William and Alex are absolutely wonderful and they made our stay so much better. Our room was great, big spacious, full side fridge. We had everything we needed. The grounds were a beautifully manicured. The flowers were fabulous and the pool looked absolutely inviting. Location was great. Shower was good, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen. In room laundry. I WOULD RECOMMEND

WHY WE WENT HERE: - discounted 3 nights, 4 days stay from a wedding fair we attended THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located on Cathedral Canyon Dr - parking throughout the grounds is a short walk to whatever building your villa is located in - there are 2 pools and 1 jacuzzi that are in the center of the resort THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - lobby building has the lobby, market, activities room, and gym on the ground floor, the presentations are held on the 2nd floor - each building has its own name; ours was Eucalyptus - rooms will overlook the golf course, the courtyard, or the parking lot - the villa is essentially an apartment/Airbnb; you have an enclosed bedroom, living room and dining room, full kitchen with all the kitchen essentials you'd need to cook, in-unit washer/dryer stack, and a patio - you can tell that the grounds are a bit older, but they're well maintained - gym is fantastic! spacious and has all new equipment THE MENU: - cocktails and bar food available at Palm Terrace cafe WHAT WE ORDERED: - various cocktails as well as a BLT sandwich and Southwest Chicken Salad THE TASTE: - cocktails were colorful and strong - BLT sandwich was good, as well as the fries - salad was generous! lots of crunch and freshness CUSTOMER SERVICE: - FYI this is a cashless resort; when you check-in you have a card for incidentals/$100 deposit that will be used for anything that you order during your stay (food/drinks at the Palm Terrace Cafe, ice cream or activities that you pay for in Inspired activities room) - Vini at the Palm Terrace Cafe, Kevin for the Inspired activities, and Tara for the presentation made our experience great - Vini was always warm and welcoming and enthusiastic when we went to the Palm Terrace Cafe - Kevin was chill and very knowledgeable of our tequila tasting experience - Tara was a funny straight shooter SIDENOTE: - all the TVs we encountered (in our villa and the gym) all indicated they were DirecTV but we were unable to access any channels, etc. I'd recommend future patrons to bring a laptop and HDMI cord to watch anything in their respective villa

This place is a timeshare and is now run by Hyatt. Hyatt recently has taken over all the Welk Resorts properties, and has completed a major renovation of the resort. I recently just stayed there and everything seemed very nice to me. I've stayed at many different timeshares and this place is certainly on par with all the others. I rented out a spacious one bedroom that virtually had everything you would ever need for your stay. The unit had a living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would ever need. Everything was immaculate and well maintained. The only drawback for staying at a place like this is that you will need to get in your car and drive somewhere to have breakfast, unless you want to actually make something for yourself and eat in your room. There is really nothing within easy walking distance.

We spent a relaxing week here with our two young kids. The resort is geared towards families, and they hold activities each day for kids. Some are free and some require a fee. The room was spacious and the kitchen was helpful in saving money since we just hit up Sam's Club and cooked our meals the whole time. They didn't have covered parking so your car gets hot in the desert Sun, and the sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable. Other than that though, our stay was very relaxing. All the staff members were courteous and helpful. It's a well kept property that's a good value for families.

Tried to call the front desk but you can't call, only text. So I texted, waited 10 min and after no response my husband went up to the front desk. They literally walked him to their linen closet, handed him some wadded up sheets and said we could change the sheets ourselves. Sorry what? Thats when I decided to go online to try to find a new place to stay. Grabbed my phone, sat on the bed in the bedroom, only to find some lovely pubes in the bed. Texted the front desk again, no response. And because it's so late at night, there's literally no where else to stay in the area because everything is booked. This place should seriously be shut down.

The Oasis in Palm Springs is operating under the…read moredelusion that they own the public infrastructure surrounding their property and their management openly admits to breaking the law. On multiple different evenings, a security guard from this resort was actively patrolling a public sidewalk outside of their property boundaries, driving a golf cart/ATV like vehicle equipped with a blinding, hazardous light. When approached on a public right-of-way to discuss why an unauthorized motorized vehicle was patrolling public pedestrian walkways, the guard refused to identify himself, waved dismissively, and sped off. Thankfully as a safety measure the entire interaction, the vehicle, and the hazard were fully caught on video. Which under Federal Law & California law, anyone has the right to record video and audio in a public space they are lawfully accessing/occupying for any reason, especially so when it comes to their safety. The most disturbing part of this entire ordeal is the management's response. When I confronted the manager about this--which is now a *repeated* pattern of behavior--she flat-out admitted that she explicitly orders her personnel to leave resort property, breach their jurisdiction, and patrol the public right-of-way. Her excuse? The resort didn't build their perimeter walls high enough, so people climb over them and they have security issues so they illegally patrol the public sidewalk on a motorized vehicle. Let's be entirely clear: The Oasis's poor architectural planning, cheap security infrastructure, and inability to secure their own private property is *their* problem. It is not the public's problem, and it certainly does not grant them the right to illegally operate motorized vehicles with blinding lights on public pedestrian sidewalks where they have zero jurisdiction. If you are looking for a resort that respects the local community, understands basic legal boundaries, and prioritizes actual safety over illegal power trips, do not stay here. Management is running an entitled, rogue operation that puts the public at risk to cover up their own property defects. Avoid at all costs
