They have a coal fired Oven, which enables them to enhance things like chicken tikka masala where the chicken is juicy, smoky and so tender compared to other Indian restaurants whom use an oven making chicken tikka masala. The food is impeccably done well. The portions are actually quite good good a shrimp tikka masala and rice is enough to feed two people. And the food here is quality and healthy. I highly recommend them for anybody wanting a change of pace something healthy to eat on a night out.

They also serve thaalis, which we plan on having in the future, though they only serve them during lunch time.

My reason for 3 stars is because despite the fresh ingredients and super flavorful food, I feel like I got shorted on the meat portion for my liver saj wrap. It look me like 4 bites in to finally find a piece of meat, which was super tiny. I think there were like 5 cubes of liver total, all about the size of a small sugar packet. Most of my wrap consisted of veggies and garlic spread. The overall flavor of the wrap (when I actually got a piece of liver in my bite) was delicious, I just wish they weren't so stingy with the protein. I would still like to give this place another try in the future, especially for their shawarma wraps. Because of my first impression I wouldn't be rushing back unless I'm already in the area.

Brand new 1 week old spot right in my family's neighborhood: where they've been for like 35 plus…read moreyears. It's predominantly Italians neighborhood. Never thought I'd see an Indian restaurant but I'm glad they are here. I was only way back for dinner with my family: it's pizza and meat/ cheese night. I had no business stopping here but I wanted to catch up on my caffeine. I only had 2 cups of lattes and it was dinner! So I went ahead and ordered 4 cups of chai.. for myself. Whoops: sorry not sorry. Also, my Italian family hasn't developed a taste for chai yet. I also ordered some chicken seeks kabobs for myself since I don't really eat too much pizza. The place from outside was super inviting. It used to be a hair salon and perhaps an insurance office prior I think. There's no seating inside, rather grab and go. But outdoor has some cute lights and tables. To my surprise: the owner and his family were outside. He greeted me as soon as I got out. Raja of Raja's grill was super friendly, excited and welcoming. He was excited that people show up to support. He offered me water bottles Togo, which I declined since my family's house is literally 30 seconds drive/ 5 minutes walk away. He also offered me some sweets! He was offering to another customer too. Super friendly. Kitchen was small but two chefs inside. Lady at the country was offering food! Super friendly people. Since I was going home for a big family dinner: I calmed the urge to order more stuff. But such a welcoming place! My 4 tea and kabobs came to $25. Great prices too. Entrees are around $13.99+ I believe. Hope they do well! Hope to return for proper meal too. The best first impression!! Thanks for being so welcoming :)

I decided to try their signature shawarmas: Korean BBQ and Tandoori Chicken. A letdown right away was realizing that the signature items aren't customizable. You get the pre-set toppings, and anything extra costs more. It doesn't feel very customer-friendly. The Tandoori Chicken wrap was colourful and tasted solid, though the Saj bread was too chewy and dulled the dish. The Korean BBQ wrap had a nice presentation with glossy BBQ sauce and habanero, but the first bite had an odd smell from the chicken that raised concerns. The flavours were strong enough to cover it, and I managed to finish it. Unfortunately, the real issue came later. Within an hour of eating, both my wife and I started feeling uncomfortable, serious bloating and stomach issues that lasted into the night. It's not the type of after-effect you want to deal with after what's supposed to be a signature meal. While the food looked great, the lack of customization, chewy bread, and the aftereffects made this visit a tough one. For now, I wouldn't consider going back.
