My husband and I shopped around for a long time before finally settling on PDQ POS. What followed…read morefor the next 5 months was a nightmare for any business owner until we finally bit the bullet and had the system torn out and replaced with a cheaper and more reliable system. (which would seem to be any of them) We are still on the hook with the leasing company for $20,500 plus interest but to be rid of PDQ POS and Signature Systems was worth it. We are contemplating legal action like I have seen a lot of other people say, but who has time for that when you are trying to run a business? First, the menu wasn't done nearly the way it was supposed to be, despite the salesman telling us "we have done this before" and arguing that they know more about how the menu than me and my husband who have owned our restaurant for more than 17 years. When the guy finally came to install after weeks of delays with the menu he didn't have any idea how to even use the system, he spent two days in our way because he needed to be there when we were open, and left wires all over the place. Many of them didn't work since the day they were put in. He didn't know how to fix any of the error codes that popped up over and over and shutting the whole system down. He kept apologizing for not knowing anything and having to call for help and I felt bad for him, but this was a terrible way to start off a business relationship, and them wanting us to sign a contract for another $1400 every year for their terrible service on their defective and worthless system. Second, almost everything in the manager menu said "coming soon" like it is only a half-made system. Nothing was working the way it was supposed to and we had to figure out little tricks to get it to print when doing deliveries. It was just bad, bad, bad all around. After having them back 6 or 7 times in the first couple weeks to fix problems, they began refusing to come back out to us and kept insisting they could fix everything over the phone. I'm sorry, but when a printer won't print after having 5 different people work on it and moving it all over the restaurant, there is something wrong that can't be fixed over the phone. And when the screens keep freezing up when we are at out busiest times there is something wrong with them. I'm no computer expert but even I know that. We also had to have 2 of the screens replaced because they were defective, one of them need to be replaced twice, and even after all that they still kept freezing up over and over again. The final straw was when orders kept getting lost and we were getting complaints every night from the customers. We even lost some of our customers that have been with us for years because of PDQ POS and Signature Systems. Then the lost a catering order for a long time customer's party and that was it. Just do yourself a favor and steer clear of them unless you want to run your business into the ground. PDQ POS from Signature Systems is the worst restaurant POS ever made.

I was referred to Brian Miller of 2B Unique by my landlord who is a friend so I did not really take…read morethe time to check out Brian's review's or feedback which was a huge mistake. If I would have read Lorin O's review which sounds like the exact same thing that happened to me, I would have NEVER worked with Brian Miller or 2B Unique. He is truly the most unprofessional and unethical business person I have ever dealt with, promising and never delivering despite being paid $3,000 which was 75% of the total cost of the website. I started working with Brian Miller over a year ago and paid him $3,000 as a deposit to work on my site (Total cost was to be $4000). Brian sent me a contract to sign with a huge list of items that he was promising to deliver. Now over 14 months later, I have a half finished website filled with errors and unfinished work. The list of errors and mistakes are too long to list here but the major item which is still missing is the "fully customized web-store and shopping cart" that he promised to deliver. Brian stated that I had to sign up with a merchant service provider account ASAP as my customized web-store and shopping cart was finished. I signed up on April 22, 2013 and was being charged a monthly fee by Elavon Network who was to process my online sales but because Brian NEVER delivered a web-store or shopping cart, I was paying these monthly fees for no reason. After waiting 5 months after getting this merchant service provider account and receiving no customized online web-store or shopping cart as promised per the original contract, I contacted my lawyer. Brian kept telling my lawyer that he was going to finish the site and fix all of the mistakes but as of today August 16, 2013 the mistakes are still not fixed nor is there a web-store or shopping cart to speak of. To add insult to injury, Brian then sends me an invoice charging me for items that I asked him to fix (because of 2B Unique's employee's mistakes) claiming that I was making "changes" to the website when in reality, I was merely asking him to correct items that he didn't do correctly the first time! I am now taking him to small claims court so I cannot divulge too much information here except to say that I would never recommend him to anyone. Please message me privately if you would like more information on his business practices. If I could give him zero stars, I would.

Unfortunately, though Brian and his team were paid IN FULL for my website, they never even came…read moreclose to completing the work. *Years* of wasted time speaking with Brian and other members of his staff has led to absolutely nothing but lost money. Unfortunately, as a small business owner, this created a real hardship for me. I tried very patiently and over a long period of time to resolve this matter, received many assurances that it would be resolved, and yet am still out several thousand dollars. At one point, Brian even threatened to damage my company's credibility if I continued to try to make people aware of my bad dealings--via Better Business, etc. I'm hardly threatened by such things, but that also speaks to a dismal lack of professionalism. I don't know who has written the five-star reviews of this company, but I'm glad that someone at least has not had the absolutely disappointing experience I have had. Guess I just picked the really short straw. ============= UPDATE PER BRIAN'S RESPONSE. Please note: My first complaint about this business was posted well over a year ago to Better Business online. I also have literally *dozens* of emails to support my side of things (not just from Brian but from another employee in his company as well as a sub-contractor hired to do the work). I also have a case on record with the New York State's Attorney's Internet Complaint Division. And lastly, though Brian claims to have delivered a website, no such website exists. Again, this is very easily proven. I'm not going to stoop to name-calling, nor do I wish to keep inviting further harassment from someone who has already disappointed me professionally. I will just leave off with the above and hope the truth is evident.
