Not only were the pharmacy clerks friendly but the pharmacist had my medicine ready in no time despite a a room full of customers who were waiting also. There were several pieces of antique pharmacy cabinets which gave it that quaint drugstore feel. I have a feeling that Fred's is the place to go when you can't find it anywhere else.

Therefore, my wife reached out to Oakdale Drug to see if they could help. It was very late in the afternoon and they were about to close. After explaining everything to the lady that answered the phone, ( Rita ) she told my wife she would wait for me to get there with the script and she would fill it for us. Another interesting thing is that for some reason most of the cashiers are usually smiling and nice, some are even willing to make small talk (if you want to)... Then there's the "I forgot to pack" syndrome which for me has included various toiletries, stationary, and charging cords. In these situations, the nearest chain drug store (Walgreens, CVS, etc.) is the best bet to restock. This one is on the way to the Plant, is easily accessible off the road, and has what you'd expect for a Walgreens. Nothing more nothing less. .I stopped in last week, they had what I needed, and I was soon on my way as it should be.
