The first surgery resulted in a sinus perforation and the attempted repair was unsuccessful. This error has required three surgeries in the past year with a new practice. A request for a mild sedative before the last procedure at this office was disregarded and never prescribed. I called and I was told it was unnecessary and they would give me a mild sedative when I arrived. The nurse was rude and dismissive and the last surgery was an awful experience because I was fully aware of everything. A broken tooth was extracted to prep for an implant but it exposed a wisdom tooth that had to be removed by my new surgeon. The entire experience was not only disappointing but also traumatizing. I wish they had told me that they were not comfortable working with a nervous patient. It would have saved me the trauma.

Several years ago, I had an implant procedure in Los Angeles, which left me extremely disappointed with a large gap in my jaw below the implant. It caused me to have speech problems and nervousness. Sadly, no dental professional (and I sought the advice of many and spent thousands of dollars) had a remedy. I met with Dr. Jace Hansen, and he was not only helpful, but knowledgeable concerning the problem. He explained the procedure and told me he could repair the area. Moreover, I really felt I could trust his expertise. Dr. Hansen performed a Connective Bone and Tissue Graft to restore the bone structure. The difference is so amazing. I have never had a cavity or any dental issues in my life, so this was unexpected as I was just there for a routine cleaning. When I asked the hygienist to proceed with only the cleaning covered by my insurance, there was some hesitation and continued suggestions to purchase additional products, including a specific toothpaste. Overall, I didn't feel that the patient's best interest was the priority, and the experience felt more focused on upselling than straightforward care. If you're looking for a simple, no-pressure dental office, this may not be the best fit.

Cancellation policy is a fee of 50.00 dollars if less then 48 hours but that courtesy call comes 24 hours in advance so there is no ability to reschedule. I'd say common practice is to give sufficient time to patients to reschedule if necessary because we do schedule 6 months in advance. There's a lot of little nickeling and diming. I don't see this place being around long and there are plenty of reviews to support this.

We took our 8 year old boy in to the office four times. The 1st visit was to have X-rays and oral…read morehygiene done. We were told that our son had two cavities that needed to be fixed. We schedule the appointment as soon as we could and that ended up be 3-4 weeks after the first visit. The 2nd Visit immediately ended abruptly with the dentist lifting his hands in the air and saying that we needed to schedule an operating room to have his cavities filled. I was not prepared to schedule an operating room for an 8 year old boy. So I rescheduled an appointment and took our child this time. Our boy did not like the noise of gas and we were only seated for 3-5 min before the the dentist walked in and began to try to numb the gums. This caused the boy to jump, but he was able to do what he needed. Dr. Toby M. Did not wait and began to repair the teeth. Our boy began to get really scared began to reach to push the tools away. Dr. Toby M. again threw his arms up and said he will not do anything outside an operating room. After a few min of talking with my child, he was able to calm down and slow the dentist to work... problem is that Dr. Toby M. only did one tooth correctly and then half did the second and told us to come back to fix it correctly. Keep in mind that the boy at this time was completely calm and and complicit with what was happening in the office. Trip 4 was today, I had to leave town today on short notice. His mother took my boy back to the office. One week later from trip 3, otherwise they were scheduled out till April... more than 5 weeks out to repair this temp fix. The boy is scared and began to panic. Then Dr. Toby M. put his hands into the air and said he doesn't have time for my boy. No work was done, but services were paid for again. I would not go there for any type of service nor would I be willing to be paid to go back. His manners were regretful and his actions could have permanent fears or anxiety toward dentists in the future.
