I shop at the nearby Albertsons and recently received a mailer for Highbrook Way Dental, so I decided to pop in before grocery shopping. I was greeted with smiles all around by the three gals at the front office. Everyone was kind and pleasant, and the reception area was bright, clean, and welcoming. I liked it enough to book my first appointment for the following week. I provided my insurance information and asked them to email me my insurance breakdown. At my appointment, I was seen promptly. My hygienist was amazing, thorough, and made me feel very comfortable. She took my X-rays, measured my pockets -- all good there! -- and gave me a great cleaning. Afterward, I met the dentist, who also had a wonderful chairside manner. He reviewed my chart and said everything looked great. My only note is that I had mentioned I prefer cleanings every 3-4 months and am willing to pay out of pocket if insurance doesn't cover it, but upon checkout I was scheduled for six months out. Maybe I wasn't clear, so I'll follow up. Either way, I really loved my visit and look forward to my next one. Also, the back office was just as immaculate as the front -- not a dust bunny in sight! When I arrived there they wanted to do X-rays which I refused because I didn't want to pay for them. That was fine, the assistant re-glued my temporary bridge in and was having a problem with it setting but said it should be fine, I was never told they wanted to charge me for the re-gluing, it fell out 3 hours later. Now, I keep getting text messages that you are unable to reply too stating I owe $125 for my visit. When I call I can't get ahold of anyone... I'm frustrated and confused. I refuse to pay anything. I hope this dentist office stands by its advertisement.
