The facility: super clean and insanely welcoming. Mary gave me a tour and showed me the "red light", cocoon, gold beds, diamonds and so on. Mary: she gave it to me straight I'm from Long Island and I hate scammy reasoning and "why I must join" jargon, Mary helped me find a package to try. Which I'm doing the 1 week for the price of one session. Which I then brought 2 small packets of lotion that she picked out because in my opinion they know what works and what doesn't. I loved that she told all the pricing and packages and what came in them. I told her that I'll be using them religiously! The tanning beds were top Notch , I'm used to older beds that I'm just dying in from zero fans . These were amazing ventilated and I kept cool the whole time while getting a bomb tan ! After two days I already see a wonderful difference and feeling great about myself !

Nothing new to report as far as that goes on that front. Customer service was good and no complaints. The product I purchased was a deodorant called Milk & Honey. The deodorant was extra strength and hasn't disappointed in any kind of failure in protection there. The fragrance I purchased was Lemon and Vanilla which is subtle and pleasant. Good, quality deodorant and the plastic applicator works just fine versus my last experience with an Ulta store which really had nothing to do with the store but a different brand of deodorant with a tedious and dysfunctional applicator.

They obviously do not care about good customer service or repeat business.

I think the massage service provided at this site is excellent. However, the business billing is…read morevery unprofessional. I had a monthly subscription. I had my last massage in Feb 2026 or early March 2026. After my treatment, I informed the woman at the front desk I wanted to stop my subscription. I asked her to remove my credit card from my account. My husband kept his subscription and we changed that to his credit card. On 3/23/36, my credit card was again charged the monthly subscription price of 89.95. I did not notice this until I was checking my account around 4/10/26. When I called, the woman on the phone said: "I called you". In checking my phone, there was a message that she had called. So, I asked for a refund or reversal to my card and nothing happened. So I just spent 89.95 for no service, that is fraud in my book. Today, was checking my account again and my card was charged $50 on 5/19/26 for a service my husband had. I called again and a very apologetic woman said she would take the card off both accounts. So treatment service is great. Mishandling money is unacceptable.

I visited this location after trying to schedule an appointment for over a month at both Lacey and…read moreUniversity Place and having my appointment cancelled because the massage therapist was sick. This is definitely the season and it effects all of us so might I recommend we try to practice some of those wise choices that we're required of us during COVID-19, I'm also speaking to those who visit massage places when they're sick. Anyway, I received a gift card. That's the only reason I scheduled an appointment. For health reasons, as a frequent migraine sufferer, I've scheduled monthly massages for myself for over 20 years but since arriving in Wakinekona/Washington, despite my doctor recommending massage as treatment, it's not included in insurance and this place is hella pricey, not just Hand and Stone but almost every massage location I've looked into. However, the staff here are very friendly, professional, and the place feels clean. If you can afford it, then I'd recommend it. Try to be clear with your massage therapist when it comes to pressure. That always seems to be an issue regardless of where I am,this place is very gentle.

I did purchase one thing from there, but I got more help from other customers than I did any of the employees or management it's conveniently located outside the Tacoma Mall on that Tacoma Mall campus, but parking is horrendous. It's very hard to find a parking spot.

I have to say I am very impressed with that brand and especially like the Cedarwood fragrance that I purchased. It's a unique fragrance and one you don't often come across when shopping around for fragrances. The soaps I am equally impressed by. Very good quality and refreshing with each use. I purchased various brands and have had a positive experience with each one so based on that I would say "you can't go wrong" on your options there.

I went to see the owner, Angela Walsh after one other time of seeing her a few months later. As a…read moreformer hair stylist myself, I can preform my own color retouches and some highlights, but I wanted to feel pampered & to go a little lighter and brighter which I can't do at home. None of that was achieved. She missed a gray patch right in the middle of my part, the toner made it a gray muddy color, I had breakage where she over lapped the lighter, and bleeding causing spots. She didn't ask how I wanted it styled and left the whole back underneath wet. When I sent her a message telling her how sad and disappointed I was and how can we fix this. She was at first apologetic, but since I didn't reply right away(it was after 9:30pm) she went off on me the next morning. Here is her message back to me. "Heather, I've spent the night in absolute disappointment that you would send me your above message and how unwarranted it was to treat me this way and belittle me. I'm sure in the 19 years of you doing hair you never had to make adjustments on a clients hair to make them happy. This is a very minor adjustment, I guarantee my work and always want to make my clients happy hence 20+ years of doing hair and owning salons. This type of message just makes me so sad. Your time and money is no more valuable than mine and since I'm booked solid for the next two weeks I would be staying late or coming in on my day off to fix this for you, which I'd be more than happy to do had you just asked me. Instead that didn't happen and I'm not up for another session at this point. I wish you all the luck in your at home hair journey." I have never seen a reply from a hair stylist like this in all my 19 year as a successful stylist. You would bend over backwards to make sure your client was happy and if they still weren't, you'd offer them to see another stylist in their salon or their money back. I requested my money back($277) and she blocked me on social media. This is not who you should be doing business with. She's a money hungry washed up stylist who thinks putting people down is going to make her big. This is not how to do it. I feel sorry for the girl that works for her because she is highly talented and you can see her anxiety with being there. Don't waste your time or your money, chances are, she'll talk poorly of you as a client just as she did to me regarding her other clients.
