Brian is very friendly and professional and is willing to work with you as a client. His prices are also really competitive, which helped our budget (not that the food tastes budget at all!) I was able to take parts of his regular menu and turn them into appetizers, which he and his staff served separately and were well-prepared to do. For those interested, we had mixed fruit and lumpia trays with spicy sweet and sour sauce. Our mains were Kalua pig with cabbage, Hawaiian BBQ chicken, pancit, macaroni salad, and an Asian garden salad. I was getting compliments left and right (not that I deserved them- Brian and his cooks and servers did) about the quality of the food. Everything was delicious (especially the meats- oh my goodness the slow cooked pork and the flavors on that chicken!) I saw a few guests clutching his business cards as they left like they wanted to keep him as their own little secret. I hadn't sampled the food before booking and was going on faith, but I'm glad I chose the caterer that I did. I was the sole event organizer, and I really liked that Brian made a point to contact me at least twice leading up to the event to confirm and hash-out every detail of the event's proceedings. I was also thankful that Brian made a point to find me and insist myself and my father (the other focus of the event) eat some plates he had made for us. WOW!!!! Continental catering was so amazing…read more We used Continental Catering for the welcome dinner for our wedding weekend, and asked them for an Indian "street food". They were SO kind and accommodating, and brought us in for TWO full tastings (with guests!) to perfect the menu. The chefs were so sweet, and also really humble with the less familiar cuisine, actually asking my grandma for her thoughts and taking such detailed notes on what we wanted. Also, we got the most amazing s'mores dessert, which was a huge hit with our guests. We also subcontracted several other things through Continental, like tables, chairs, lighting, and AV. This was honestly extremely convenient, and was so nice to not have to juggle so many vendors. Their communication was incredible, the food was great, and just an 11/10 team. So glad we chose Continental for our event!

I hired this company for a memorial service for a family member that passed away. I spoke to them…read moreat least 3 times with questions preparing for this event. I have an invoice and receipt for the deposit. I received a text message at noon on the day of the event telling me who was in charge of my event. They did not even show up or answer my calls for at least 30 minutes. When finally did answer the told me some BS story about the deposit going to someone else and they were in a lawsuit with that company claiming there website was infiltrated and they were going to court for this. Next day I called my cc company to dispute the charges and it was already credited back to me. Seems like if someone was collecting deposits illegally why would they refund me. I would never book with this company. They also encouraged me to use Zelle in which case I would have never had the deposit returned to me.

The food was great, service was amazing, and Chenia made it all seamless for me. We had about 85 guests and all were very impressed. Last weekend I had my own wedding reception with approximately 120 guests. I can not count the number of compliments we received. We really had no idea what we were doing, and Chenia helped us figure out exactly what we needed (rentals, linens, appetizers, drinks - everything!), where to set everything up, and how to time the reception (i.e. how long for apps, etc). She really made our wedding so easy - the food was fantastic and she and her whole staff were extremely professional and organized. She was there when the rentals were dropped off and picked up and for the entire wedding day from setup to teardown. She paid great attention to detail for everything from the food presentation, to helping us get the tables set up, to ordering custom napkins to match our wedding colors at no charge. Chenia helped us build a custom menu based on our preferences and everyone loved the food. We had several tray passed hors d'oevres (mashed potato shots - Yum!) and two stations. The mexican station had made to order tacos (chicken, steak, fish) along with a shrimp ceviche cocktail that was out of this world. We also had an italian station with made to order pasta with a billion different toppings and sauces. Our guests loved the food! Considering that my family is Italian from NJ and Tim's is from Texas and loves Mexican - that's a hard feat to please them both - and she did! Really - she thought of everything and was very fast at responding to us. We had originally booked different caterers and they backed out 2 months before the wedding and they had no backup plan. We were really in a bind when we found Chenia through a friend's recommendation. She calmed us down and did such a great job and with very little notice. She helped us work within our budget and didn't nickel and dime us like a lot of others that we got quotes from did. We would book her in a heartbeat if we had another event coming up! The level of service that Chenia gave us was really remarkable - she really wanted to help us make our wedding great! It was such a breath of fresh air working with her after so many others that we had asked for quotes, etc. She responded quickly and made us feel like she would be there to cover every detail - and she was! She clearly laid out the cost and what would be included. The day of the wedding, she worked like crazy to make everything perfect. I really can't recommend her enough - she is a sweet, personable, professional, honest businesswoman - and a fantastic cook!! Save yourself the trouble of shopping around - Chenia is a fantastic choice!
