Morgen is your girl. I highly recommend and cannot say anything but great things about Morgen! We decided to purchase her Bundle of Joy Package (includes both Maternity and Newborn photos). I loved that she wanted to know mine and my husband story of how we met, and more about our lives together. We talked about what I envisioned and also her style of photography. She was very flexible as I had to reschedule and also she was very attentive to the weather as it surprised me she reached out as our scheduled day it was suppose to rain and be gloomy (we were doing a sunrise shoot) and gave me the option to reschedule. The day of the photo shoot it was a crazy morning and I was running late but she made me feel super calm and even made my husband feel comfortable (who hates taking photos) feel comfortable that he got really into it and it was amazing. We had so much fun! She encouraged me to do the bare belly photo and I am so happy I did because it turned out amazing! She has an amazing client closet for you to consider. When it came time for family photos she did not disappoint she made such beautiful scenery and knitted a beautiful blanket. Unfortunately my baby girl was just not having it so she made helped us just relax and make the best of it! Again making me as a new mom feel great and confident and just being in the moment with my family. We decided to also have Morgen do our 1 year family photos and they turned out amazing! The photos from all my sessions are absolutely beautiful and constantly get compliments on them. Morgen also does a personal touch when she send you the usb drive with an engraved box and a hand written note. Morgen is easy to work with, has a beautiful and welcoming personality, and great photographer. We couldn't be happier. read more

I wanted to up the level of my business and thought it was time for a branding photo shoot. I had seen Morgan's work through social media - right away I knew I wanted her to do my branding photos. On the day of the photo shoot I was nervous for some odd reason. Morgan calmed my nerves and put me at ease. I didn't worry about my wrinkles, my chubby tummy, etc because Morgan made me feel so confident and safe! I'm so glad I didn't let those insecurities hold me back. Thank you Morgan! I absolutely loved my photos!! If you need a photographer, she is hands down your girl! read more

I cannot say enough great things about Morgen! We picked her Bundle of Joy package which included Maternity and Newborn photos. After sending an inquiry she immediately called me (a personal touch that sealed the deal for me) and we chatted about what we were hoping for in our photos, her photo style, and what to expect day-of. She was flexible and easy to work with when I needed to change our date because my dress didn't arrive in time (oops) and then the location originally selected didn't work out. It could have turned into a stressful photoshoot, but she was so professional and made it fun! Fast forward a few weeks and it was time for our newborn photoshoot. Again, due to illness, we needed to reschedule. Morgen is a saint- so patient with us! She brought all the accessories to make for the cutest newborn photos and even a dress for me from the client closet! It was such a relief to not have to worry about what the baby was going to need and what I was going to wear, especially as a new tired mom. The photos from both sessions are beautiful! She captured our family so well and I'm grateful to have these precious memories immortalized. There are so many beautiful photos, I am having a hard time picking out just a few to print. On top of it all, we received a hand written note, treats for our dogs, and a personalized engraved box containing our photos on a USB. I mean, seriously! Morgen is so easy to work with, has such a wonderful personality, and obviously a great photographer. We couldn't be happier! read more

I am over the moon in love with these pictures. Morgen is magic. I was super nervous and apprehensive about this photo shoot since my daughter is 18 months and I never know how the day would go with her haha. Morgen was very relaxing and easygoing and set my crazy neurotic mind at ease. Sure, my daughter had moments where she was super cranky, but Morgen just went with the flow. So glad that I found you and will continue with your services in the future :) read more

