They've always exceeded expectations and are a valuable community resource, one of the few (only?) dedicated gun stores in town. I have bought guns off their shelves, ordered thru them, sold guns to and thru them, received excellent/expert gunsmithing services, purchased ammo & accessories, and received outstanding hands on training & advice. Lee and his crew created and maintain a great, roomy space with cool decor. I have never been pushed, ignored, upsold, or misdirected. Walk-up access to a gunsmith with Lee's experience is a huge benefit all by itself. I've bought elsewhere locally but not since Rich's opened. Rich's also offers an outstanding guarantee on all new firearms and I consider the prices very fair. If my wife decides I can have a new gun, this is where I'm going.

It appeared that Baruch was working in the back in a shop that is completely open to the public. He has a dood selection of tools including a nice vertical mill. He also real gunsmith. Also, noticed they had an outdoor axe throwing target and decided to go inside. As we stepped inside it wasn't too busy. It was clean, nicely lit and was very organized. The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable. They had a variety of guns, and for kids they had GoatGuns and other items. They had a bathroom for customers which was well kept and clean. I didn't have time to actually go axe throwing or go to the shooting range but plan to next time I'm in town.

For the first time, I was able to see or hold real firearms which are allowed in CA only in picture form. Being a resident of CA, I am not allowed to buy them, but at least I can look at them. Ammo prices are fabulous here. I bought what I needed and walked out of the store, thinking "What's wrong with this picture?" It was that I wasn't treated like a potential criminal, as in CA. No ID required, no $1 fee, no computer check, no waiting for the results. Just buy the ammo like a normal law-abiding citizen. One of the friendly gun department staff members compared notes with me about gunsmiths, and we realized that we both favored Bolsa Gunsmithing in Westminster, CA. That was surprising. This store is very well inventoried in just about every category other than firearms and ammunition. It is a pleasure to view all the camping and hiking equipment, as well as home patio furniture and supplies. Thanks for being there for me !
