I had an adverse reaction to the Doxy so they took me off of that and the tacrolimus and put me on clindamycin. The clindamycin made my skin worse so I texted them to see what I could do. No response. I then called and was instructed to go back on the tacrolimus. I offered to come in and be seen again, but I was told it wouldn't be needed and to just do the tacrolimus. A month later, I go in for my appointment today and expressed my frustration about my skin only getting worse. Susan told me the tacrolimus is not a treatment for my skin condition...... okay so why did you put me on it? I'm then gaslit and told that she never told me to go back on the tacrolimus..... which she did, and the lovely girl who did my intake even confirmed during that time that she remembered helping me with my concerns about the doxy and clindamycin. I told Susan I am reluctant to do any additional treatments with her because I was under the impression that I have been on medication for the past month and unbeknownst to me, I was not. She told me she is starting me on a new medication. When I asked why I wasn't put on this after the clindamycin if the tacrolimus wasn't an appropriate treatment and she told me she couldn't start me on the new meds without seeing me again (which I offered to come in and was told it wasn't needed). The rest of the staff was fantastic, but it is so frustrating and disheartening to be written off and gaslit but the person you are trusting to help you feel better. Edited to add: Now we are at today 10/30. I finally got a culture and biopsy done last week and found out I have had an untreated staph infection for the past AT LEAST 3 months, potentially up to 6 months because that is when the rash began. I told Susan at my first appointment that I had a staph infection in April and the rash started after that and she still refused to biopsy or culture and insisted it was just dermatitis or rosacea. If you care about yourself or your health at all DO NOT SEE SUSAN! The rest of the staff I have spoke to has been lovely and amazing, but Susan is a gaslighter and does not care about the well being of her patients. I genuinely feel as though I was a victim of medical malpractice. I am a veterinary assistant and see skin issues in dogs and cats all day every day. When there is an issue in the skin, we sample it. Whether it be through cytology, culture, or biopsy. To ignore my request for culture over and over and then back peddle when you realize you were wrong is pure medical neglect.

Dr Petrillo was amazing and radiology was quick. The professionalism from all was superb. I wish I got the phlebotomist name she was engaging and friendly. The total trip was 45 mins! While Quest this morning was empty they had to send me to the third floor because "they are not being sent anyone's lab requests". I needed a fasting blood work and I arrived upstairs at 7:20. Feeling like I'm at a clam shack I take number 96. They are just calling 77!! If I wait I'll be late for work and if I come back I won't be able to eat until after 2pm. I had to go. Lady I. The elevator tells me she arrived before 630 and was number one!! And she says that they only have two phlebotomy staff and are no longer open on weekends unless you want to drive to Providence. Hawthorne has gone downhill. My PCP left, the entire staff of my ENT left. It's a patients nightmare. Shame on Brown.

I was advised they would speak to the provider because he only had one no show which was two or three years ago. I was left a voicemail that said the Doctor said she's going to refill his prescription once.But you need to find another doctor I called for the office manager to call me back two times on two different dates and still never received a phone call. The strange thing about this the last time my son was seen I believe was last August. As he had a year of his medication.. I called my husband after the appointment and told him...I believed the doctor was racist, simply by the way she was acting towards me and my son. Back story:I was seeing a different provider that no longer was there and this was my first time seeing Dr.schappell. point being after a year when he finally needed his medications again and I tried to make the appointment. Now is somehow discharged and nobody will call me back. Both nurses( who were super nice and confused)stated it must have been a mistake.But again no one has called me back. Shame on you, it doesn't matter if you own the practice.You should treat everybody the same! My sixteen year old has been a patient there from the beginning and as your own staff said there is no note saying or indicating why he should be discharged