When Morgen reached out to me asking if I would do a shoot with her she has wanted to make come to life for a long time, I was hesitant. I did a family session with Morgen last year so my hesitation was not due to her lack of talent. I know how incredible she is and I know her beach sessions always look like they came straight off a page of a magazine. My hesitation came from a place of insecurity. You see, when she asked, she asked me by sending a picture of a wardrobe she had put together that was beach casual - shorts, tanks, and swim suits, AND the shoot was only 5 days away. GULP. Everything about this shoot was out of my comfort zone. 1. I hate myself in shorts. 2. I am extremely self conscious in a swimsuit. I feel awkward when there aren't lasting memories of it and now I am going to put one on for photos that will be forever documented -Egads. 3. Never in a million years did I imagine doing a family session in extremely casual clothes. I usually plan for these thigs for a month to try and look as put together as possible, not like we've spent a day at the beach - which we in fact did before these pictures. 4. I do not love the water. I love to look the water from a far but water and I are not friends. I do not like to get into water and I absolutely hate water in my face. Despite my hesitation, I agreed. You see, I know Morgen's work is great and I thought "why not". The worst that could happen would be I would hate them. Let me tell you, that did NOT happen. Not only did I not hate them, I absolutely loved them. Morgen is nothing short of a magician. Her talent speaks for itself in these photos. She took a family that spent the day at the beach, only to run home for less than hour to freshen up and change real quick, and made us look like we prepared for this shoot in great detail. My insecurities are decades deep but once we got on that beach with her, they all disappeared. Morgen makes you feel home. She makes you feel calm. She makes things fun and makes all of those feelings wash away just as the ocean waves crash on the shore. When I received the gallery of our photos, my jaw dropped. I know she is good at what she does and the beach is her happy place - it is where she really shines. But WOW. How did she turn that evening, and that casual of a wardrobe and setting into something that good??? Every image tells a story, a story of us. A story of our little family. Many are breathtaking and magical. Some made me cringe when I first saw them because of the ridiculous faces I make. But as time passed, I thought to myself, these are the pictures my boys will remember and smile biggest from when I am gone. These are the pictures that (unfortunately) express who I really am - goofy, free spirited, not a huge fan of water touching me, and an awful dancer who doesn't care and still continues to dance no matter how bad it is. These are the pictures that will make them say "THAT is my mom". Every bit of our family shines through in these pictures. The silly. The love. The fun. I can easily say this is my favorite family session. It was unlike anything I know and apparently that's what was needed. I guess just being you turns out to be the best thing. If you are hesitant to do family pictures because of insecurities, be like Elsa and let it go. Do them. Trust me. Trust Morgen's talent and make memories for you, your family, and your friends. Thank you for these, Morgen. Words can not truly express how thankful I am. Xoxo. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! First things first if your considering Morgen just stop now and book her ! You won't regret it. From the time I was looking for a photographer to the time I received my gallery I couldn't of been happier with Morgen. She is so easy to talk to asks lots of questions to get to know you and the vibe you're looking for. I felt like we were friends by the end of our shoot. She called me before I booked her and helped me decide on which package to do and so much more! She is SO good with babies she got my little guy all swaddled up and to stop fussing for us during our shoot, a natural with him! Besides how awesome she is her photos are phenomenal! She just kills it! The angles, the color, and getting all the details! She really is amazing. I am happy to say I will be working with her again some day soon when we're ready to shoot again! It's taken a while to get this review done (because it's been hectic), but I knew I was going to make one, regardless.  I have been following Morgen for a while on IG and was always in awe of her work... I knew I wanted her to capture my family one day.  Well, a year and a half later, I finally took the plunge to reach out even though I was very hesitant because my kids were young and knew they wouldn't be able to sit still.  But like she always says, "if not now, when?"  But I wanted her to capture my family in memory of our first born who would've been 5 this past December... and Morgen didn't disappoint.  Her creativity, passion, and love for her craft is unbelieveable; and her positive and calming personality is the cherry on top! She has captured a day I was afraid to have with my family in memory of our first born because grief is hard... but Morgen did such a beautiful job taking glimpses of the day dedicated to our angel baby and a day that will hold a special place in our hearts- as parents who has gone through loss and memories to look back on with our kids, remembering an older sister they never met. Thanks, Morgen, for this day and capturing us in celebration of life that (though short- lived) has changed us forever. read more

I have to say that Morgen exceeded my wildest expectations and I am extremely happy I decided to take these pictures. I met Morgen from a facebook post in a moms group desperately trying to find a maternity photographer that fit my needs and I am SO glad I did!! For my fresh 48 shoot, I was nervous because my son decided to make his debut 2 weeks early but Morgen didn't hesitate when I texted her, simply responded she couldn't wait to meet the new baby and she'd be there the next day for our photos. I originally found Morgen on Facebook through a mutual friend when she first started Designed in Love. We booked a session for fall family pictures and didn't really know what to expect considering we had never met prior to the shoot. Morgen was so sweet and instantly made us feel comfortable and like we were long time friends! I can be a little uncomfortable and awkward in front of the camera, but Morgen has these little tricks to get candid, cute "in the moment shots" without us feeling uncomfortable or weird! She even specifically wore a Mickey Mouse shirt and Minnie ears during the shoot to get our 3 year olds attention for the pictures. Since then, we've booked a big family fall session, maternity session, and a fresh48 session with Morgen. She's was so patient during our big family session dealing with difficult, crying toddler! For our fresh48 session, she was quick to respond and so accommodating since our baby girl arrived a week early! Morgen is so creative, friendly, and has such a good eye for capturing moments perfectly! If you're anything like me, after a session you're so anxious to see the photos! Morgen has sent me sneak peeks, sometimes same day, and works so hard to get the collections to you ASAP!
