First time to do major dental work, I was scared and so nervous because what people always say…read moreabout their Dentist and apparently that's because they've never been here to Doctor Massoud! No Seriously! :)) Starting from the front desk as a walk in patient , it was a really easy and smooth process , filled the required documents and by the time I finished I was called in the doctor room , she listened carefully to my problem and then started the X rays with the help of the technician - easy process- then the doctor told me it's a ROOT CANAL! It wasn't the words I want to hear and that was really scary for me! The doctor started with the anesthesia shot and made sure I have no feeling at the required part and then started the work. I was allowed to listen to my music - remember I was still nervous - and all of sudden I heard the word DONE ! :)) I was like , Done?? Where is the pain?? Where is the screaming part I should do?? Lol I went again for another filing and that time I was pretty sure of how easy and smooth is the process! Very clean clinic, very nice staff and the doctors their are so sweet and kind, they will understand your fears and will work on it with you! Premium work really and now I eat and drink normally on my teeth! I don't live close by that area at all but really for the good dentist I'd drive any distance and you too should do the same! ;)

Dr. Massoud is AWESOME, she actually said "I like doing them" when discussing removing my decaying wisdom teeth!!! I was seen right away, in at 11am and out 12:15! Say WHAT??? It's also a FAMILY PRACTICE, so I am bringing our children and the Hubby! Her receptionist Amber was professional and kind, Dental assistant (forgot her name) was reassuring and they NEVER judged my decaying teeth! What I loved most is that Dr. Massoud DDS help create a treatment plan to get my teeth/mouth healthy. I am impressed and she's MY DENTIST!!! BTW, go girl power with all female staff!

My first visit I had a really bad toothache and newly returning to DC from NC I hadn't found a dentist and God lead me there and I am 200% satisfied. My first visit Dr Pilgrim assessed my situation, prescribed me some antibiotics, told me to take Tylenol for the pain and educated me on a few other things regarding why he suggested Tylenol and the staff was equally as welcoming as Dr. Pilgrim. I later went back for the extraction procedure and I must admit that I was quite timid, as a matter of fact, I was shaking in my boots but everyone made me feel really comfortable. The procedure was quick, painless, and went well. Listen I'm afraid of the dentist but dental care is very important for me so when seeking dental care, I'm looking for the most caring, knowledgeable, & experienced dentist that I can find and I found him at Christian Dental Care at 3611 Branch Ave in Temple Hills MD. Thank you Dr Pilgrim and staff for welcoming me and providing me with the best service possible. I would recommend their services to my family, friends, and foes.

This dentist is very unprofessional and has a poor bedside manner. As I was waiting for Dr. G. to…read moreclean my teeth, I noticed that the bag containing the "sterile" equipment was torn and had holes. It also appeared to be water-damaged. I politely asked w/n his office sterilized equipment in-house or were new tools used for each patient. Dr. G said they used an autoclave in house. I then asked if this was why the bags looked to be damaged. He said yes. I also asked him if there were any studies about the use of water picks and gum recession. I noted that since I'd recently gotten braces, I'd been using a water pik. Dr. G. responded that a lot of studies are on the internet but he didn't know of any related to gum recession. He went on to note that there's a lot on the internet. I agreed with his last statement and noted that over the past 6 months I had seen news articles about several patients who were infected with hepatitis A by their dentist, and another article about a young man who died during a routine dental procedure. Instead of asking why I was concerned about the water pik, or w/n I had noticed any dental problems since using one, and w/o having any knowledge of the articles I noted, Dr. G. scoffed at me, and asked if I believed in the moon landing and the events of 9/11. To add further insult, as I was leaving the office, he said he "would pray for me." As if! Dr. G.'s rude, arrogant and unprofessional demeanor was unwarranted and for this reason, I will no longer visit his office as a patient. If you want a dentist who'd rather insult his patients than be professional and answer dental-related questions, then go see this man.

I was experiencing discomfort and was able to be seen immediately and because of Dr. Gordon's professional demeanor, I was able to continue on with my busy day pain free thanks to Dr. Gordon and his staff.
