The layout of the store was fantastic, everything was clearly displayed so you wouldn't be walking around aimlessly for what you are shopping for. As for prices, I was pleased that everything was at a descent price compared to some other places I visited. The only bad point I have is that they were out of rats at that time, but with it being close to christmas It was understandable so I wasn't upset. Staff are willing to help and are happy to discuss the products. If you're thinking about buying one of the small animals, they discuss your choice through and can give you the main differences between the options to make sure you understand what you are taking on. They offer leaflets with care advice and tell you to pop in if ever you have a query or concern. They also offer a range of fishes and fish tanks.

Desborough Pets is a short walk from the main shopping centre Eden in High Wycombe town centre and does have parking closer but I think it is all pay and display. Old fashioned pet store…read more It's old fashioned in as much as its laid out in a fashion more akin to a store in an Istanbul souk rather than the modern minimalist clean cut ways of the west. Stacked to the rafters with pet parafenalia it's the place to get all your pet needs met. For fellow cat owners they sell catnip mice that cause our cat to go a little mental and within a couple of days disembowel the cheap little toy. She loves 'em and it's a pleasure to watch her go mental.
